Hotel La Palapa

Sehr hübsches einfaches am Strand gelegenes Hotelchen.

Das Restaurant war teuer und schlecht wie viele andere auch in Tamarindo. Der Strand ist ok, man kann eine schöne Strandwanderung unternehmen. Ansonsten sollte man den Ort meiden und lieber in Samara ein paar angenehme Tage verbringen.

Das Hotel ist in einem schlechten Zustand, die Umgebung ungepflegt und es hat nach Abwasser gestunken. Das Frühstück war sehr spärlich!! Die Wäsche war grau und die Handtücher fransten aus! Im Bad kann man sich kaum bewegen, es ist zu eng! Es fehlt gänzlich an einem Konzept für die Ausstattung! Viele kleine Reparaturen sind dringend notwendig

This place was next-level amazing for the value. When we checked in, we had the (owner? manager?) give us a personal tour of the facility to our room. The room was ocean-facing, which was a really nice perk. We were able to park our rental car in a locked lot during our stay (included). The beach access is right there - hotel guests get priority access to hammocks, chairs and tables. Tamarindo is very walkable, so you'll be able to access tons of restaurants, shops and bars in the area. The one drawback has nothing to do with the hotel at all - the club nearby/next door blasted music from 2:30a.m. to 5 a.m. every night we were there, so BRING EARPLUGS. The monkeys can get loud as well, and the iguanas loudly walk on your roof. Hotel guests also get access to $35 massages on the beach (bring cash) and it was one of the most calming, relaxing massages of my life with the sound of crashing waves during it. Overall, would come back to this hotel every time I'm in Tamarindo.
