We loved this old hotel built in 1912! It’s like we stepped back in time. The lobby was beautifully furnished and the general area where breakfast was served was delightful for card games in the evening. The rooms were equipped with modern amenities even while the windows and doors had an old world charm. We could park our car in the adjacent lot for $10 a day and breakfast had hot oatmeal and quiche, besides very fresh homemade coffee cakes, yogurt with fresh berries of the area. The lobby had popcorn and fresh baked cookies all afternoon and evening, great for our card games! We would stay here again!

Newly remodeled lobby, super friendly staff, and cozy historic rooms make this an awesome downtown option to other chain hotels. The included continental breakfast is really good, and there is great western/native themed artwork throughout the building. Oh, and pets are welcome (with no extra fee!). Will definitely stay here again when my travel plans allow.

A very old hotel, not all rooms have been updated and they are small. Elevator is small 4x4 and very slow for a 3 story building. Two 20min. parking spots at front door, need parking ticket to park in rear public parking lot

Beautiful historic hotel in downtown Kalispell, within easy walking distance to shops and restaurants. I’ll take this type of property over a cookie-cutter hotel on the interstate any day of the week. Bathroom was small, our room had only one small sitting chair (in addition to a desk & chair), but it was clean & tidy and the bed was very comfortable. There were plenty of common sitting areas on each floor as well as a beautiful space in the main lobby. The continental breakfast served in the main lobby was fantastic - try the baked oatmeal! Also the homemade chocolate chip cookies prepared each day, along with popcorn, for guests to enjoy each evening. A very unique and personal experience that made our trip to the area even more enjoyably memorable!

It is a in a historic building with very well done upgrades. A great choice for someone looking for a more unique experience than a chain hotel. In close proximity to Glacier National Park. Pets allowed and the staff was very helpful / friendly.

Average hotel. Unfortunately when I went to my room after checking in around 6pm it was not cleaned and had garbage and unmade bed. They gave me another room of course however was not given a wifi password and elevator was out of service.

Hotel is exceptionally clean and service was outstanding. Parking was easy with a parking lot located right behind the hotel. Breakfast was simple but they had some yummy quiche and an oatmeal bake, along w/ breads and jams. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Loved the lobby and the check-in. Room was clean, but pretty dated, and not in a historic way. With the in-window air conditioner we could hear everything outside. It did not help that trucks were revving up and down main street until late. Appreciated the breakfast.

We love staying in old history filled hotels in small towns. This one was great in the middle of a beautiful renovation. The only set back was the rooms were the smallest we have ever encountered.

This property was very clean with a comfortable bed. I really liked the walkability of the location, and the continental breakfast was quite good. I didn't like the incredibly slow elevator (I was afraid it had stopped and we might be stuck in it the one time I rode it to the third floor), the room was tiny, I would have preferred a bathtub (but the water in the shower struggled to stay warm, so a tub may not have been a benefit), the air conditioner was super loud, and it would have been nice to have a coffee maker. Overall, a fair stay, but I paid way too much for the room in the high season. I would not stay for anywhere near that price again. Also- bring earplugs for sleeping, it can get really noisy due to traffic. Sometimes we could even hear it over the air conditioner, and that's saying something.

Hotel was charming and historic. Desk staff was probably the best we've experienced at anything below 4-star hotel stays. While we appreciated the lobby having both ice water and an air pot with hot water, the room having no fridge or microwave or coffee maker presented a challenge for us as business travels where we needed to get back to the room very late where we could not eat at local restaurants so we had to only have food in our room that we could buy at the local grocery store but not keep cold. We had a room with one king bed and one double. The king bed was fantastic, but at one point we used the double while napping and that mattress was really worn out (like a "V" when you laid on it). Overall we had an A-level experience with this property and for pleasure travel would absolutely stay here again. Just not a place we can use again for business travel.

this hotel above and beyond they were the only hotel that allowed us to check in early as we had a funeral to attend and we’re in town early in the morning. They may check in super easy and made sure to clean our room first thing in the morning so we could get checked in. We were so beyond grateful for the customer service we received. We will definitely be back the next time we are in Kalispell.

Have stayed at the Grand many times and always pleased with our stay. The staff were exceedingly helpful during our stay with a special shout out to Audrey. I highly recommend staying here and will be back ourselves

They did charge us $10/day for parking even tho the website said free parking. After we complained they did remove the charge.

Really enjoyed staying here. I loved that it was so walkable and right in the middle of the historic old town. The location couldn’t have been better. The rooms were comfortable and tidy. The full breakfast was outstanding, and the staff went above and beyond.

The location was fantastic! Right on Main Street with parking and cool shops. The only reason this isnt 5 star was because my room looked over Main Street and there was street racing all night. No fault of the hotel.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel and it was awesome! This hotel was beautifully renovated while keeping true to its western history. It is located right in the heart of downtown historical Kalispell. Park the car and walk the center. The room was quant and tastefully decorated. The continental breakfast was nice. It wasn’t the typical waffles and cheap box muffins. They served homemade potato and cheese quiche, baked oatmeal, homemade cinnamon bread with huckleberry jam. Very tasteful! I highly recommend this little bit of history.

We stayed here for 2 nights while visiting Glacier NP and really enjoyed it. It's right in the middle of the historic district of Kalispell and the hotel itself is historic (a major plus for us). Yes, the room was a bit on the small side but we loved the location and charm of this hotel. The breakfast was good, and walking around the historic district in the evenings was quite enjoyable. Parking is in the public lot right behind the hotel (the hotel gives you a parking pass). It did get a bit noisy one evening from some street noise but nothing problematic. It's about a 40 minute drive to the western entrance of Glacier.

The front desk was extremely helpful -- I accidentally only reserved for one night and they were able to extend our reservation another night on a holiday weekend. THe continenal breakfast was great with generous pieces of quiche, fresh scones, and cinnamon rolls.

Hotel is exceptionally clean and service was outstanding. Parking was easy with a parking lot located right behind the hotel. Breakfast was simple but they had some yummy quiche and an oatmeal bake, along w/ breads and jams. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Nice lobby, antique feeling. Pleasant staff, mattress was terrible. Edges had compressed feeling like you were about to fall out of bed. Very small rooms. Breakfast just OK no variety day by day. Over priced for what you get.

So charming! It’s an older hotel that has been completely renovated to retain the character of the original building. Breakfast is included and far exceeded our expectations. The baked oatmeal and the quiche were homemade and delicious!

Quaint hotel. Under the quaint, it’s still an old hotel. Not very sound proof from the outside. VERY noisy on weekends with loud cars. Aside from that staff was very nice & breakfast was great.

Room and bathroom was rather small and window AC was kind of loud but the hotel is.historic and 115 years old. Breakfast was real good. Wish the room.had a refrigerator. I thought the.$300 price for a king room.was rather high.
