Gjennomført hyggelig hotell i alle ledd! Deilige senger, hyggelig restaurant, glimrende smaksmessig og God frokost! Sentralt i Sandane. God parkering.

We arrived at 2:00 and were told by the man at the desk that our room was not ready. A woman came out from the back room and said there were other rooms available that we could have. Great. The room was clean, bed comfortable, however the coffee machine did not work and it took nearly ten minutes for the lights in the room to come on. Cleaning woman said this is normal. Food was expensive and portions small. Thankfully, there was a great restaurant just in town called the "MonaLisa". Manager was awesome and salmon and beef were wonderful. Back at the hotel we asked if there was a washer/dryer on the premises for guests. The woman at the desk said yes, and bring clothes down and she would show us where they were. When my friend arrived at the desk, the man was back and said there would be a charge for laundering the clothes and the staff would wash and dry them. We said fine. Later that evening the clothes were returned in the duffle bag just as we were headed out to dinner. Upon returning to the hotel we discovered that the clothes in the duffle had been shoved into the bag wet and wrinkled. We had to take everything out of the bag, shake them out and lay on available surfaces in the room to dry. I went down to the desk to talk with the attendant. She was not a manager and apologized for our experience. I asked her to leave a note for the manager in the morning. In the morning they offered to take the clothes back and dry them. We will not be returning.

This was an excellent spur of the moment stop during our road trip through Norway. The rooms were clean and comfortable (heated bathroom floors were an added bonus). The staff were polite and amicable, provided excellent service and the breakfast was fantastic. Would recommend this hotel highly to anyone who needs a good place to stay for the night!

The Gloppen Hotell is lovely in every way. The room was beautifully decorated, modern, spacious, and clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable. The view from our window was priceless. We loved everything about this hotel. Breakfast was quite special. The selection of foods was vast, so beautifully displayed, and delicious. Everything about the Gloppen Hotell is grand!

Ærverdig hotell i sentrum av Sandane. Rommet var fint, grei størrelse, god seng og fint møblert. To gode lenestoler, bord og skrivebord. Der var mange lamper, men dårlig belysning... sengelampen satt så langt unna senga at det var umulig å lese. Badet var ganske stort, men manglet mulighet til å koble til hårføner/barbermaskin. Og det var ikke noen form for dusjdør, så hele badet ble søkkvått. Pluss for varme i badegulv og radiator på rommet. Vi spiste middag, og den var god, men i overkant dyr. God frokost med varmt og kaldt, veldig godt utvalg an det meste. Koselig uteplass foran hotellet, og hyggelig betjening.

Herlig hotell: rent, koselig, vennlig atmosfære, imøtekommende betjening, gode senger i finerom. god mat. frister til gjentagelse.

Fin natur. Veldig lytt på rommene og man hører naboene prate. Housekeeping bråker mye om morgenen og dårlig med søvn, da det var arbeid med støvsuger om natten som durer i hele hotellet.

Fryktelig lite og lytt eldre rom. Aldri våknet så mye av støy på et hotell.. Fra veien da. Gikk ikke an å dusje uten fukt i hele rommet å klissvått gulv på absolutt hele badet. Ikke mer en ok frokost, men kanskje jeg kom litt sent.. var det en time før frokosten stengte men.

Really enjoyed the hotel. New section was modern and very comfortable. Bed and bedding was great. Very clean. Historical section in Including dining rooms was wonderful. Food was very good. Great breakfast. Enjoyed learning about history of hotel relative to salmon fishing. Wonderful fish dinner. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. A great find.

Greit enkelt rom, med veldig dårlig dusj der vann rant utover hele gulvet. Gamle,stygge og utette silikonfuger. Middels service ved utsjekk.

Fint rom med svært gode sengar og bra bad. Middagen vi bestilte om kvelden var super.

Rommet vi fikk var kjedelig og var bråkete når vi skulle sove, trur det var noen event under oss.. Frukost var god og service var fin. Enda minus var att rommet var kald, såg ikke att det var en ovn der bak gardinen

Det började inte bra. Vi blev tilldelade hotellets sämsta (?) rum, en mörk trång skrubb inklämd i ett hörn mot hotellets baksida helt utan utsikt. Vi bor ofta på hotellboende har märkt att när man bokar genom någon av de stora bokningssidorna har vissa hotell satt i system att erbjuda sina sämsta rum. Mot några hundra kronor extra kunde vi byta. För nästan 2000 kr fick vi ett större men iskallt och lyhört rum. När vi satte på de gamla elelementen förvandlades rummet till en bastu. På plussidan var sängarna och frukosten. Hotell som inte erbjuder varje kund bästa möjliga upplevelse man kan kanske behöva tänka till en gång till…

The simpleness of the Hotel and the friendliness of the staff made our stay wonderful. With a room looking over the water is breathtaking.

Eneste som trakk ned var lite/gammeldags bad. Kunne hatt bedre skjerming til vinduet

Booked this hotel because it served dinner late on Sunday. Emailed hotel to let them know arrival time and make dinner reservation. When we got in, 45 min before restaurant was to close, told us restaurant was closing early but could make a plate for us. Put bags in room, came down and was told they made a mistake and no meals available. Saw staff eating our meals afterward. Sent in pouring rain to dingy pizza place for soggy pizza. Hotel is dated. There are better options.

Perfect services in many details

This was a really nice small hotel. Staff was so friendly, since this is small, they knew us after day one and talked to us and shared sightseeing recommendations. Food at the hotel restaurant was excellent.

Pent, rolig og trygt sted. Frokosten var utmerket med gode råvarer og hjemmelaget brød.

Das Hotel liegt in der Nähe des Fjords und es gibt die Gelegenheit, darin zu baden. Das Zimmer war geräumig mit bequemen Betten. Das Frühstück war gut und lies keine Wünsche offen.

Gloppen hotel har en unik atmosfære med sans for detaljer, alt fra interiøret til friske blomster på rommet og levende lys og hvite duker på bordene i frokostsalen. Frokosten var en sanselig opplevelse med diskret pianomusikk i bakgrunnen og fantastisk hjemmelaget mat. Gode gluten- og melkefri alternativer.

Got into our room and some of the lights and the tv were not operational. Was told that they just installed the new tvs but that the “guy” still had to set them up and wouldn’t be back h til later in the week (like that would help us during our stay) it was suggested that I use my own computer (on vacation…don’t have one with me) we also Asked to use a computer/laptop to assist with getting a wifi device updated and was told no, we don’t do that here. Food - if you aren’t there hiring high season, there was only one food option if you didn’t want to eat at the hotel which had a special limited menu. I’m sure it’s a lovely place during high season…

It was a great experience. The Chef is amazing. Check the Tartare dish from the menu. It's top of the line.
