Millennium Central Downtown - Dubai

not hot water. Sauna and steam not working. Room smelling bad and terrible staff. Stay few hours and left the room. They promised to refund and fix the issues. After I left they are denying anything.

The hotel is on a noisy intersection and at night with supercar whining into the early hours disrupts sleep. Unfortunately the pool was closed due to refurbishment and one of the three lifts didn’t work. The restaurant and terrace bar menu is very limited. I know from experience Millennium have good hotels in Dubai this is not one of them

There was hardly any hot water in the taps or showers. Just when you reduce the flow to a drip. Television channels were abysmal. No universal plug points of USB charging sockets at all. Noisy lift kept me awake all night. Air on temperature never reached the desired level. Less than average toiletries. Mini bar with absolutely nothing inside

Hallo ! Ich habe extra ein Hotel gebucht mit Pool und Sauna ! Der Pool wird umgebaut und die Sauna geschlossen wurde mir gesagt ! Dubai ist heiß da braucht man ein gehe gerne schwimmen ! Leider nicht vorhanden wird umgebaut ?! Wir wurden mit Bus zum anderen Hotel gebracht ! Besser als Nix ! Hätte besser im Millenium Plaza hotel übernachtet mit Pool ! Ich bin enttäuscht meine Freundin ist enttäuscht ! Personal alle super nett ! Immer lieb ! Nur kein Pool und Sauna hätte ich gerne gemacht ! Bitte ein Gutschein für die nächste Reise ? Parking issues and gym has no working machines

This hotel is ok but the issue is with their gym having no machine working , very difficult parking as it shares it with very busy night clubs So if you try to come late at night you will take 20 minutes to get into the entrances

Habitación correcta, sin mas. El personal en general poco eficiente, tanto en recepción, mucha personal, pero poco servicio. El personal del restaurante, lo mismo, poco eficiente, a pesar de estar medio vacío, tenías que hasta levantarte de la mesa para que te atendieran, además de la carta, poca variedad y caro. Por ultimo, la zona de Business Central, zona en la que poder tener algún meeting con clientes, estaba en obras y en el único lugar donde lo pude hacer fue en las mesas de la cafetería de la calle, porque en el lobby no me lo permitieron. SIN DUDA ALGUNA, NO VOLVERE JAMAS A ESTE HOTEL. MAL SERVICIO PARA UN VIAJE DE NEGOCIOS

The hotel was nice overall, but the service was lacking. Our heat wasn’t working and made a request for someone to look at it. Nobody ever showed. Made a request for an iron. Had to phone a second time and it eventually showed up 5 hours later from first phone call. Breakfast option was buffet or room service - nothing in between. When you phoned room service, they tried to get you to go to the buffet. Bar service wasnt good. They were charging $13 CAN for a 3 oz glass of wine , and most drinks were unavailable Poor was not available and under construction but it wasn’t mentioned on the website when we booked. Hotel was nice but the amenities and service were poor. Also, the hotel is right beside a major hwy so quite noisy at night.

The location was convenient. The room and shower was not very clean. Dusty/dirty floors and stains on the bed cushion. TV and some plug outlets did not work. Only 1 operational lift. We were not told that the swimming pool was closed/under construction. We were double charged a holding fee that has been voided but I have not received the funds (3 days later).

Pool was not available at the time I stay there, that was really a pain…

I found bed bugs in the room and hotel did not do anything to refund or compensate for it. Very bad and poor service.

The room was very dirty and not clean at all. We had to ask our bed sheets to be changed 2 times, Bathtub and sick were extremely dirty and not cleaned on the daily clean up. Floor was always left as we left it and not even wiped once

Zimmer was allgemein sehr dreckig bzw schlecht geputzt. Das Bett war komplett durchgelegen. Keine Klobürste im Bad und das Bad allgemein in keinem sauberen Zustand. Frühstück war ok.

