The room is small but homey and quaint. The location is perfect. There's a view of the lake across the street with activities all around. It's pet-friendly with a dog park and another pet-friendly lake access just on the other side of the lake. But the best part of our stay was the owner. His friendly engagement and help with his guests makes it feel like family. We loved it and can't wait to visit again!

First time staying and it has its pros and cons — check in the lady was so nice and helpful the room little outdated but clean and had everything we needed only thing was the office closed so we couldn’t get another fire log .The sliding door needs to be replaced but overall I definitely go back , market across the street 7-11 at the corner and the lake so for a nice getaway and cozy we stayed in the king suite it had the full kitchen but only king bed .. nice place to stay .,

We stayed one night in unit #5 which had a fireplace and balcony. The room was smaller than I had expected but had it did have a special charm. The bed was comfortable but most of all I enjoyed the sheets. There is Mexican restaurant next door with a friendly staff and excellent food. We would like to thank Abdul for all his help. Looking forward to our next stay in the summer.

I had a very good experience staying here. The room was clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. All the amenities were provided, such as bath towel, washcloth, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, coffee, sugar and creamer, coffee maker, and coffee mug and wineglasses. One of the best parts was the A/C, which really cooled down the room during the summer. The bed was stylishly decorated with comfortable beddings. The Cable TV provided many movie and TV show selections for free. The staff’s customer service was excellent. They were friendly, professional, and attentive. They really made it feel like home. Best of all there was a free parking space for my car at the inn when I stayed there. I was surprised by how quiet the area right outside my balcony, as well as the surrounding area was at night. You can walk around Lake Gregory by assessing the path on Lake Gregory Drive or on Lake Street with the entrance next to the metal fence. Or you can pay a small fee to swim and boat at the lake. All in all it was such a wonderful experience, thank you.

Awesome experience, very accommodating to my 2 huskies. I forgot my dog blankets and they provided 2 for me. Clean and cozy it was. There is a dog friendly Mexican restaurant next door. I even met the owner and as well very accommodated.

great place to have a weekend stay over. The Complimentary Fireplace (pre filled with DuraLog) was a romantic comforting touch - Thank you. Plus the view through the sliding door was also a nice caveat. In the afternoon the walk around Gregory Lake and around the town made the stay that much better.

The Room is very close to down town and right across from lake. The room was clean and nice, but the bathroom had an awful mildew type of smell to it. The room had a real nice patio, out looking the lake, but the slider door was extremely hard to open and close. Overall nice stay but the property could use some maintenance and paint.

On approach loved the location, the proximity to the lake and town. Inside the room observed the Inn has seen better days. There is an attempt at lavish furnishings, but in this time of disease and CA bugs, some things need to go. Fireplace is lovely. View from balcony is lovely, but chairs are both sagged in the middle, so stood to enjoy. Sought a Bible in the evening, found the drawer it was in had been wet at some time, soiling the book, the cover was stuck to the drawer. There was information under a large plastic sticker that had dried brown liquid under it. Comfortable bed. Questionable cleanliness of shower. Turned on the water and waited, waited, an obscene amount of time. CA is a drought state, so gave up. When I called the front desk to let them know was told to let it run one to two minutes. I did, and then some. Hopefully, someone will buy this quaint piece of history and begin revival.

The rooms were immaculate and the staff was very friendly, each room also comes with its own balcony. It was perfect for our stay right across the street, overlooking lake Gregory.

We stayed one day in room #3 and we liked that it was walking distance to Lake Gregory and that it had a balcony. The room was outdated, it needs upgrade and a paint job. Overall clean and good for a one day stay if you want to visit Lake Gregory.

