clean pool, arrived early and they waved the early check in fee

Price was great, the building inside appeared to be under repairs/remodel in some areas, room and linens appeared to be clean, some wall paper peeling inside bathroom, breakfast was only cereal and fruit, we arrived at night and parking lot was not well lite either.

Room was exceptionally clean, spacious, and bed very comfortable. Check in was easy and facility was quiet with easy access to a State Road to reach mainstream eateries etc. The only drawback was facility exterior appeared unkempt which made me initially question if entire operation might be in disrepair. Thankfully this wasn't the case. Also parking lot lights were not on after dusk and made me feels bit vulnerable as a lone traveler. Otherwise, a restful stay for a better than average price!

Comfortable bed and big TV. This hotel is being renovated, so some things are closed.

Dirty very hard mattress, poor breakfast,stale muffins, no fresh water,dry cereal didn’t dispense properly as it was broken. Gym was closed, Icemaker not working. Stairway not marked so had to look for it on our own. Our friends tv didn’t work.

Not up kept. Weeds and grass overgrown. Minimal toiletries especially Towels. Can be a nice place

They are currently renovating so that explains the property condition rating at the moment. I stayed in a recently renovated room. The renovations are very nicely done so it feels very modern now including in the common inside areas. The outside is still being renovated but will look just as nice as the rooms. The area around the hotel is beautiful even being in an industrial park so I like to take walks around the area in the evenings.

It was comfortable, I felt safe. Pool area smelled really bad. Bottled water for sale but locked up at night.

We stayed here on a motorcycle trip and this was a nice hotel with a pool to cool off in

Knock on our door at 2:25 am and woke us up to turn our tv down - another knock on the door right before 8 am and at 8:35 am they were vacuuming outside our door and then another knock on the door. A used bandaid on the floor by our bed and Construction everywhere and the outside was a mess. No decent place to get a good breakfast besides a Hardees. We will never ever stay here again.

There were several of us who stayed for a wedding at this hotel over the weekend, and ALL of us received terrible service from guest service. Every single one of us had some sort of “problem” with booking, and though several of us prepaid for our rooms, we were all told “you did not pay” despite showing receipts. Some of us were charged more than the or initial booking price. In top of the, the floors were not clean in our room, and there is visible dirt and grime in the elevator and hall ways. I understand they our under renovations at this time, but maybe they just need new management. I will drive the 25 minutes to the other hotel in the future; I will never be staying here again.

Glad it was only a one night stay. Hotel is located off by itself, away from town which is wonderful (and also the main reason I picked it), but unfortunately that was the only real up-side to my stay. I checked in around 7:30pm. The lady at reception was very friendly and helpful. There is a very strong fragrance throughout the whole hotel from wall plug-ins, to the point that I had a sore throat and headache from it. If you are scent sensitive, I would NOT recommend staying at this hotel. The room was a nice size. Bed was clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, there was no seal under the door, so I could hear everyone walking and talking as they went by. Also, the room was connected to another by a door between rooms - this door must've been hollow because I could hear everything from the next room (conversations, tv blaring, arguments... you get the idea). It was well after midnight before the hotel throughout was quiet enough for me to sleep. The AC unit was extremely loud. The fan was loud enough before the AC kicked in, I couldn't believe it could possibly get louder, yet somehow it did. I had to shut it off. It would be impossible to sleep with it on. The next morning, I looked forward to a refreshing shower. One of my two towels was stained to the point that I wasn't comfortable using it. Thankfully the other one was spotless. The shower itself was dated, but clean. No one at the desk upon check out to discuss issues, just a basket to drop your room cards in.

The staff was prompt and helpful. We had an initial difficulty with our key and the person on duty quickly resolved the issue. The visit was quiet and the room was clean and well kept.

This hotel was in a quiet location close to Tellico Village. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was quiet at night and met our needs.

Had a dead tick on ice tongs and 💋 on a coffee mug.....

The property was nice. Breakfast a disappointment as moist free breakfasts are. Spacious, comfortable room. Not the fault of hotel but the room next door ran the TV ALL NIGHT LONG! It was annoying!!

The hotel was being renovated. Our room was nice, freshly renovated and LVP flooring instead of carpet. Most of the hotel was still closed but staff was nice and helpful.

The Grand Vista was a good general value that met our expectations for a quick one-night stay. Very clean. A little plain, but good comfortable beds. Slept well. We looked over the breakfast and opted for a nearby McDonald's breakfast instead.

The actual room was nice. The bathroom tiny. You couldn't open the bathroom door all the way, due to the door would hit the bathtub/shower. The staff wasn't professional. they didn't tell me anything about the breakfast or check out time, which I knew the time. The 1st floor was missing ceiling tiles in the hallway.

My air conditioner was extremely loud. And the battery in the smoke detector decided to die at three in the morning and just beep. I ended up removing it because I asked them to replace it while I was out for the day and nobody did. The room wasn’t dirty, but it was definitely dated and so is the hotel.

We were in Vonore just for the night and not many choices close by, that being said, this hotel was clean and remodeled and cost effective, so we were content and comfortable staying there. We would do so again if in the area.

