Hotel Jinetes de Osa

L’hôtel se trouve dans un cadre idyllique et calme. Carlos a été très avenant et nous a facilité toutes les démarches de réservation pour visiter le Parc National de Corcovado.

The welcome by being collected on the beach and having our luggage taken to the room was a nice touch. The room itself was clean and the view was gorgeous. We were disappointed with the general service, particularly in the hotels restaurant. We booked a table on the first evening and it wasn't ready when we arrived, with the staff seeming stressed at our arrival. We were sat down 15 minutes late and the food took over an hour to arrive, during which time we were not visited once by the staff and the tables around us were left dirty. This was despite the restaurant being quite empty close to the end of service. There wasn't many staff available on site to talk to, and it felt like quite an inconvenience to them when you had a request. This does not include the girl who was volunteering with the hotel who was very helpful.

The room was clean and the view was nice. The rooms and bedding could use a serious update.

We really enjoyed our stay here! We were up in one of the rooms on the hill which had amazing views of the bay as well as great opportunities for birdwatching. The room itself was super clean and comfortable and the staff were friendly and helpful. Great proximity to the nature trail as well! We would stay again for sure.

Breakfast wasn’t the best, but the fruit was great. Very friendly staff and very helpful. Room was close to the water (no beach), and really close to the Jungle. If you want to see animals this is the right place to stay. Lot of nature-activities to do and you can walk in the jungle on footpaths. I recommend scuba diving at Isla Caño.