The hotel is nice in itself; however the rooms were not as clean as I had anticipated. The shower had mildew stains and the area where you step wasn't clean. The bathroom floors weren't clean and had stains and the room smelled of a light cigarette smoke smell.

Bugs in bathroom, no hot water, broken tv that didn’t work. Overhaul was not a good experience.

Cold rooms

The hotel was ok but it’s too noisy! You can hear everything inside the room that’s happening outside in the streets! The cars the beeping the music. Very hard to sleep.

The property was great. They gave us free upgrade. The view was amazing. The room was clean and spacious. The only thing that killed the experience was the flickering of the lamps. I think there was some issue with the device where you push the key card to activate the lights.

Is so close to the Dubai Mall, you can walk if you want to. The only thing I would complain about is the shower water temperature control, it was very hard to set the right one.

Ok hotel. Good location for Dubai Mall. 1km walk. We had two rooms, both had worn (Tired) bathroom fittings. Room itself was large with good views. Staff made a mistake with our bookings, and it was quite a time consuming process to get it corrected.

Overall good location and acceptable service with friendly staff. Construction in the front was annoyingly. Taxi availability was poor. Valet try to push expensive options when street cabs are half the price. I would rate this 3.5 stars

The service was disappointing. The room was missing a blow dryer, and the air conditioning wasn’t functioning properly. I called room service three times, but no one ever came. Additionally, the phone in the room doesn’t work properly, making communication difficult. I had also arranged and confirmed an airport shuttle via email, but there was no shuttle upon my arrival.

Absolutely unacceptable experience and very poor management. We paid over €3,400 for four people, two rooms, for one full week (Sunday to Sunday). For that price, we expected basic hospitality and professionalism — which we clearly did not receive. We arrived at the hotel at 5:00 AM after an overnight journey. Prior to arrival, we had sent several emails and made phone calls to ask about early check-in. We never received any response. Upon arrival, we politely asked again for an early check-in and even offered to pay extra. The staff simply said they would “try to find a room”, without any follow-up or solution. During this time, multiple families were checking out of the hotel between 5:00 AM and 11:00 AM, which means that rooms were becoming available and at least one of our two rooms could have been cleaned and temporarily assigned to us. This was never even attempted. Instead, we were forced to wait for hours in a cold corridor, without water, assistance, or empathy, despite having two sick people in our group. We had to insist strongly just to receive two small bottles of water for four people. To make matters worse, the hotel did have a suite available, but rather than offering it as a temporary solution until our rooms were ready, we were told we could only use it by paying an additional fee. No alternative or goodwill solution was proposed. This experience shows a complete lack of guest care, flexibility, and basic human consideration. For a hotel charging thes

Hotel and staff are amazing. Ubers were great we used them all the time. We also used and booked the activities for day trips from the hotel. They were all great. One problem the taxi guy who stands outside with the blue suit his taxi and and him are the bigest rip off. Have changed us so muchbover 100 aed for 10 minute ride. Have used uber since then and they all told us they riped us off. The boss with the blue suit also knows that but didnt care . They also approached us for sand dunes activities and tryed to off cheper then the guy inside the hotel but we didnt take there offer since they rip us off on taxi.

Slow service

I recently arrived in Dubai for the first time, traveling from Canada. Upon reaching the hotel, I was slightly early and requested if my room could be made available. However, I was kept waiting for an extended period, while I observed other guests being checked in and receiving their rooms ahead of me. This experience left me disappointed, as it reflects poorly on the level of service provided—particularly for international guests arriving after a long and exhausting flight.

Checking in was cool, but the phone wouldn't connect to ROOM SERVICE nor HOUSEKEEPING. The TV had another guest's name on the welcome screen and it would not turn off. I called the front desk 3 times requesting assistance, but no one came until I complained to management. Not a good experience at all.

