Everything about this property is awesome! Beautiful, safe, and oh so comfortable. The staff was amazing. We loved the walking trails, the rock garden and the outdoor space. Convienently located to Kauffman stadium. The experience was more than we could have expected

Beautiful gem of a hotel!! Best service I have ever received at a hotel check in. Super quiet, clean, peaceful, and beautiful facility. No pool, but the grounds are so gorgeous that it didnt even matter! The courtyard with the fountains, architecture of the buildings, landscaping, and the labrynth were so fun to walk around. Rock garden and litle bridges were a hit with my daughter. Loved the cafe with artwork and GF options!! Great place to stop if driving by Kansas Coty. Was an added attraction to our trip!

This is hands down one of the CLEANEST, nicest, most accommodating hotel I’ve EVER stayed in. Staff was happy and friendly every day. We were here for a week. Every hotel executive in the industry to stay here at least one night and model their business after Unity. Rooms were quiet, spacious and well appointed. The goose down comforters on the bed were my favorite. The breakfast, tea/coffee bar and daily fruit water were added touches that make this place far superior to others. You far surpass 5 star hotels we have stayed in. I have family in KC, We will be back!

The hotel staff was very friendly and our hotel room was very spacious and clean. The beds were terrible. They don’t have any rooms with king size beds, just two “queen” size beds per room. I put queen in quotation because the beds seemed more like full size. My husband and I could not comfortably sleep in the same bed. And we’re not large people. The mattresses were rock hard. We had the two worst sleep nights while staying there. The bathroom was very clean but a little dated. The shower head was so small, it didn’t wash my whole body without me moving around. And again, I’m a small person. There’s a cafe on the property that is supposed to have good coffee but it’s only open M-F, not on weekends. That seems a bit odd to me, it seems like the weekends would be the busiest times. This hotel had great reviews which is why I chose it. I was very disappointed. I would not stay here again.

This is a great, quiet spot to get away from the hustle & bustle of the city. All the construction around it is why I gave “area around the property” 4 stars instead of the 5 stars that I gave everything else but once that’s completed, I can’t find anything to complain about. I stayed 3 nights and never came close to running into any issues. Highly recommended. I’d like to specifically to mention an employee there, Rose. She was there to check me in quickly. I had requested an early check-in & my room was all ready for me upon arrival. Rose was around often to always offer a warm smile & an “enjoy your day!” when I saw her.

This was my first time staying at Unity Village & Hotel. The property was so beautiful and the room was very nice too. The breakfast was nice and hot each day which was perfect for my daughter and her friends. The staff was very friendly and always professional. On our last day, checking out, it was nice chit chatting with Christian at the front desk. We had a funny conversation about football (and how I liked the Raiders). LOL Christian had a great personality and was also nice enough to take pictures of me, my daughter and her friends for our memories of the trip. After we left heading back home, we realized my daughter’s friend left her water bottle in the hotel lobby. I called the hotel back and Christian answered. After explaining everything, Christian said someone from the team would call me the next morning (a Monday) with shipping options to send me the water bottle. Well, I was pleasantly surprised when we received the water bottle in the mail that Wednesday! That’s SO nice of Christian and the hotel staff for shipping the water bottle. That type of customer service spoke volumes about Christian and the Unity Village & Hotel staff. You have definitely earned a new customer. I couldn’t wait to tell my husband. Now, we have a new hotel to stay at when in Kansas City, MO! Thank you so much!

Quiet hotel close to many things. Clean hotel, friendly service. I didn't have the complimentary breakfast but my husband said it was much better than other hotels we've been to. Would stay again.

Very very comfy and clean room and property. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Beautiful grounds, must be amazing in the summer. Very good stay!

Friendly staff. Not part of the building shown on website. It’s a tiny building in a parking lot, signage hard to find. Beds comfortable. Very clean. Very quiet. You must drive to restaurants close by. No room service. Breakfast bland and basic.

If you’re looking for a nice quiet and clean hotel with great free breakfast options then this is the hotel to choose. We came in for a Chiefs game. Everything was clean, no smells or stains and NO bugs of any kind. I was happy with our stay, large campus area to explore as well.

Room was SUPER CLEAN, very comfortable. The breakfast was great, my wife had GF options. Location was central to the conference we were attending. Would highly recommend, and would stay there again.

This hotel is on a religious complex but feels just like a hotel. Breakfast was good and everything was clean. It was very quiet and pretty. I would definitely stay here again!

The grounds surrounding the historic buildings were immaculate and picturesque. It would be a beautiful place to host an event and take magical pictures, We had fun exploring with the grandchildren. However the hotel itself needs updating. The staff was very friendly and helpful but a few things were dissapointing. The beds were very uncomfortable. I had to cut our visit short so that was very disappointing. Wished I could have spent all the time in the common spaces that were so peaceful but after full days we needed a goodnight sleep and we felt we got short end with hard beds. They had wonderful front desk and very helpful staff.

What i liked best was the hotel appears to be all one level. 1st floor rooms mean nobody running or stomping while you try to sleep.

Everything in the room was high quality. This hotel is different than most others. It’s like it’s a “ not for profit” hotel made for Unity menbers and other lucky attendees who happen to find it. Don’t spread the word because that could mean people would come who wouldn’t respect the ambiance.

Very unique place, not a hotel feel. Property was immense and only a small portion is hotel. Room walls were adorned with large inspirational words. We had a problem with our tv and the staff was extremely diligent in trying to solve it and ultimately moved us to another (nicer) room. The breakfast had some allergy friendly options. We also enjoyed the nature trail on site.
