The house cleaning person was very helpful with any of our needs she was very pleasant to deal with

It was a quaint historical inn in a beautiful woodland setting. The check in was a little tricky, but the staff member Marion was very friendly and helpful. Our rooms were very clean, quiet and spacious. I will be staying here again in the future.

I will come back again in the future

Place needs a lot of work. Exterior of inn needs a total makeover from roof to foundation. Our room the king room needs renovation. Our toilet had not been cleaned there was urine and hair on the bowl and floor. Never received a text to let us know how to check in so that was an adventure. No staff on property and no air conditioning. When we went to bed our room temperature was 78. The owner or owners are certainly not reinvesting in this property.

We ended up not staying the night. There was no on site staff. The room was cold, you couldn’t adjust the temperature. The bathroom door didn’t close. The water was ice cold, even after running for 10 or so minutes, as the contact person told us to do. We booked the room with the hot tub, which wasn’t usable, so they put us in a room with a jacuzzi tub, not the same thing. Lastly there was a fitted sheet on the bed, but no top sheet under the comforter, which didn’t feel like luxury bedding as advertised. The place has potential to be really nice.
