Perfect location on the sea front. Staff were friendly and food was always good, better than normal pub food. The room was a good size but a little cluttered. Could have been a little cleaner. Dusty due to busy room. Parking was easy with a few reserved spaces. 2 beach robes was a fantastic touch!

Perfect place to stay for a romantic visit to Cornwall. Right by the sea and coast path. A traditional English country pub. Excellent food and a very well stocked bar with local beers, wines and spirits. Quaint, clean rooms with all the amenities. Every staff member we encountered was really friendly and helpful. What a great place to stay. The room was amazing and had everything you could need with a big comfy bed. The staff were brilliant even though they were very busy and was grateful they could squeeze us in for dinner. The outside views at the property are out of this world!

Stunning location, lovely room- comfortable, nicely decorated. Tasty food - we had a great dinner on the arrival day & breakfast on 2 days , everything was spot on. Nice location to have an evening dring and listen to the waves. Parking was available also which was a great bonus. Would recommend

Disappointing visit The staff was outstanding, especially Joanna, and the food was wonderful but for five nights we had no housekeeping and the heat was on only a couple hours in the late evening and the late morning. We were freezing each evening.

We probably stayed at the Hotel at an optimum time, as it had just been refurbished. Also some of the staff were new and had been well trained, so service was great. Internally the hotel had been refurbished in an appropriate way, in keeping with the Port and retaing all the best original features. We were extremely lucky with the weather and enjoyed having our breakfast outside! The only samml issue was the small patio adjoing the room had not be spruced up or the outdoor furniture chusions cleaned.

Beautiful location, great views out to sea and along the coast. Easy walking around the area. Very nice room, lovely and clean. Ate at the pub restaurant, great food, friendly welcoming staff. Will definitely be back. Thanks!

Quaint pub with beautiful rooms in a quiet part of Port Isaac. Loved the room and the comfy beds and pillows. Possibly the most comfortable bed Iv ever slept in. The room was clean and fresh and beautiful bathroom. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and was wonderful I could not fault this place at all.

We had a lovely large room. Bed was very comfortable. We had trouble with our shower but Jack helped us with that problem. When I checked in the lady at reception took my card details. When I was leaving luckily I checked my banking as I was charged again as I paid already with Expedia. They fixed it for me which was wonderful but the weekend reception should check on what they are doing. Otherwise it was a really lovely place to stay. Breakfast was really good and the staff were wonderful. Thankyou for a lovely stay.

The menu is not large so we didn't eat there the second night (found a great pizza place on the walk into Port Isaac). Beer was good as you'd expect at a St Austell pub, though with Cornish prices! Breakfast was very good. But it's definitely a Pub with Rooms rather a Hotel! Different staff were on the three days we were there, so no recognition that we were residents, no tab permitted, felt a bit cold. With a warmer welcome and a broader menu it could be 5*.

I loved the location, just down the hill from Port Isaac. My room could use some attention though as the window would not stay open (no air con) and my door wouldn't lock. Staff were lovely. Loved the biscuits in the coffee service in my room.

Food options were good beds comfortable. Duvet tog was very high for Summer linen. Had to remove duvet from cover and just sleep under cover as there was no alternative. This was not during the highest heat days either as it rained each day. Pillows were supportive and comfortable.

Set in a beautiful location right by a pretty little beach. This hotel is hard to beat. Wonderful friendly staff who were all so helpful. Special thanks to Luke for taking extra care over my dietary requirements due to being coeliac and to Jack the manger for your kindness. Extra bonus points for selling Bath Gem gluten free beer! We absolutely loved our stay and we couldnt recommend this hotel highly enough. We cant wait to visit again. Thank you.

It was amazing, lovely room, spacious with a nice bath! The staff were very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely stop here again if we are in the area, and we would highly recommend it to others who are thinking of making a trip here.

Staff very friendly and service was good. Room very comfortable. However the main challenge was before we even arrived, when Expedia failed to transfer to the hotel the money I paid up front. Had to make too many phone calls to resolve the issue

I loved the location, just down the hill from Port Isaac. My room could use some attention though as the window would not stay open (no air con) and my door wouldn't lock. Staff were lovely. Loved the biscuits in the coffee service in my room.

Beautiful location, great views out to sea and along the coast. Easy walking around the area. Very nice room, lovely and clean. Ate at the pub restaurant, great food, friendly welcoming staff. Will definitely be back. Thanks!

We received a very warm welcome and info about the hotel which is very clean and beautifully decorated. Our room was a good size, very stylish and well appointed with comfy double bed and crisp white linen, two easy chairs, coffee maker, TV etc and even two padded waterproof coats to use for early morning strolls or inclement weather. It’s only a short walk uphill from the hotel to bustling Port Isaac but so good to return and have a quiet drink watching the sun go down over Port Gaverne.

Had a good 2 night stay here. Room was comfortable, smart and clean, if a little on the small size. A view of the sea and the sound of the waves was lovely. The menu is not large so we didn't eat there the second night (found a great pizza place on the walk into Port Isaac). Beer was good as you'd expect at a St Austell pub, though with Cornish prices! Breakfast was very good. But it's definitely a Pub with Rooms rather a Hotel! Different staff were on the three days we were there, so no recognition that we were residents, no tab permitted, felt a bit cold. With a warmer welcome and a broader menu it could be 5*.

Set in a beautiful location right by a pretty little beach. This hotel is hard to beat. Wonderful friendly staff who were all so helpful. Special thanks to Luke for taking extra care over my dietary requirements due to being coeliac and to Jack the manger for your kindness. Extra bonus points for selling Bath Gem gluten free beer! We absolutely loved our stay and we couldnt recommend this hotel highly enough. We cant wait to visit again. Thank you.

Great place to stay, the room was clean good size and very comfortable. The only problem with the restaurant is what to choose, it's very tasty. The staff are fantastic and need mentioning Theresa, Chantelle, Po and Josh and all the team.

Lovely aspect looking out over the harbour. Clean and tidy but the room was very hot. We slept with the door onto the terrace open all night and a fan going. Otherwise, a nice place to stay.

I loved this place. The room (and the rest of the building) was beautiful. Even though the room was very small, it worked out very well for us. There was an excellent fan, since it was quite warm. The bathroom was a good size, and the one issue we had with the toilet got fixed immediately. The staff was also helpful to keep a few things in the fridge. Only thing missing in the room would have been a mini fridge. I also loved the little village, beach, the pub and food, and walking around the cliffs in the area. Would definitely come back.
