DO NOT BOOK, WORST PLACE EVER. We were NOT pleased at all, with this stay at Fjordhotellet. 1. First of all, it is absolutely not okay to advertise the place as "Fjordhotellet" when it is just old worn-out apartments in a residential area in the outskirt of town. 2. I found it NOT okay to be asking for copy of the guest's credit card, as this information could be misused. 3.The apartment was completely worn out, and all furniture was from the local thrift store. 4. There was a strong smell of sewer inside the bathroom. 5. Balcony door could not be opened and when finally open, it could not be closed. 6. Kitchen was old and worn out, Paint was peeling from cabinet doors. 7. No curtains or blinds in the bedroom or in the kitchen, so no privacy at all. 8. No TV channels were available to us. 9. Very depressing atmosphere in the apartment, Not cozy at all. 10. Advertising online mentioned restaurant, but there was no restaurant available on the premises. 11. The price of the apartment was disproportionate with the condition of the apartment. We contacted the hotel receptionist, and he came by to see if he could solve some of the issues, but he was unable. We were then told to write an email to the hotel, explaining our issues with the apartment. In this email, we also told them that we expected a partly refund on the apartment. The receptionist called to offer us breakfast, but we never got an answer from them on the refund. They just totally ignored the email.

Toppen vistelse igen på Fjordhotellet! Rummet var mycket slitet det här året jämfört med vårt rum förra året.

Ok for en natt, ryddig og romslig leilighet, men veldig overpriset. Gammel blokk, slitne møbler, dårlig utstyrt kjøkken. Beliggenhet nært marbutikk og en restaurant, men langt unna sentrum og badeplass. Tynne og for smale gardiner ga innsyn på kjøkken/stue, og lys på soverom. Vanskelig å komme i kontakt med resepsjon for å avtale innsjekking. Purret 2 ganger i epost og 2 ganger på telefon før vi omsider fikk tilgang til nøkkel.
