Heavenly Valley Lodge

Old motel. Was fairly clean overall. There was black mold around the shower from the obvious water damage around the shower door. The bed was comfortable. It is at a busy 4 way stoplight. We had the room in the end toward the street and it was pretty noisy in the morning. Only stayed one night chose a different place for the second night.

Our room was clean, cozy and decorated nicely. The fireplace wasn't working correctly in the first room so Rosie, the head housekeeper was extremely helpful in setting us up in a similar room. She went out of her way to assure that we were happy and comfortable with the second room. We will definitely recommend this place to our friends and will stay there when we visit So. Lake Tahoe next.

Super cute rooms for a reasonable price centrally located to everything. We'll definitely be back.

The room is really clean. Very very small. Watering shower drains slow and toilet may stop up. But for the money it’s a good cheap place to stay

There is no staff but the housekeepers do a good job cleaning. There is no Hot tub that I am aware of. The room was small and quaint. However be careful because the advertised room price did not match what I was charged. I contacted hotels.com and they said sometimes it can change after booking and mine went up! I have never had that happen before with any other place I've stayed so I don't know if its this lodge or hotels.com that is responsible for the deceptive pricing. my guess is hotels.com.
