There no restaurant in the hotel and only pi stop fast food next to the hotel. No elevator, room too small, no AC havt to own the window. And you can hear people talking all night.

Good price. Not a lot of other options in the area. Clean and comfortable. Based at the services. We arrived late at 11pm. But 24 hour food options immediately next door so it worked well for us.

Plenty of free parking. Basic facilities but very comfortable and all i needed. Friendly staff. Good value for money. Convenient location for my trip. Petrol prices at service station on site were really competitive, not hiked up as at other services.

A convenient place , in Magor services, only 45 mins from Bristol airport. I wouldn’t normally leave a review for a service station motel, but the lady who worked the night shift last Thursday deserves a mention, as she was so friendly and helpful, despite me arriving around 2am following a delayed flight. It’s lovely to have a friendly face and warm welcome, thanks

Room smelled damp and musty when we arrived. Black mould was present in the bathroom, probably because the extractor fan over the bath wasn’t working. A lack of airconditioning meant we had to open the window which let in the noise from the nearby M4

This was a clean bed for the night, nothing more. Lower your expectations before you get there. The rooms have not been modernised for what feels like at least 30 years. The room smelt of smoke and the tv volume couldn’t be lowered. The bathroom had mould and mildew stains and the fixtures and fittings are ancient.

Was a room for the night on the service station. Perfectly adequate for what I was using it for. Room was clean, shower was hot. Very limited number of plug sockets to charge things but on the whole all was ok.

After a 6 hour drive we arrive at rush jour to a lovely receptionist who instantly made us. Smile, the room was very clean and functional with a small but comfortable double and a single, we slept very well it was perfect for what we needed it was hot but the fan provided really helped

Booked this hotel last minute just as a place to rest my head. The room was big but there was no sockets near the beds or around the room, just two situated near the TV. The WiFi worked well, and the night we stayed it wasn’t very loud so had a good nights sleep.

I was pleased with the room for the price and the staff were great. My only complaint was the bins were emptied frequently through the night/early morning and the collecting cart was very noisy! Room at the back next time!

Didn’t realise the property had a damp and mouldy smell, it’s very old and due for refurbishment, although the duty manager Rory and the receptionist Dantè were excellent in their service, they were kind, courteous, compassionate in that they understood the property wasn’t right for us and were quick in giving a refund without hesitation, excellent service provided by both.

Great stay thank you. We didn’t arrive until 6am the following day due to our flight being delayed. The hotel staff were so helpful to us in being a me to check in late and have a late check out. Thank you

On arrival the lady at reception was nice and welcoming. Our room was pleasant and clean. Once we used the toilet that’s when the problem started. The tank behind the unit of the toilet literally flooded the bathroom when we flushed the toilet, seems as though it was not connected behind the unit. This was at 10pm, we were told there were no other rooms available and that we had to leave the hotel. We were told we’d be given a full refund, awaiting this refund. The staff couldn’t be more apologetic but obviously this isn’t the standard we would expect from a known hotel. Especially because we had to leave at almost 11pm and fend for ourselves.

Lets not get carried away, this is a motorway service station hotel. But, it was warm, was clean, had a comfortanle bed, hot shower, and the staff were polite and welcoming. Cant really ask for more than that. Well done.

Property fine. Room clean. Did not realise that I needed to place the 'clean room' tag on door in order for the maid to clean. Corridor floors very squeaky. No 'restaurant' on site - just fast food.

We stayed at this hotel as we was passing through Wales we found the bed very comfortable. It was clean. Staff was very friendly tea and coffee in the rooms will definitely be going back when we’re passing through Wales again great convenience having McDonald’s 24 hours so you can always get a drink or a snack parking is free when you put you’re registration number in at the reception so free parking plenty of space is available

Good price. Not a lot of other options in the area. Clean and comfortable. Based at the services. We arrived late at 11pm. But 24 hour food options immediately next door so it worked well for us.

A convenient place , in Magor services, only 45 mins from Bristol airport. I wouldn’t normally leave a review for a service station motel, but the lady who worked the night shift last Thursday deserves a mention, as she was so friendly and helpful, despite me arriving around 2am following a delayed flight. It’s lovely to have a friendly face and warm welcome, thanks

Although the hotel does not appear to have been updated in quite a long time and some facilities like the plumbing could be doing with getting improved (bath, sink and toilet very slow to drain) I was grateful that there was still a bathtub which I prefer for medical reasons when so many other places are removing them and putting in showers which fill the same space. The parking could have been better as the spaces were quite small

Very straightforward booking. Got there, very easy checking. Very helpful staff member. Fairly quiet even though on front near car park.

The room was odd I think it may have been an ex disable room but it was huge. But hand only a battery powered bed side light which didn't really work. The room was noisy but mainly due to smokers standing outside and screaming to each other. All in all the room was tired and needed a refresh having to charge your phone on the far side of the room is just not acceptable these days

The room smelled of mildew - all my clothes smelled of this when I got home. The side of the bath was peeling off and it was dirty where it was peeling. There were rust stains on the bath / tiles. I stayed for 3 nights and the room was barely made up even when I asked / left notice on the door. Bare minimum, bins emptied and towels folded on one day only. The only food is in the RoadChef services and the Leon had run out of pescetarian food by 7 and closed at 8 as do all the other restaurants apart from Macdonalds. This hotel was not super cheap. I expected more. It felt pretty grim.
