Nuestra estancia en el hotel fue maravillosa el personal increíble súper simpático rápido en la atención la habitación muy linda y repetiría sin pensármelo dos veces y el hotel además está en un sitio inmejorable las instalaciones son una maravilla os lo recomiendo chicos

Completely messed up our bill by charging our card without authority at £135, for charges for another customer breakfast and evening dinner charges. After complaining refunded our account but still has £135 held against our account 6 days on. So have £135 deducted, £135 refunded and a further £135 still pending. Email the hotel to request release of the continued error by them but no response. This hotel should not be incorrectly charging their customers without any authorisation and signature to confirm the service was provided. This hotel should therefore be steered clear of until they put proper systems in place to ensure costs are booked to the correct room.

Great pub, friendly helpful staff, v. dog friendly. Nice well appointed comfortable room. Food, fish and chips, tasted good but batter, mushy peas snd chips showed signs of reheating. Breakfast good.

Another lovely place run by the group, only issue was the noisy people on the patio who were up until 12:30, fortunately I didn’t have an early start, but if you want an early night, probably best to request a room at the back

Usually when I’m not happy with a stay, I just put it down to experience and don’t bother to review it. Our stay at the Hawk was a long journey breaker, so we arrived latish, and left early. On this occasion I just think it is worth giving my thoughts, on room 4 at least: Positives - nice bedroom decor, lovely bed/ bedding, friendly staff. Negatives- TV… no signal, didn’t work at all, aerial lead simply didn’t fit properly… and had to have been that way for a while. Bathroom… some nice fittings, but overall grubby, with dirt and paint flakes from a pretty awful window on the window sill (also must have been like it for ages). Shower door wouldn’t stay closed.. drain blocked and filling up tray.. resulting in wet floor. Grubby shower tray overall. Pop up plug in the sink wouldn’t stay down, so as a wet shaver, I couldn’t fill the sink. No wi-fi in the room, wi-fi in the bar pretty useless too. Bin hadn’t been emptied after previous occupier. And finally, two huge mugs that would be more suitable for housing koi carp than making a cup of tea, and not one glass to use for drinking water. I know I sound like the hotel inspector, but really I’m just getting tired of this sort of thing, and it’s not difficult to get it right.
