This was a motel, but it seemed to be family-owned and loved and cared for by the owners. There was broken appliances and no trash laying around like I've seen at other motels, and no shady characters when we checked in late at night. The king-size mattress was comfortable, but the bedspread and blanket were thin. They need to be upgraded to a thicker comforter for warmth. The 3 pillows on the bed were not king-size pillows, but were clean and fluffy. Unfortunately with 2 people, only 1 person gets the 3rd pillow as a back-rest. The air conditioning worked well. There was a decent kitchenette with table & chairs, microwave, and fridge. There was a black-out curtain. It was quiet, but we only stayed on Sunday morning. There was plenty of parking, with lots of truck parking out in the dirt. But a lot of the trucks were gone when we woke up and we didn't even hear them all leave. So the room was pretty quiet! (Although I did wear earplugs.)

We spent most of our stay visiting family. This property provided us with a good night's rest. I felt secure with the well lit parking area. The housekeeping services met our needs. The room had facilities to make our own food/beverages.Our dog was allowed to stay with us on this property. That was important to us.

First room I was give wasnt even cleaned and ready. I did not even walk into the room as I opened the door you could see there was food on the bed, bed not made, floor were nasty. Oh and dont even park incorrectly manager will be on you like white on rice.

We enjoyed our stay here! We liked that it was very illuminated at night time !! It was cleaned and comfortable. Service was great as well. We will definitely stay here again if we’re in Statesboro.

What I assume was the owner was friendly and welcoming while the front desk staff was not friendly or welcoming at all. The room was very outdated and doesn't look like the pictures and there was a weird smell. However the owner/housekeeping did take care of you and made sure you had anything you needed. Also there were lots of cameras for safety.

It was two male receptionist at the desk when I arrived and the Indian male was extremely rude when I asked him a question about their additional fees not being on Expedia or atleast at their reception desk like other hotels. He took this as disrespect & said he didn’t have to put anything on Expedia if he didn’t want to, & said he would cancel my reservation if I didn’t like it. I took a few minutes to decide it over since he was very rude but I wasn’t alone & decided it was best to stay for the sake of my partner being with me. After receiving my key card for the room he told me that check out was an hour ahead of time that I had been on Expedia. Later that night I heard some noise in the parking lot & not long after a strong smell permeated close to the room, upon going outside to smoke my cigar since I had been woken up but really jus to check what was going on it seemed as if there was a party one the other side of the parking lot hosted by the rude male receptionist that I had seen earlier. It wasn’t a bad smell jus cooked food but it was strong enough to linger for the duration of their get together.

Came into town for the game..picked this place because EVERYONE was sold out. Guys this place was 💯. Cleanliness was on point Inside was remodeled and looked great. It's an dee building but the rooms were top notch, don't be fooled by the outside. I won't say other hotels by name but this place was way cleaner. Has a kitchenette which was great. The staff looks like it's family owned and they were so nice! Will be staying next time.

There was nothing unique about this property. It was in front of a horrible trailer park. The building is very ugly and not in great shape. Rust on the steps and everywhere you go. Stuff hanging off. The room is less than average. The sockets don't work. They have two little bars of soap in the room, that's it! I asked if there was shampoo and he said no they don't carry any. And it was the graduation of Georgia Southern so he said that's why they're charging $175 for this place. That is a $50 a night at best price. I will admit the bed and pillows we're comfortable. However the sheets don't fit well so in the middle of the night you got wrinkles all up and down your legs. The fridge had water sitting inside. I could go on and on...

The owners run this business and they are swindlers. They are dishonest people. I went there solely for relaxation just to chill. I get there and the lady tells me oh i need a $60 Deposit. So Im like it does not say that. But its a reasonable request though. So I get my phone and put the money in my account to give them the deposit the man comes in and say how much cash i got. So he say give him the cash. Then he wont give me a reciept. So now a damper throwed in because im short $40 till i check out AND Im worried if im gone get my deposit back because why not give me a receipt. They acting mighty suspicious.Now I booked through expedia and paid with affirm. I asked affirm for $110 to spend with expedia not knowing how much it would be. But expedia charge was like $96. They charged me the whole $110. I always ask affirm over what i need but the other businesses have always given the over back. They tried to get a $123. This was from the start. I saw on the app when I was in the room but Im thinking its a deposit. Like I said no reciept. But regardless they did not honor the expedia price and never intended to. So using expedia was a waste of time. They cant say that I did anything to the room. The bedding had holes in it. The sheets was dirty. At checkout time there is nobody in the office. So I sit there and no one never comes. I finally go outside and knock on the door that says private. He does give me my deposit back but still no reciept.

The sheets were filled with stains. The floor was dirty. The smoke detector had spider webs on it. The room had a bad odor. The restroom was not cleaned very well. Overall this was a last resort because we were home for a funeral. I would not stay here again.

