A wedding on a Tuesday night, we were not notified prior to arrival or at check in that a wedding was on and we were above the ball room where was high beat music till late, door banging till 2am. We understand weddings are supposed to be fun etc but we would have stayed elsewhere if we knew a wedding was taking place - We Won’t be back anytime soon.

A great location for this hotel with lovely views from the rooms. The food is excellent, both the dinners and the cooked breakfasts, and staff are friendly and helpful. Just a few tweaks would make things even better: 1. The music in the restaurant and, especially the bar, is too loud and intrusive 2. The pastries at breakfast were stale 3. In both our rooms a handyman was needed as the grab rails in both bathrooms were coming away from the wall and there were parts missing from the shower controls 4. The spa massage treatment was great but changing room facilities weren't so good with inadequate locker space and little room to change. Apart from those minor reservations we would be very happy to return!
