Clean, safe and spacious room. Updated and very nice accommodation. The owner met me and carried my luggage up the stairs. Located on the top floor of the building. No elevator, so not suitable for people with limited mobility.

オーナーが親切＆立地が良い スプリットのバスターミナル、駅、フェリーポートからのアクセスが良く、旧市街東門のすぐ近くのホテルで、観光に最高の立地です。 ただ部屋が建物の一番上で、部屋までの階段(4-5階分)が厳しい。窓からの景色が良いわけでもない。 オーナーがとても親切で、チェックインの時間を伝えておくと、スーツケースを運んでくれます。 部屋はとても清潔で設備も問題なく快適。入口にウォーターサーバー(無料)があり、とても助かりました。 旧市街まで30秒とアクセス抜群、価格もリーズナブルで観光に最適です。 あの階段の上り下りが地味に疲れるのが残念ポイント。 チェックアウトの際もオーナーが下までスーツケースを運んでくださり、笑顔で見送ってくれるなど最高の滞在でした。 階段が気にならない方は、おすすめのホテルです。 Friendly owner and good location With good access from Split's bus terminal, train station, and ferry port, the hotel is very close to the old city's east gate, making it the perfect location for sightseeing. A localização é excelente. Não tivemos dificuldade para achar o prédio, é logo na entrada da old town. O host nos deu todas as indicações necessárias e foi extremamente gentil no nosso check in. Nos ajudou a encontrar um lugar perfeito para estacionar o carro (free parking). O quarto era extremamente limpo e amplo. O único ponto é que são 3 andares de escada, não recomendado para muitas malas ou quem tem problema de mobilidade.

Wonderful stay in a great location! We were met at the parking lot where we could leave our car and walked directly to the room. Everything was perfect, in a great location, clean and tons of recommendations were given! Would highly recommend!

Hotel was perfect. Toni helped in anyway he could to make your stay as pleasant as possible. Water cooler just outside the room was a very nice touch.

The facility does not have an elevator. We were told the building is part of the UNESCO site and cannot be retrofitted with an elevator. We were fine with stairs but some people may need to consider this when choosing where to stay. The room was also the smallest of all the places we stayed in Croatia during our 10-day trip. We managed well since it was only me and my wife and we are very fit. The host Toni is a very nice guy and gave many excellent recommendations on restaurants and money exchange places. The location is excellent as we were right outside the wall of the old town. restroom facility is always an issue when traveling in Europe. We made a few breaks by walking back to our room instead of spending Euro on the restroom. It is also very close to the bus station and ferry port to go to adjacent islands. There is an open market right next to the facility and my wife shopped some local products there. It is a nice place to stay if one does not bother with the facts of no elevator and the small room.

Location was great. Close to centre of town, the port and the bus terminal. Only drawback is that there’s no elevator and the accomodation is on the 3rd floor. Apart from this everything else was perfect.

La Porta rooms were very clean. Staff were very friendly. Tony messaged a few days before to ask time of arrival and I was met at the rooms. The bed was very comfortable. There is not somebody there all the time but this was fine. Tony was contactable if you have an issues. The rooms are on the top floor. The rooms were in a very good position just across from the duplications palace. There were a number of supermarkets nearby. Lots of bars and restaurants. It was a short walk of 10 minutes to the port and same to the bus station to get the airport shuttle. The main bus station is 10 minutes the other way to get local buses to Omiš and Trogir.

This hotel was in a convenient location just outside of the palace and walkable to everything. The host was friendly and helped carry my suitcase up the 3 or 4 flights of stairs. (There is no elevator). The rooms were comfortable but mine smelled a bit musty. The alley area where the hotel entrance is was a bit shady, and the main door look wasn’t working. I honestly would put this at a 3 star property rather than 4 but my stay was good.

An exceptionally clean and lovely room. Great view from the window. Tony was very helpful during our stay, even meeting us to carry our heavy suitcase up the stairs when we arrived. Room could not be more central yet was soundproof with window closed. Very comfortable bed, nice shower and a lot of wardrobe space to hang things. All in all a great place to stay, very reasonably priced for split and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Our host Toni was very accomodating and let us check in early as the room was ready when we arrived. He communicated with us prior to arrival and was very helpful. The location was fantastic right next to the market and entrance to the old town. The room was clean and spacious.

