This is a classic hotel. Right downtown so we were able to walk all about. The free breakfast was AMAZING. Quiche baked oatmeal, etc..

Don't stay at this property unless you only want a few hours of sleep. We were there on a Friday night and tried to get to sleep early. We had flights that left on Saturday at 530 and needed to leave the hotel by 345am. The drag racing on the main street outside our windows started at 730ish and continued. At 845 I went to the front desk and asked the person to call the police. She didn't even ask me why but said the racing would be stopping around 9 and offered my ear plugs.I wear hearing aids that I had already taken out and could still hear everything At 9ish the racing slowed down, but didn't stop until 1030. So much for getting a good night's sleep. My friend who was in another room never did get any sleep. The reason for two rooms when only one was requested was because they ran out of two bed rooms. In essence we paid $200.00 (that was the discount for the room problem) not to get any sleep. Lovely property and staff but they have a major problem with the city allowing this to take place. It took several days for both of us just to recover the lack of sleep from that evening.

We loved our stay at the Grand Hotel. So quant and the building is beautiful. BRYSON was at the front desk and was awesome with making sure our stay was comfortable. We will happily return. Rooms are smaller than your typical rooms but the building is old and it fits the mood.

Hotel is clean and comfortable. I really like the nostalgic feeling you get when staying there. The staff was friendly and helpful. Short of the road noise (which you can expect since it's right on main street) and the bar fight (police involved) that happened across the street, it was a great evening. I have stayed there before and will stay again. Also, they have really good coffee in the morning.
