Overall good. Not a fan of the communal breakfast but that’s because I’m grumpy in the morning :). Comfortable bed and shower was great.

Amazing hosts, a very warm welcome, so kind and helpful. Room large and clean, couldn't ask for more. Fantastic breakfast also. We totally enjoyed our stay, thanks so much!

Big country house in which all three b&b rooms have a view to the front, which is lovely. The rooms are clean, bright and country-style comfortable; mine had a large bed, good quality bedding and an adjoining bathroom with decent shower/hot water, but complimentary shower products in sachets are always a bugbear of mine - usually too difficult to open if you haven’t brought scissors. I gave up. Luckily there were also some mini bottles of stuff. So from a comfort point of view, the room was good. What was strange - and I wasn’t sure whether to include this but it did really jar with me - was the welcome. It maybe feels unfair to judge a b&b on the friendliness of the hosts because staff being professionally detached can seem pretty normal for a hotel. But here, where you need to interact directly with them, it was immediately odd. Zero interest in you as a guest, no pleasantries at all when you arrive, rather you are shown up to your room and immediately ‘processed’. I was a bit taken aback. The hosts asks open questions, eg “What time would you like breakfast?” and when you say 9am would be great, replies that you can’t have breakfast at 9, as they only serve between 8 and 8:45. Same for “What would you like for breakfast?” I asked for a cheese omelette and was met with a long cool stare followed by: “I’ll have to see if I can manage that”. In summary, perfectly good accommodation, but don’t expect a warm welcome.

A beautiful idealic farmhouse nestled in the countryside with picturesque views and ample scenic walks. Upon arrival the hosts were very welcoming and made it feel less of a bed and breakfast and more like visiting friends. It was clear to see the owners take great pride in their house as walking through to my room it was very clean and well presented. The room was just as advertised and much like the rest of the property well presented and clean. Amenities were plenty and top ups were readily available. I honestly haven't slept as well as I did in a very long time. Once the lights were turned off there was no light pollution and it was deafly quite par the odd hoot of an owl which was a welcome change from the city scene I'm used to. Unfortunately I wasn't able to experience breakfast due to early arrangements, however I did view the breakfast room which looked very well presented. A front door key was provided along with my room key which made coming and going much more relaxed and just added to the homely feel. Overall I'd highly recommend this establishment would say this is must stay if you ever find yourself visiting the area.

The hosts made me very welcome and the property is stunning! Situated in a beautiful location. Breakfast was freshly cooked and delicious. Would definitely like to stay there again.
