Asteria Hotel

Hotellets läge är fantastiskt! Rent men slitet. Rummet vi hade för 2 personer var litet, men den fantastiska balkongen ut mot stranden kompenserade. Frukosten var ok. Hotellet behöver en genomgång. Vi hade dock mycket bra dagar för det pris vi betalade.

The hotel is long overdue for a makeover. The rooms are clean. Hot water is hit or miss. The breakfast was inedible. There are strange noises in the night.

Dårlig bad/dusj. Ok rom, flott sjøutsikt. Elendig romvask. Byttet ikke sengetøyet!! Måtte gi beskjed om alt, ta ut brukte håndklær, legg inn nye, toalettpapir mangler osv. osv. Personalet helt fraværende, bortsett ifra kjøkkenpersonalet, de holdt faktisk oppe humøret til alle gjestene med sitt smittende gode humør!. Har vært gjest på dette hotellet tidligere, dette var siste besøket her. Takk for meg.

Location of this hotel is its best feature. It’s right on the beach with beautiful views for many of its rooms. Markets and excellent restaurants are steps away as well. Staff were helpful and very nice, providing us with extra pillows and a room kettle. Breakfast was included and was better than Continental with scrambled eggs and Greek salad à la carte along with the usual goodies. Having said that, hotel needs a going over maintenance wise. The connecting garden to the beach was a collection of weeds and overgrown bushes. With an old boat and other debris. The mats for sand and foot wash area were always full of sand. This could be a very nice area to walk to beach if fixed up a bit. Our rooms shower was nice enough but the shower head/wand needed replacement. It leaked badly and was the end was covered in black mold. The toilet seat was hanging on by one bolt. Fridge worked well as did the AC. TV was older style with a couple English channels but thats not what we came for anyway.