We had a wonderful stay at the North Shore Inn in Crestline. Saed and Abdul were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The inn is conveniently located just across the street from Lake Gregory, offering a partial lake view, and within walking distance to Goodwin’s & Sons Market and the charming small town. We loved the nearby Lake Gregory Fitness Trail that goes around the entire lake—it’s a beautiful place for a walk or jog. Staying here was a refreshing change from the typical hotel chain. The bed was very comfortable, the sheets beautifully embroidered, and the room was clean, quiet, and relaxing. The shower had excellent water pressure, and thoughtful touches like cookies in the room and a coffee maker with mugs instead of paper cups made our stay extra special. We also appreciated the umbrella on the balcony, which allowed us to enjoy the seating in the shade. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable stay—we would definitely return!

While this may be the “best you can get in this area,” we were less than enamored. Very noisy - we heard people next door, above us and in hallway late into the evening. Better draperies or black out curtains would help with bright light shining in from the restaurant next door. The ceiling fan could use a cleaning. No one was at the front desk in the evening around 8 pm, nor when we tried to check out the following morning. Only positive is lots of hot water in the shower!

We didn't expect luxury, but the North Shore Inn was still a disappointment. Tiny room, bargain basement mattress and pillows, no ventilation in bathroom, no refrigerator or microwave, no breakfast, internet too slow for Netflix, traffic noise until late at night, a trash strewn lot outside our room. The wine glasses and intrically folded towel in the room did not begin to compensate for the lack of basic comforts. On the plus side, the staff was friendly, the room was clean, and a good Mexican restaurant is right next door. Unfortunately, there are almost no other hotel options in this area. This may explain how the owners are able to get away with this state of affairs and still charge a premium price.

Location is great in the sense that it is right across the street from the entrance to Lake Gregory so easy access to hiking and boating. The manager of the inn was very nice and helpful. It's right next to a very busy road, so kind of loud at night. The rooms were clean, but very dated, dingy, and small. I don't know that there is a nicer place right on the lake, but I don't think I would stay there again- too cramped and didn't feel special for a weekend getaway.

It was clean, staff was friendly. The neon light beat into our window all night and the room was very small. Too small to function in. No Netflix Hulu or streaming services. The private patio was nice.

We’ve stayed there before and it was fine. This time it was OK, we had a hard time watching tv and falling asleep due to the fact that there was a guest snoring absolutely loud. At first we couldn’t figure it out but then my husband got close to the wall and it was snoring yikes. Good view of the lake. The service was great, easy check-in and out.

It’s a wonderful location next to lake Gregory. The staff were nice. The only thing I would say is that the place is a little outdated. The TV was in bad shape & so was the bed comforter. Aside from that, we had a nice stay!

We didn't expect luxury, but the North Shore Inn was still a disappointment. Tiny room, bargain basement mattress and pillows, no ventilation in bathroom, no refrigerator or microwave, no breakfast, internet too slow for Netflix, traffic noise until late at night, a trash strewn lot outside our room. The wine glasses and intrically folded towel in the room did not begin to compensate for the lack of basic comforts. On the plus side, the staff was friendly, the room was clean, and a good Mexican restaurant is right next door. Unfortunately, there are almost no other hotel options in this area. This may explain how the owners are able to get away with this state of affairs and still charge a premium price.

We had a lovely stay at The North Shore Inn. It is conveniently located across the street from Lake Gregory with nearby walking trails, grocery store, and restaurants. The hotel was very clean and Abdul & his staff were excellent. We would stay in this property again.

I had a very good experience staying here. The room was clean, comfortable, and stylishly decorated. All the amenities were provided, such as bath towel, washcloth, toilet paper, soap, shampoo, coffee, sugar and creamer, coffee maker, and coffee mug and wineglasses. One of the best parts was the A/C, which really cooled down the room during the summer. The bed was stylishly decorated with comfortable beddings. The Cable TV provided many movie and TV show selections for free. The staff’s customer service was excellent. They were friendly, professional, and attentive. They really made it feel like home. Best of all there was a free parking space for my car at the inn when I stayed there. I was surprised by how quiet the area right outside my balcony, as well as the surrounding area was at night. You can walk around Lake Gregory by assessing the path on Lake Gregory Drive or on Lake Street with the entrance next to the metal fence. Or you can pay a small fee to swim and boat at the lake. All in all it was such a wonderful experience, thank you.