The hotel lobby was under construction when we stayed. The new "lobby" was extremely messy and disorganized. And our room wasn't ready at 3pm (check in time). We sat around the lobby waiting until 4pm before getting keys to our room. The room itself was nice. The bed and pillows were very comfortable, and the location was convenient. Upon checking out, I asked the staff in the lobby if they could call me a cab, and they advised that there are taxis downstairs waiting, just outside of the exit door. So, when we got outside, we asked one of the staff members (I think he worked for the valet service, but am not sure) if he knew where the taxis were. He brought us to some guy in an unmarked car whose driver was quoting an extremely high "flat rate" to take us to the airport. We said, let's just use the taxi meter, because Dubai taxis are usually quite affordable, and we knew that the meter would be cheaper. We get in this "taxi" and there's no meter! I ask him how he's gonna set the meter. He pulls up some metering app on his phone, and the charges start climbing insanely quick. I quickly google "unmarked taxis in Dubai," and find out that they're scams and illegal. We promptly get out of the car and call an Uber, which cost less than half the price of the "flat rate" that the scam taxi wanted to charge us. I phoned the hotel on 3 separate occasions to report this to the manager, however none of those 3 times would staff connect me to the manager.

The hotel overall is good and comfortable, however there are clubs surrounded by it which makes it difficult for the residents to come in as they cause traffic and they can be very noisy

The room was cramped and the bathroom wasn’t clean. I called for them to clean it and it was still not cleaned adequately. The tubs paint was peeling and some parts discolored. Luckily we were only there for one night because we refused to shower in that bathroom. Also renovations were going on that weren’t mentioned beforehand. Their closeness to the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifah is not accurate.

Even though Dubai Mall shows as nearby and on Metro, an uber/taxi was required to get there. They were quite pricy.

Prime location, close to the Dubai Mall. You can walk from the hotel to the mall, and you are also near the Burj Khalifa. The staff is very attentive.

The hotel is very well located, just 10 min walking from dubai mall, burj khalifa and the fountain. Overall a very good hotel. The negative was the breakfast, it could be much much better. But definitely 4 of 5 star.

Clean and safe, staff and service was great. Liked the transportation access in front of the hotel and the convenience store nearby. Overall experience was lovely.

Of the 3 dining options advertised only one was open, we were advised by another traveler not to eat there. So very isolated for dining, the only other place was an Asian/noodle bar underneath, but cash only. Cleanliness wise there were long hairs in bathroom and main room and floor was dirty. Had to ask for hairdryer and tissues.

Amazing stay! Very clean, friendly staffs. Highly recommend the food.

Breakfast was a disaster

The breakfast each morning was a buffet, with a lot of choices. It was only 15 min walk to the Dubai Mall and the water show.

So smelly dirty.in breakfast area they off the light when its 10:40 even though alots of guests were sitting there and having their tea and they would come so many times we are cleaning it means go it can't even wait 10 or 5 minutes so rude unprofessional i was in taj plum Jumeirah they were so respectful nuce as mich you sit after the breakfast time they didn't say anything

Although my stay was very brief (1 night only), overall it was a pleasant stay. My only concern or critique would be around the cleanliness of the toilet. Muddy patches were on the floor of the toilet at 3 separate areas. Buffet breakfast was great and staff were super friendly.

However, the cleaning of the rooms was a downside. Although the rooms were generally fine, there were several oversights regarding towel replacement, which occurred every day during our stay. Additionally, I found dirt under the beds, such as candy and chocolate wrappers, showing a lack of deep cleaning. The windows of the large windows also appeared to be dirty, which dimmed the otherwise stunning views of the city’s skyscrapers. If the windows were properly maintained, the views would be much more impressive. One of the most negative aspects of our stay was the taxi service. Despite agreeing on a fair fare to Dubai Mall, we were charged the full amount per person when sharing the ride, which felt unreasonable and poorly managed by the hotel. In summary, the hotel has great advantages such as its location, the breakfast service, and some amenities, but there are areas for improvement, especially in room cleanliness and taxi service. I offer this as constructive criticism, hoping that the hotel continues to improve in order to provide an even better experience for its guests.