Very clean was a little noisy at night, lot of bikers. A/C hard to maintain a consistent temp. For what’s available in the area it wasn’t bad I would stay again.

We were there on a Wed. and went in to get our room and there was no one anywhere. A sign said call for assistance. So, I picked up the phone, and it started ringing and then I heard a Hello. I then said Hello, and he said hello again and I said is there someone to help me sign in? Then he came out from the back and signed me in with no greeting just very business-like no personality. He gave me an approximately 1x3 inch receipt and said there were no hot items on the breakfast menu, and then went in the back where he originally came out. There were maybe 5 cars in the front when we got there. Not very many customers. The room was good. In the morning, we went to the breakfast area and there were no guests seen anywhere. We looked to see what was in the breakfast area and there were bags of cookies and some muffins and bread type bagels. A container of orange juice and a container of milk for the cereal and coffee. So, we went out for breakfast. When we left there was no one in the Lobby customers or manager anywhere. It was weird like a ghost town weird. There might have been 7cars when we left around 8:30 am.

The location is terrible, and the staff is unprofessional, providing poor service and never comeback again.

The room was suitable but the property was not been mowed or kept up for months. 2 foot high grass everywhere. No doubt some of the most unfriendly staff i have met in 45 years os travel. And the breakfast was an absolute j I ke. Never again...

I'm sure it's been tough the last several years with Covid. Properly is headed in the right direction. Had some loud guests next to us one night, we called and it was promptly dealth with.

We have stayed at this location multiple times. We come to see our daughter and she has recommended this place to not only us but has had 8 other families stay here for the last 5 years. We know the place isn’t beautiful or even what we would normally stay in but it is the only hotel in the area and close to our daughter. Since coming to this place we have never used any of the amenities due to us spending the day visiting and exploring the area. One of the days it was hot and my wife wanted to bring our grandchildren to the pool for the afternoon. There was nobody in the pool, the grandchildren were quiet and not causing a ruckus, and the hotel only had a handful of guests period (which one was recommended by our daughter and is friends with her neighbor). One of the owners (who live on site) came out and asked what room my wife was in. She gave him the room number and he said that room is registered to only one guest. She gave my name and he said okay that’s fine but no outsiders are allowed in the pool. My wife replied that these are my grandchildren and he said “that’s good, they need to get out.” As many times as we have stayed here, as many times as this place has been recommended, to be so disrespectful when you clearly don’t have a lot of business to begin with shows you have horrible customer service. My wife gathered up the grandchildren and brought them home. While leaving she refused to talk to him and his response is you can check out right now! Unprofessional!

Great staff, clean rooms, quiet location. All around great stay.

Wonderful people to work with I tried to get the date changed on my room and couldn’t get hold of hotel.com but the people who work there help me out

If your checking it late night go somewhere else, took several phone calls to wake up the night clerk that was obviously sleeping in the back room, once he finally came up he double charged me and was obviously in a daze, took 25 minutes to check in. The morning: woke up to a Pajeet banging on door at 930am dispite having the do not disturb placard on the door handle... We got in late and went to bed around 330am. I guess I expect to be left alone until the 11am checkout time especially with do not disturb on door. Maybe they can't read it?.. Overall nice stay but could use some customer service training.

Hotel was dated, but currently under renovation. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. It was in a location off the main road so it was isolated from heavy traffic and very quiet.

Great place to stay and close to Tail of the Dragon & Pigeon Forge. Can't go wrong going here.....great prices too!

It was clean and still a good place to stay if you are wanting to see the quiet side of the Smokies.

Good place to stay to kick around the mountains and tail of the dragon. Off the beaten path so very quiet. No road noise at all.

This hotel was in a quiet location close to Tellico Village. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was quiet at night and met our needs.

Convenient to Alcoa, TN

Nice people own and run this place. Very quiet and out of the way. Comfortable beds too. I will return. Very close to the Tail of the Dragon and other places we like to ride. Great value for that area.

Good enough for a night or two at most. First off the hotel is far away from everything and by itself with nothing around. Could see its has been remodeled and still needs some finishing. Breakfast is VERY continental (2 apples, 2 bananas, half loaf of bread..). On positive note was able to get a pizza delivered. In short rooms could be little more spacious and door thi ke but would stay again if ever in area.

Older place not really worth the money the breakfast is horrible

Good for the money but pretty basic facilities. Very clean and staff helpful. Property is dated. Breakfast wasn’t anything remarkable: coffee, toast, cereal or pastries - limited selection.

It was clean and comfortable. There was a strong smell , not unpleasant , of deodorizer or something as soon as you walked in, thankfully not in the rooms. It was strong enough to bother my allergies. The down side was the breakfast. Although to be fair there was a sign posted saying coffee, juice, and baked goods, no protein option available. I feel one kind of muffin, a bag of chocolate chip cookies, and bread doesnt quiet qualify as breakfast. Overall for a one night stay it was fine.

The breakfast was lacking a little. Not a lot to pick and choose from. The hotel has just been renovated with new paint, flooring, beds. Very nice and it smelled new.
