Hôtel Newport

We had a poor reception at this hotel by a man whose manner was very rude. There was no smile, no greeting, no welcome. He had a very intrusive manner, questioning our choice of larger accommodation at the hotel. What concern was it of his as long as we had paid for a more spacious room, we wondered. He told us, very abruptly, that we had to vacate our room at 10am the following morning even though the hotel policy was an 11am check-out! When we challenged him about this, he reluctantly agreed, adding the caveat, "At the very latest!" in an angry tone. Our accommodation, however, was beautiful. Our room was spacious and spotlessly clean. The bathroom was immaculate. Parking was plentiful and free. We had an excellent night's sleep. What a pity the experience of lovely accommodation was spoiled by such a rude person on reception.

Le patron est d’une gentillesse infinie. Le monsieur du soir egalement. J’ai rarement rencontré d’aussi belles personnes dans un hotel.

La chambre agréable et propre. Le personnel accueillant et serviable

Ce fut un très bon séjour, même si c’était que pour une nuit. Tout était propre, spacieux, calme avec un parking fermé. Le personnel est très sympathique.