Schöne zentrale lage mit toller aussicht. wer die 5 etage über treppen erreicht hat findet schöne saubere zimmer vor. Zimmer werden leider nicht täglich gereinigt ,wohl jeden 2 ,schlüsselübergabe endet um 22 uhr ,inhaber wartet aber gerne auch länger. Für Ältere wegen der 5 Treppen nicht empfehlenswert.sonst eine klare empfehlung. Lage ist Top würde es wieder buchen.

What can I say, Unreal property right next to the old town - less than a minute walk, we had the room with the balcony and the views were unreal! You could see the marina and Diocletians Palace. Toni, the host, was more than accommodating, even helped us bring our bags up which was very kind of him. We were a young couple so we didn’t mind the stairs up - there were a lot and no lift so be prepared! - it was definitely worth the walk up though, the room was clean to the touch. Would definitely stay again if ever in split! PS if the room with the balcony is available book it it’s worth the view!

My husband and I stayed here for a week in July and we had an incredible time. We booked the room with the balcony, which has an incredible view, and Tony was very helpful with carrying our bags up the stairs, providing restaurant and coffee shop recommendations, and with organising our room cleans. The accommodation is also in the heart of Split, so you have easy access to the palace, the marina, and the main market - we'd definitely stay again!

This is a great place to stay. It’s in a great location. We had a room with a balcony and a view over the sea and Diocletian’s Palace which was definitely worth paying a bit extra for. Toni, the owner, was very responsive. I would definitely recommend.

An exceptionally clean and lovely room. Great view from the window. Tony was very helpful during our stay, even meeting us to carry our heavy suitcase up the stairs when we arrived. Room could not be more central yet was soundproof with window closed. Very comfortable bed, nice shower and a lot of wardrobe space to hang things. All in all a great place to stay, very reasonably priced for split and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

The facility does not have an elevator. We were told the building is part of the UNESCO site and cannot be retrofitted with an elevator. We were fine with stairs but some people may need to consider this when choosing where to stay. The room was also the smallest of all the places we stayed in Croatia during our 10-day trip. We managed well since it was only me and my wife and we are very fit. The host Toni is a very nice guy and gave many excellent recommendations on restaurants and money exchange places. The location is excellent as we were right outside the wall of the old town. restroom facility is always an issue when traveling in Europe. We made a few breaks by walking back to our room instead of spending Euro on the restroom. It is also very close to the bus station and ferry port to go to adjacent islands. There is an open market right next to the facility and my wife shopped some local products there. It is a nice place to stay if one does not bother with the facts of no elevator and the small room.

Very nicely located! The service was excellent. We had the seaview room with the balcony. The room is generally quiet without street noise but I could hear the air conditioning from the building opposite. Not very loud but as I am very sensitive to noise, it did bother me a bit, I suppose, however, you will have some kind of noise in most place in the old town of Split. Breakfast is being served 100m away in the Luxor Cafe, excellent place with excellent location. This is a very small hotel, on the fourth floor of the building, 5 rooms. They help with the luggage but still not suitable if stairs are a problem for you.

What can I say, Unreal property right next to the old town - less than a minute walk, we had the room with the balcony and the views were unreal! You could see the marina and Diocletians Palace. Toni, the host, was more than accommodating, even helped us bring our bags up which was very kind of him. We were a young couple so we didn’t mind the stairs up - there were a lot and no lift so be prepared! - it was definitely worth the walk up though, the room was clean to the touch. Would definitely stay again if ever in split! PS if the room with the balcony is available book it it’s worth the view!

Location, Location, Location! Just steps from the entrance to Diocletian’s Palace. The room was on the top floor, which was a bit challenging for me as a senior citizen. Fortunately, Tony met me as I arrived- in the car for hire that he recommended and arranged- which was wonderfully convenient! He pointed out some key sites- and carried my suitcase all the way to the top floor- I got organized and headed out for the afternoon to explore the area and tour the palace. He came early the next morning to carry down my luggage- and helped me to the ferry dock. This is a great choice for anyone who is able to climb to the 4th floor- (with Tony carrying your bag)- it is perfectly located, clean and comfortable!

