Had a great stay. It was clean, had everything I needed, and the staff was unbelievably accommodating when I had to check in late after the office closed. I highly recommend this motel and I will stay here again.

I used a wash cloth to wash the table legs and the vent in the bathroom there was no plug for the tub (the provided one when I asked) there was no powder creamer in the room I was unclear when the breakfast was available (earlier would be better) there was no kleenex (typically this is expected) I needed to stay late and I recognize the extra charge for not checking out by 11 (charged 25 per hour late) the service checking in was fabulous!

I chose Cardinal Court Motel after reading many positive reviews. I don't normally stay at drive-up motels, but the reviews and location made me feel confident about booking. My first impression was positive. The room appeared tidy, the property was reasonably well kept, and the staff were friendly. Unfortunately, the bathroom was a major disappointment. There was visible dirt along the baseboards, in the corners, and around the doorway. One of the bath towels had a black hair on it, and when I used a hand towel to dry my face after washing it, it had an unpleasant odour. When I inspected the shower, the shower curtain also had a strong odour, was discoloured, and felt old and worn. The bathtub and shower didn't appear clean or sanitary, so my friend and I chose not to shower. The beds were okay, but the pillows were small and uncomfortable. For me, cleanliness and comfort are my highest priorities, and this motel fell short in both areas. Upon check-in, I found it unusual that I wasn't asked to provide a security deposit. I was also told that breakfast would be served the next morning, but not what was included. I could have asked, but I think that's information guests would normally be given at check-in. The driveway and entrance were also very dark at night, and we almost didn't see a child riding a scooter. Overall, while the staff were pleasant, the lack of cleanliness, especially in the bathroom, means I wouldn't stay here again or recommend it.

Exceeded our expectations! Beautifully maintained property and room, along with excellent customer service! Short scenic drive to St Thomas and Port Stanley. Will definitely book again!
