Days Inn by Wyndham Cave City

Barely acceptable, room was fairly clean, broken fixtures in the bathroom( toilet paper holder broken, only one side on wall) pool was half full and GREEN! YUCK!

Front desk: The attendant was friendly at check in but we later realized we had no info about breakfast or the WiFi password. There was not an attendant at the desk when we left so we had to leave our key in a basket. I’m also not sure if there’s an elevator available. The room: I can say that I didn’t see any evidence of bed bugs but there was a dead beetle on the floor indicating to me they likely didn’t vacuum. The floor had multiple spots that sort of looked like the carpet had been burned. The bed was firm and uncomfortable, one of the comforters had holes burned into it. The wall behind one bed had a gross looking stain. The bathroom looked like it had been re-tiled recently but the tub needed replaced. No complaints about the sink area. I was thrown off that the room had both a mini fridge and a full sized fridge but I can see the convenience of the full sized fridge for someone staying longer. Pool: The pool was the reason we booked this hotel and I am grateful that this amenity was available. The pool area had seating and some shade provided. There were areas of the pool that obviously needed scrubbed (black grime) and there was someone there patching the pool while we swam. Breakfast: No complaints. Simple, easy, well-stocked. Seating close by. I didn’t have too high of expectations based on price but I really do think there were things that need improved, mostly in cleanliness. I likely wouldn’t stay here again but I didn’t feel like I couldn’t sleep there.

No reliable wifi. Password wasn't posted. 1-877 number given to troubleshoot was never answered; went to voicemail.

The property was clean, room clean. Newer shower. Carpet was worn & there was a stain on the ceiling. The pool wasn't open or operational which was why I had originally booked it so we only stayed 1 night. It was very affordable & convenient to the park & area attractions. I would rate it good value. An older property that could use an update.

Booked because there was a pool. Disappointed to arrive with two kids to find out the pool wasn’t working. Wouldn’t have stayed here if I knew that.

Lobby is under construction and shut down. You have to check in at room 101. No space if multiple guests are trying to check in.

The door was very hard to open- the manager had to show us how to specifically pull them push the handle to get it to unlatch. Maybe fix it??? Laundry facilities for guests were out of service, but manager suggested we go to their sister hotel a couple blocks away and use theirs. Which we did.

Absolutely disgusting. Blood in bed. Dead bugs on floor. Tv is smashed. Do not stay here

The room has molds. It was very stinky, smells horrible. We moved to another room and it was the same. Smells moldy and musty. They need to remove the carpet

Was wonderful and CLEAN

Arrival was fine. When I walked in the room it smelled terrible. But after returning from dinner tired and exhausted we found Bed Bugs !!! The girl at the front desk was nice but the room we got moved to actually was dirtier And smelled worse! Disgusting carpet looked scary!

The rooms were filthy and damaged.

Our room was not cleaned. Our 1 year old had found a McDonald's smoothie under the bed skirt and started to drink out of it. It had been there awhile because it starring to smell.

The outdoor pool was nice. The room smelled very musty, and the paint was chipping in the bathroom ceiling.

Days Inn is a solid economy level hotel. It's clean and comfortable, nothing special but the competitive price in a good location for the Cave City area.

Hotel was a little aged, beds were a little saggy. Close to Mammoth Caves National Park. Not a to. Of food options, but El Mazatlan restaurant was excellent!

Room was updated. Toilet handle was loose and caused toilet to run. If we was in the area again we would stay here.

the only thing is- the beds were NOT comfortable! So hard!! Our backs were hurting after we woke up. Other than fhat- everything was good

The room was clean and the bathroom was huge. The only issue I had was the walls are thin and I could here everything in the next room.

Location is good surroundings lot to choose from to eat etc and all walkable however the room its self was in need of repairs. bathroom door was stuck toilet rocked and the beds were uncomfortable and not level plus really not double beds

Room is clean and updated. Bed and pillows are very good. We had a problem with the Tv but it was fixed in an hour. Breakfast is beagle’s, cereal yogurt and apple. Worth the money we paid. We are happy we stayed.

