Super friendly staff and great breakfast, everything being walkable and picturesque, close to boats, great dining and attractions, makes this place perfect for a great-away!! Hidden gem (by locals 😉)

Stayed 2 nights

Seaview was a small window. Walls are very thin. If you value sleep maybe try somewhere else. Room was ok size and shower had great pressure but shower head was broken so we can to wedge it ensure water stayed on us. No brewing stuff in the room, you have to ask for hot water. Breakfast plenty of choice and staff were friendly.

Stayed 2 nights

The hotel is fairly nice, and should be a classy, tasteful place - but at nighttime it's very NOISY because the bar on the first floor operates until 0100 (at least...) with very loud rock music played at high volume. For both nights of my stay I had throbbing rock thumping in my room and I could not sleep until 0200. On Sunday morning it was only quiet for 5 HOURS 0200-0700. The staff arrived to set up breakfast and started playing loud music again! Another weird thing: there's a bar on the ground floor that's closed but the same music plays on speakers in the street full blast: it must be hell for the neighbours as well as the guests with rooms above. I do not understand the service ethos of this hotel. It felt like the bar was more important than the hotel guests, and that if you asked them to respect the hotel guests' right to a decent night's sleep they would ignore you. I had a miserable weekend here. Other problems: in a room that cost 3500 SEK/283 UKL/325 EUR per night, you would expect a safe, tea and coffee-making facilities and bottles of water: there were none of these basic amenities. We expected the housekeeping to make up the room at least once on the weekend and they failed to do so (we left the 'Please make up the room' tag on the door, a waste of time). The breakfast was okay. The dining room's kitchen was slow, but produced amazing food and the service was fairly attentive although the wait staff were embarrassed by the slow kitchen.
