The Wifi did not work in the room. I requested an upgrade as a Platinum member at a VIP Access hotel and they did not respond. I made several requests through the whatsapp numbers and they did not respond. The phone in my room did not work, I notified them and they did not respond. They called taxis for me that did not use meters in their taxis and the prices they charged to go to the clock tower were too high compared to services I took coming back traveling the same distance or more. One taxi driver the hotel called for me did not have change so I spent 10,000 more than the already overpriced fare. Although the staff was friendly, they were unattentive and seemed unaware of the various unprofessional things they were doing.

Outstanding hotel with amazing staff. We had a corner room with a second bed and bathroom in a mezannie. Very comfortable beds in an outstanding location. Great breakfast. Closed to the bars and restaurants in Getsemani, but far enough to keep the noise away. That said, the hotel seats next to a busy road, and the drivers in Cartagena love to honk their horns, so earplugs are a must for sleeping (I always wear ear plugs when sleeping in hotels anyways). We slept great despite of the traffic. You can walk everywhere in Cartagena from this hotel. The hotel architecture and rooms are perfect, but the pool can use some love. Not a deal braker. I would definitely stay here again because of its location.