Surprisingly good for the price. The room (and particularly the bathroom) was pretty large, reasonably maintained, conveniently located (no stairs or anything). Wi-fi felt slow at times, but overall worked well. Plenty of parking space. The staff was perfect, friendly and efficient. Check-in took a minutes, check-out - mere seconds. The breakfast is not diverse, but reasonable. On the other hand, the room could have been cleaned better. I found a piece of gum under the table desk, and some trash behind the TV stand. Why was I searching all those hidden places? To find a power plug for my laptop. The lack of power plugs was noticeable. I did find one behind the TV that was close enough to the only table, but it took some effort to get to it. Light switches are not intuitive. For example, the main bathroom switch only turns the shower lights and the shower switch is the main bathroom switch. Took me a while to understand that. The room has a microwave, a fridge and a tiny coffee maker, but no dishes or spoons or anything to microwave in. Had to improvise and go to front desk and ask for a spoon (which I got, to their credit). So overall, there is a room for improvement, but overall not bad at all.

I have been watching my checking account since we got home on Saturday, September 21, and I see a debit from Days Inn at Cave City for $62.02. I’ve waited for it to reverse itself and it has not. When we first arrived, we could not get Wi-Fi in our room (room 130). I kept going back to the front desk to try to get the situation resolved. I could get onto the Wi-Fi at the reception area but not in the room. The young lady at the reception desk was very understanding. Finally, we were given another room in which the Wi-Fi worked.

Terrible. My wife and I arrive around midnight, exhausted from attending a local festival, and when I tried to check in, they refused us service, and would not let us stay at all! They said it was because we lived within 50 miles of the hotel. I thought it was a joke, I could not believe it. The desk clerk called the manager or owner on the phone. Because I said we had already paid. They would not give us a refund or allow us to stay. And told me to contact travelocity for a refund. We ended up going to super 8 next door, and were checked in without a reservation within 5 minutes. Do not plan to stay here!

Very affordable motel close to Mammoth Cave National Park! Clean facilities and a nice pool. Only complaint is that one of the staff members was extremely rude for no particular reason during the check-out process and asking questions about breakfast and where to fill water bottles.

Breakfast was great! Coffee delicious! When we had trouble with the TV, they were right there to fix it, immediately. A very polite & helpful team.

Charge me an extra $111 said it was refunded no refund yet sent a card just a whole for security. No charge would be put on it. Charge me this amount I would like my money back.

Nice Motel for the money right off the highway. We arrived early around 1 p.m. and they let us check in early. Clean room, comfy beds, good for a few night stay while visiting family in cave city. Breakfast was a bit limited but for the money seems fitting. Would stay again when we go back.

Hotel is right off the highway so it was easy to drive wherever our destination was. Breakfast was very basic. The orange juice and apple juice had a weird tin taste to it. Staff was very friendly and immediately helped us when the television wasn’t working properly.

This a good economical place to stay. Clean and safe. Good amenities in the room. Comfortable bed. Close to numerous restaurants. The only concern is the noise from the nearby interstate. Its not a problem if you get a room in the front, but the backside can be noisy.

Good for a quick night or two, it’s one of the closest hotels to Mammoth NP and lots of other tourist attractions. They’ve been really improving over the past few years we’ve stayed, but again, it’s a good spot if you’re not planning on spending a lot of time there besides sleeping after spending all day exploring the area.

Room was clean but the building needs updating and painting. There were random pieces of broken furniture in the corridors. No hot items or proteins for breakfast, just cereal, toast/pastries, and fruit and yogurt. Wifi never worked and the TV kept turning off and on so much we couldn’t even watch it. I blame the cable provider for that, not the hotel. Overall not bad for the price.

The hotel is very conveniently located to Mammoth Cave and many other "things to do while you are here". There were plenty of places to eat and places to shop. I will stay here again if I were to visit this area in the future.

the person on staff directed me towards the wrong side of the hotel to find my room the floors were gross and dirty the breakfast selection was nothing but prepackaged sugar loaded pastry or plain cereal/oatmeal... no protein options so we had to go out for breakfast

Booked site because of pool and breakfast. Pool had a hand written sign half taped to the gate saying it was closed for season, but there were chairs and umbrellas out. Online said nothing about the pool being seasonal. Breakfast was trash. WiFi barely works. Flickering strobing light was so bad it was unusable. Inside of shower curtain filthy and tub didn't drain properly.. backing up with gross stuff. No staff around at checkout..

Terrible breakfast. Only bagels. Clean but property very dated. Peeling paint. Odd smell. Room felt damp.