Fabulous location by gate into Diocletian Palace, close to cruise boats, market, restaurants and shops. Toni was very friendly and very helpful, he gave excellent advice about where to eat and shop. Very slight downside is It is on the 4th floor with no lift, but definitely worth it! I definitely recommend it.

This property was just across the street from the Diocletian palace in Split and a 5-10 minute walk to the ferry harbor. The host was very helpful and carried my suitcase up the 4 flights of stairs. Very nice place to stay.

Lovely room in a wonderful location in Old Town! So close to everything (shopping, restaurants, etc.), but once in the room, it was very quiet! Toni was a wonderful host! Great communication and extremely helpful! Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

La Porta rooms were very clean. Staff were very friendly. Tony messaged a few days before to ask time of arrival and I was met at the rooms. The bed was very comfortable. There is not somebody there all the time but this was fine. Tony was contactable if you have an issues. The rooms are on the top floor. The rooms were in a very good position just across from the duplications palace. There were a number of supermarkets nearby. Lots of bars and restaurants. It was a short walk of 10 minutes to the port and same to the bus station to get the airport shuttle. The main bus station is 10 minutes the other way to get local buses to Omiš and Trogir.

This hotel was in a convenient location just outside of the palace and walkable to everything. The host was friendly and helped carry my suitcase up the 3 or 4 flights of stairs. (There is no elevator). The rooms were comfortable but mine smelled a bit musty. The alley area where the hotel entrance is was a bit shady, and the main door look wasn’t working. I honestly would put this at a 3 star property rather than 4 but my stay was good.

The room was in a fantastic location within the old town and close to the port. Was perfect for our one night stay. Would definitely recommend to others. Toni was responsive and allowed us to drop our bags early and early checkin.

We had a lovely stay here. Toni’s communication before we arrived was excellent, messaging us whilst we were stuck in traffic to make sure we went to the right place. He recommended somewhere for us to have some traditional Croatian food, which was great. The rooms are a 10 minute walk from the parking, and up 7 sets of stairs, and there is no lift. In the summer heat this was challenging, but Toni couldn’t have been more helpful offering to help us with our bags. It was great to have the balcony room, overlooking Split, we used this lots. There is a supermarket, sandwich shop and bars all in the same block as the hotel. We’d recommend visiting Goudin Pigeria for food in the market just outside the rooms. Being located just outside the walls of Diocletian’s Palace meant we were close to the action of Split, but possibly a little quieter than staying inside the palace. If we returned to Split, we’d definitely stay here again.

Lovely room (number 1), not much of a view, but comfortable well equipped room, fabulous shower. Tony & his wife who manage the property are lovely people & very helpful & both work very hard! Good breakfast at nearby Luxor restaurant. Definitely recommend the property & would stay there again if travelling to Split.

Amazing stay for a few days in Split! Toni was absolutely fantastic with us, super responsive and willing to help. Climbing up the few floors of stairs helped us to stay fit during the trip ;) great location, and breakfast service right at the heart of the old town. Would super recommend!!

Our host Toni was very accomodating and let us check in early as the room was ready when we arrived. He communicated with us prior to arrival and was very helpful. The location was fantastic right next to the market and entrance to the old town. The room was clean and spacious.

We were greeted warmly by Tony who who runs the establishment and he is an extremely courteous and intelligent person. It was a pleasure to meet him and to meet his wife too. Tony helped us with our arrangements and is very knowledgeable about Split.

Very friendly host - Toni - and perfect room set up. A few steps outside of the Silver gate to old Split, so a perfect spot for exploring. Also really close to both bus stations so we could explore using both the Arriva andorr local buses. Would definitely stop there again.

We loved living at La Porta luxury rooms and Toni was such a nice and helpful host. The location of the hotel was perfect, only a 1-2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, restaurants, shops and everything else you could want. The room was clean, comfortable and the perfect size for two. Overall the experience was very good and we had a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Split!

The location of the hotel was perfect, only a 1-2 minute walk to the nearest bus stop, restaurants, shops and everything else you could want. The room was clean, comfortable and the perfect size for two. Overall the experience was very good and we had a lovely stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Split!

My friend and I stayed here for two nights and it was perfect. The location is amazing and close to everything you need. Toni was so helpful and we could even store our bags for a couple hours after we left. Highly recommend!
