Vollsnes Feriehus

We had a fantastic stay at Vollsnes Feriehus Stryn! Unfortunately the weather wasn't on our side, but it still gave us fantastic views!

We had a very nice 2 night stay in a cabin next to the lake. The proprietor greeted us, showed us the way to the cabin, told us where we could get dinner that evening, and came over the next morning to tell us that the road we planned to take to Geiranger to go on a fjord cruise was closed due to snow overnight. He was a wonderful host! The cabin itself was very nice, with a comfortable, albeit softer than we’re used to, bed. The bathroom had good water pressure for the sink and shower. No washcloths were provided, but this seems to be common in Norway accommodations. The clothes washer worked well. There was no clothes dryer, but a drying rack was provided. Our cabin was in a beautiful setting and we would stay here again if we ever visited this area of Norway again.

Absolutely beautiful place with a million dollars view. Host was very friendly and helpful. Very good price for such a cozy place.

Vi hade bokat hytta, trodde vi, men det visade sig att vi bokat tält! Regnets öste ner!! Allt var fullt, men värdparet, som var otroligt trevliga såg vårt dilemma. De föreslog att vi fick låna en del av deras flotta hus uppe i bergen till vår stora tacksamhet. Tusen tack till er! Lillemor och Viggo.
