The staff at Riad Layla were very helpful, including sorting out laundry for us, and providing us with breakfast to go on the morning we checked out when we had to leave very early. The other morning where we were able to have breakfast on the terrace was excellent - very fresh and great variety. There are a lot of stairs to the terrace! The main courtyard was beautifully presented and maintained, and provided a great sense of calm and quiet. Our room was nice, but there were a few things in the bathroom that could be better maintained: a lightbulb needed replacing, the lightswitch was loose from the wall with wires exposed, and it was incredibly hard to turn the shower handle tight enough to stop it from dripping

Primeiramente o quarto era lindo! Ar condicionado gelando de verdade, isso por si só já valeria a pena. O quarto era gigante e muito confortável. A cama realmente boa! Café da manhã foi simples porém bem gostoso com uma vista incrível. Nosso chuveiro estava com um probleminha que ele começava a descer água do nada, mas como só tocamos 2 noites nem nos incomodamos e descemos pra fechar direito. Fica bem localizado, porém carro não para na porta. Sempre olhe exatamente no Google maps antes de ir. Fora isso, perfeito!

We stayed at Riad Layla (suite Alia) for three nights. The place is beautiful and within Fes Medina. Breakfast was served on the terrace which we quite enjoyed. Our room was spacious, well maintained, clean and beautifully decorated. Even the bathroom was very aesthetically pleasing. The suite is on the top floor so might not be convenient for some people but apart from that, everything was amazing. The staff were also incredibly nice! On our last day we had to depart at 6AM and one of the staff members very kindly and thoughtfully packed us breakfast! We ordered food through a delivery app and missed the driver’s call, he was kind enough to collect the food and bring it upstairs for us. All in all it was a very comfortable stay. Would recommend.

I really enjoyed my stay! The location is perfect. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The Riad is beautiful. Rooftop is great. I would stay here again!

It's ok as a place to sleep for a couple of nights, and the location is good. However, it's rather dark and damp, and the bathroom didn't feel clean, I guess because it's quite an old property. Breakfast portions were very small. The manager was very helpful, and packed us a takeaway breakfast for our early checkout.
