The hotel was clean, staff was pleasant and helpful, however, the RV park needs to be cleaned up - it appeared to us that the long term RVers should be made to keep their site picked up. If these are not long-term guests, then facilities/management should be more detailed orientated and request cleanup. It was distributing to see the RV site in a mess.

I have no issues with this hotel. It is located in McGregor, TX which is a small, rural community, located about 20 minutes SW of Waco. I used the Buy Now, Pay Later service called Zip (formerly QuadPay) to book this room and had no issues. They also didn't have a problem with another party checking into this room prior to my arrival, provided they knew ahead of time. They offer clean rooms, clean bedding, have good water pressure and provide a quiet, no-frills experience. A small sundry and vending machine is located in the lobby. There are signs indicating when breakfast hours are, but I'm unsure what type of breakfast they offer. I didn't rate the service or location because I never interacted with the hotel staff and I didn't travel out of the area to have an opinion on how the location fared

Generally okay but a few problems. Breakfast was absolutely minimal: coffee and sugary cereal. Hotel is 2 story but has no elevators for elderly. Of course all 1st floor rooms were unavailable. Pool was not clean for a summer visit.

I would never stay there it was not at all what I thought it was it was nasty and you could smell nasty food smells coming from the rooms the room look like they found the furniture in an ally Just disgusting.

The entire hotel room smelled like mildew. The beds were not comfortable and they bedding looked 100 years old. The door lock would not lock properly from the inside. I decided to leave because I didn’t feel Dad’s.

Bed bugs. I was eaten alive. I didn’t get a good nights rest. Place and dirty and stunk. I was out of hrs for DOT so I couldn’t ask for my money back because I couldn’t go anywhere else.

It took 20 minutes to check in. No one was at the front desk. When my son and I finally got the room, the card didn’t work. Once we finally got to our room, we learned it was a smoking room. There was no mention of this. The whole hotel smelled like weed and cigarettes. The room was very dirty, the remote was chewed up by maybe a baby or dog? The sheets felt rough and unclean. The bathroom was very dirty. We left 10 minutes after we checked in and just went home.

Lackluster hotel that was all that was available for the weekend. After check in, went to room and not what I reserved. Got a new room when I stood my ground. It was ok. Had what we needed, but wouldn't stay there again unless there were no other options again.

Some of the most unfriendly staff I have ever encountered, the young lady at my check in especially. The rooms are ok for the price, but I was in a room where the heater did not work. I called the front desk and was told they would be bringing a space heater. I asked why I would not be moved to another room. Finally that rude girl came to the door and said they would be moving me. The young man on that was at the desk the following morning was extremely polite and helpful, but at checkout, another rude young girl just like the one the night before.

I have no issues with this hotel. It is located in McGregor, TX which is a small, rural community, located about 20 minutes SW of Waco. I used the Buy Now, Pay Later service called Zip (formerly QuadPay) to book this room and had no issues. They also didn't have a problem with another party checking into this room prior to my arrival, provided they knew ahead of time. They offer clean rooms, clean bedding, have good water pressure and provide a quiet, no-frills experience. A small sundry and vending machine is located in the lobby. There are signs indicating when breakfast hours are, but I'm unsure what type of breakfast they offer. I didn't rate the service or location because I never interacted with the hotel staff and I didn't travel out of the area to have an opinion on how the location fared

Generally okay but a few problems. Breakfast was absolutely minimal: coffee and sugary cereal. Hotel is 2 story but has no elevators for elderly. Of course all 1st floor rooms were unavailable. Pool was not clean for a summer visit.

The hotel building and the furniture in my room are on the older side, but everything is very well maintained. That didn’t bother me for a second. What’s important to me is that the room was really clean. Although I would personally prefer hardwood or laminate flooring, the room itself was very well kept. My room key card was easily deactivated after sitting next to my wallet and credit cards, according to the staff. But that’s really irrelevant—they fixed it within a minute without asking any questions. I’m mentioning it only as a note for future guests: keep the key card away from credit cards or other possible sources of magnetism. The newly installed Smart TV, at least I assume it was new, was a little harder to figure out at first. All in all, I strongly recommend this place. Afan P.

Needed a quick one night stay. Had an event in Gatesville early the next morning. Did not do bkft at the hotel. But it was set up at 6am on a Saturday morning. Nicely surprised at this property. Very clean, well maintained, nice simple decor. It's a renovated older hotel. Open areas all around the structure, good visibility, good lighting, quiet room. Didn't realize the room next to us was occupied. Old fashioned service ie-the bill was taped to the door the morning of departure. We've stayed at other places in this price point that struggle. We plan to use this hotel again.