I’ve stayed here a few times in the last 4 years and it always works for me. Abdul is amazing and helpful with any questions. Everything from here is walkable in town. Great walk around the lake too!

The inn is conveniently located just across the street from Lake Gregory, offering a partial lake view, and within walking distance to Goodwin’s & Sons Market and the charming small town. We loved the nearby Lake Gregory Fitness Trail that goes around the entire lake—it’s a beautiful place for a walk or jog. Staying here was a refreshing change from the typical hotel chain. The bed was very comfortable, the sheets beautifully embroidered, and the room was clean, quiet, and relaxing. The shower had excellent water pressure, and thoughtful touches like cookies in the room and a coffee maker with mugs instead of paper cups made our stay extra special. Location! location! location! Just across the street from Lake Gregory and a lovely walking trail around the lake. Easy walk to town and several restaurants and shops. Hiking trail to Heart Rock a short drive away. The North Shore Inn was an ideal get away. It isn’t fancy but was perfect for our needs.

This is a very nicely located hotel just across the road from Lake Gregory. It is small, but quaint, and the rooms are clean and the bed is very comfortable. A really nice place to stay, and good restaurants are within easy walking distance.

We stayed one night in unit #5 which had a fireplace and balcony. The room was smaller than I had expected but had it did have a special charm. The bed was comfortable but most of all I enjoyed the sheets. There is Mexican restaurant next door with a friendly staff and excellent food. We would like to thank Abdul for all his help. Looking forward to our next stay in the summer.

Awesome experience, very accommodating to my 2 huskies. I forgot my dog blankets and they provided 2 for me. Clean and cozy it was. There is a dog friendly Mexican restaurant next door. I even met the owner and as well very accommodated.

Great place to stay. Staff was absolutely fantastic. Mexican food and supermarket is walking distance away. So is the lake. Only down side was the neighbors to the adjacent room were playing there music extremely loud. I think it was to drown out the passionate evenings they had EVERY night. Other than that, the stay was great. We drove to Lake Arrowhead and had waffles..

My wife and loved this place, will definitely go back. Perfect for a quick getaway. Great room, although the bed was a little soft for my 200lb size. Awesome front desk dude, Mexican restaurant next door was really good. Parking around back was just enough for the hotel size.

The staff was amazingly friendly, and very helpful. We stayed in the single queen room with a balcony facing the main street. It was perfect. Stores and restraunts are walking distance, as well as the Lake. Bed was very comfortable. Our room came with a microwave and mini fridge. We will stay again in the future.

There were bugs coming out and crawling all over our shower. When speaking to the staff they were dismissive of our concerns. The place was overall outdated. Would not recommend.

The staff was extremely friendly. However, I spent the first night in room #3. I had some snacks with me, and I put them on top of a large shelving unit. The next day, there was evidence that some type of animal had been in the room and had ripped into the bag. Upon examination of the room, there was a HUGE hole in the corner where who knows what had trespassed into my room! I was moved to a different room and was compensated for the first night's escapades, but I would say to anyone renting here, closely examine your room before check-in. Other than that, the place is right across from the lake, conveniently located, and rather rustic. If you are up for adventure, this is your place!

Our stay was comfortable. The bed was the highlight, meeting our comfort needs. The lighting was a bit dim in the bathroom and the fan above the bed was noisy and had medium and high speeds only. Our patio was pleasant, but, smaller chairs for the tall built in bar, where there was a view could have been a bit smaller and cushions for the iron seats would have been pleasant. This 10 room Inn is convenient to everything Lake Gregory. Short walking distance to Lake. Tony's a restaurant next door was a great addition to our stay. Goodwin and Son's Grocery was a fantastic surprise, within walking distance with a enclosed sit in patio overlooking the lake! (Inside food only from the store is allowed.)
