The facilities included in the hotel are not open. This is our baby moon. We came with expectations. My husband was excited about hot tub, but it is closed. In the pictures it looked our room will have a bathtub and I booked this hotel because the room would have a bathtub but it didn’t. It’s hard to feel comfortable when I’m 8 months pregnant :( Also, it says open buffet breakfast, but it’s grab and go breakfast :( I feel misled.

They have a nice walking trail that takes you down to the Sister Bay area. They have a lot of things to keep you occupies, pickle ball court, volley ball, shuffle ball court etc. Hot tub is nice, pool was closed for the season.

Very welcoming stay at this quiet tucked away hotel. The grounds were immaculate and the pool area was kept clean with towels and water close by. The room was updated nicely decorated and very clean. Nice variety of breakfast food. Definitely will stay here again.

It was mine and my partner’s first time around Door County, and this resort helped solidify why the region is so beloved for tourists! Absolutely amazing value for the amenities you get at the resort! Tennis/ pickleball court, bikes and kayaks available and a wonderful trail to get to town by the lake! The room was wonderful and cozy— with some of the best hotel robes ever! 😄 Truly want to come back again, thank you for a wonderful experience!

What a wonderful place! I have stayed in many places in the Door County area, but this was a surprise. The building itself may be just a tad older, but you'll be completely SURPRISED by all the wonderful updates in your room!! The shower is awesome and the rooms wonderful. I was pleasantly surprised by the great curtains (very chic). And of course the view is awesome. Pool, hottub, breakfast, games, path to lake. Just wonderful!

Beautiful property! Pool, hot tub, pickleball. The view is gorgeous of the bay with fountains spraying. Good breakfast. Short walk thru the woods shortcut to town for shopping and dining. Room was immaculate. Would definitely stay here again!

75 year old facility that's has been wonderfully modernize while keeping the bones of the original structure. Very comfortable, Good staff, pretty grounds and great location in door county. One of the few places in door county that offers breakfast. Bathroom could have been a bit cleaner. Definitely deserves a return trip. Loved our stay.

Beautiful views from the room. Staff was friendly. The only things I didnt like were that the breakfast was a bag breakfast. The shower ran out of hot water quickly.

For an older lodge, this place is great. Seemingly recent updates to rooms. Great water views. **Bed was less than desireable, but i have a tempurpedic mattress at home so i am a bit spoiled. Very Hospitable. Dog friendly, no children under 12. Visited in off season so very quiet on the week nights. Door county is a unique place. We have stayed in some exquisite places and some very undesirable places. Not a large chain. The management was very discriptive of their processes and proceedures that may vary from normal lodging. I believe in clear expectations, so this was incredibly helpful.

This place sits on some lovely acreage and overlooks the bay. The area is quiet and rooms were quite nice. They are finishing up some renovations and the updates are just perfect. Breakfast on the weekends, while not fancy, was definitely filling. During the week it's grab and go breakfast, but with good options, some to heat up in the microwave, some cold breakfast options. Fruit was always available. You can walk to town on the road or get there on the path through the forest. We walked to a lot of places in town from this spot. The staff was so friendly and nice, too!

Generally a great experience, but at $300/nite, it would be nice to get decent coffee and a better breakfast buffet. Also, the AC is difficult to operate. We couldn't get the fan to work without AC, so the only option was to leave the patio door open - not our first choice with a ground floor room. One year we were told the AC does not function when it is under a certain temperature outside. We did not confirm that was the reason why we could not get the fan to work this time. But again, at $300/nite, the guest should have AC, heat, fan, or whatever else they want to keep comfortable.

Country House Resort was a great place to stay at. Just minutes from downtown Sister Bay. They are currently remodeling the front desk area, but already starting to take shape and looking great. Staff is amazing, friendly, and very helpful.Hope to get a chance to stay here sometime over a summer.

Our room provided a great view of the lake. The 10 minute walk along the lake and thru the woods to town was a wonderful way to get to / from dinner. The staff is very attentive. The grounds are very welcoming. We plan to go back!

This resort is one of the best in the Sister Bay area. It is off the beaten path but only minutes away from town center wand restaurants and other attractions. It’s a winner!

Loved the staff and the location. If you’re fit enough to handle the hill, walking into sister bay is convenient. Will stay there again for sure.

The property is 2 min outside of Sister Bay's shopping area. Nestled in the bluffs above Sister Bay it has great views of the lake from your own private balcony. It was quiet and relaxing. Friendly staff and our room and the property were clean and well taken care of. We already booked next year in the same room.

This place sits on some lovely acreage and overlooks the bay. The area is quiet and rooms were quite nice. They are finishing up some renovations and the updates are just perfect. Breakfast on the weekends, while not fancy, was definitely filling. During the week it's grab and go breakfast, but with good options, some to heat up in the microwave, some cold breakfast options. Fruit was always available. You can walk to town on the road or get there on the path through the forest. We walked to a lot of places in town from this spot. The staff was so friendly and nice, too!

Country House Resort is beautiful! The flowers, landscaping, fountains, and views are just gorgeous. The rooms are beautiful with very comfortable beds. The breakfast in the morning that is available for all the guests is plentiful and delicious. We will definitely plan on returning!

The grounds, gardens, fountains are so beautifully maintained. The water view as one of he best. The breakfast was so good, which we weren’t expecting. Staff is so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay there again.

Beautiful views from the room. Staff was friendly. The only things I didnt like were that the breakfast was a bag breakfast. The shower ran out of hot water quickly.

Very welcoming stay at this quiet tucked away hotel. The grounds were immaculate and the pool area was kept clean with towels and water close by. The room was updated nicely decorated and very clean. Nice variety of breakfast food. Definitely will stay here again.

As someone who visits Door County regularly, this was my first stay at this resort. It will certainly not be my last! We are already planning our next stay here. The room was beautiful and relaxing, and we had a great water view. The bed was so comfortable and breakfast was a nice treat. The only negative was the coffee served at breakfast was terrible. Serving regular drip coffee at breakfast would have made the stay perfect.

Generally a great experience, but at $300/nite, it would be nice to get decent coffee and a better breakfast buffet. Also, the AC is difficult to operate. We couldn't get the fan to work without AC, so the only option was to leave the patio door open - not our first choice with a ground floor room. One year we were told the AC does not function when it is under a certain temperature outside. We did not confirm that was the reason why we could not get the fan to work this time. But again, at $300/nite, the guest should have AC, heat, fan, or whatever else they want to keep comfortable.

The grounds are lovely with plenty of places outdoors to relax and play, although path to water is long and steep. Our beds were so comfortable and the showers were amazing. Lovely view of Sister Bay from our covered deck. Room amenities were great. They do allow dogs and many guests had well behaved dogs. Because the grounds are so peaceful the sound carries, thus, while we could not see our neighbors on our balcony their loud voices and less well behaved dogs caused us not to want to sit on our balcony or leave just the screen door shut. Other neighbors were much quieter.

My wife and I spent a wonderful long weekend here. Walked to Sister's Bay Village and back several times, enjoying the sights, sounds and eateries. The sunrise is breathtaking! Breakfast was excellent! Enjoyed both the hot tub and swimming pool! Highly recommend this place!!