There was a $40 pet fee not mentioned here and not posted at the property. The room smelled like urine. The sheets were dirty & filled with holes. The walls, ceiling, and floors were covered in dirt, mold, rust, and other unidentified substances. The towels had literal feces dried onto them. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The fridge and microwave were disgusting and unusable. These issues were brought to the attention of motel staff & no resolution was offered. Not even an apology.

The hotel is older and not updated but did have all I needed except a USB plug but I managed. It had been repainted but not professionally. The kitchenette burners were in rough shape but I had no plans to cook. For the price it was clean and served the purpose I needed it for.

We were in town for the Southern Miss football game at Georgia Southern. This is an older property that has been renovated quite nicely. Excellent customer service with good beds and showers. We highly recommend this surprising find.

We came to visit my sister at Georgia southern and stayed here for the weekend. If you have any type of breathing issues do not stay here. The smoking rooms will choke you out and the nonsmoking rooms still smell of smoke. My husband has asthma so we had to be moved away from the smoking rooms it was better than where we were before and luckily we were only there to sleep.

Was told before arriving that I could get early check in. Upon arriving from out of town, I was told I couldn’t check in until 30 min after regular time. Toilet didn’t work. When I called about it I was told maintenance wasn’t there so not sure how they could help. Someone finally came up to fix but after they left it had the same problem. Room is in poor condition and felt unsafe to stay there as a single woman. Do not recommend.

Enjoyed the updated bathroom and the king size bed was very comfortable. Even though the property is by a main highway, it was quiet inside the room. We slept well every night of our stay.

The owners run this business and they are swindlers. They are dishonest people. I went there solely for relaxation just to chill. I get there and the lady tells me oh i need a $60 Deposit. So Im like it does not say that. But its a reasonable request though. So I get my phone and put the money in my account to give them the deposit the man comes in and say how much cash i got. So he say give him the cash. Then he wont give me a reciept. So now a damper throwed in because im short $40 till i check out AND Im worried if im gone get my deposit back because why not give me a receipt. They acting mighty suspicious.Now I booked through expedia and paid with affirm. I asked affirm for $110 to spend with expedia not knowing how much it would be. But expedia charge was like $96. They charged me the whole $110. I always ask affirm over what i need but the other businesses have always given the over back. They tried to get a $123. This was from the start. I saw on the app when I was in the room but Im thinking its a deposit. Like I said no reciept. But regardless they did not honor the expedia price and never intended to. So using expedia was a waste of time. They cant say that I did anything to the room. The bedding had holes in it. The sheets was dirty. At checkout time there is nobody in the office. So I sit there and no one never comes. I finally go outside and knock on the door that says private. He does give me my deposit back but still no reciept.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Fridge and microwave great for length of stay. Property is not in the "garden district" of town, but it's location is convenient to almost anything else one can do in Statesboro. All in all, a very good value for the price.

It was two male receptionist at the desk when I arrived and the Indian male was extremely rude when I asked him a question about their additional fees not being on Expedia or atleast at their reception desk like other hotels. He took this as disrespect & said he didn’t have to put anything on Expedia if he didn’t want to, & said he would cancel my reservation if I didn’t like it. I took a few minutes to decide it over since he was very rude but I wasn’t alone & decided it was best to stay for the sake of my partner being with me. After receiving my key card for the room he told me that check out was an hour ahead of time that I had been on Expedia. Later that night I heard some noise in the parking lot & not long after a strong smell permeated close to the room, upon going outside to smoke my cigar since I had been woken up but really jus to check what was going on it seemed as if there was a party one the other side of the parking lot hosted by the rude male receptionist that I had seen earlier. It wasn’t a bad smell jus cooked food but it was strong enough to linger for the duration of their get together.

The walls, ceiling, and floors were covered in dirt, mold, rust, and other unidentified substances. The towels had literal feces dried onto them. The bed was extremely uncomfortable. The fridge and microwave were disgusting and unusable. These issues were brought to the attention of motel staff & no resolution was offered. Not even an apology.

We were in town for the Southern Miss football game at Georgia Southern. This is an older property that has been renovated quite nicely. Excellent customer service with good beds and showers. We highly recommend this surprising find.

Arrived at the location started checking in with a young lady and almost immediately a management lady came from the back and took over like she didn’t trust the other employee to check me in. She was rude and had a terrible attitude and didn’t want to give me a receipt for a cash deposit. I demanded and she finally gave it. Got to the room and instantly smelled marijuana. The smell was in the room the entire stay. I called the front desk and the owner came to investigate but to no avail. I told him I would call the police if he couldn’t get them to stop. He was only able to get them to smoke it outside on the balcony. Which didn’t help at all. This place is poorly maintained and managed. Save your money and time when visiting this location.
