Beautiful and spacious roo with kitchen. Well stocked. We loved it. The restaurant was not functioning , but they arranged free breakfast about a block up the road. Sasha and Zabay at the front desk were excellent.

Hotel Palma Royale was a good property, we stayed in the suite so we had a kitchen, which was fun as we were able to cook and entertain friends that also traveled with us. Its a cozy hotel, and has all you will need. However, there are water jugs in the hallways for guests; it ran out and we called letting know, they mentioned it wouldnt be refilled until the next day because "there wasnt many guests staying that night". The elevator is very small as well, literally only fits 1 person and their luggage or 2 people without luggage. Other than that it was a decent property and focal location.

We enjoyed our four night stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable and we really liked having a balcony overlooking the docks. It was very useful having a kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the Buena Vista restaurant was delicious. We felt that the location meant it was quieter than other more central hotels might be. Drinking water is provided and a laundry service offered at a very reasonable cost.

Bien ubicado para ir a las salidas de excursiones andando y cerca de la zona de ambiente sin estar dentro de ella con el ruido que supondría. I like the location. It was at the quieter end of the busy street. Room was nice: big, clean, comfy bed and pillows, big bathroom, air con and ceiling fan, a little deck. The mini fridge was also great to have as there’s mini markets just a block away. Access to refilling water on each floor was great.

Loved the quick access to the dock for excursions. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room had a great view of the water and dock where the ferry comes in. Patio was a nice spot to relax after a day of adventures. Room was kept clean and always felt safe. Hotel is located a bit away from the majority of activities and restaurants, but only a short walk to be in it all. Would stay here again.

The Palma Royale is across the street from the ferry and within a five minute walk to everything Bocas has to offer. The staff is fantastic and the room was comfortable and very clean. The entire town is noisy during the day and some of the town is noisy at night. Palma Royale is quiet and comfortable when the sun sets.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay at the Palma Royale. We found the suite very spacious and great for all of our needs. We especially enjoyed the wrap around porch where we were able to take in amazing views of the water. The front desk staff were all accommodating and happy to help us with anything we needed. I would highly recommend this hotel!

If you don’t like the sound of local music at 1am playing outside your hotel this isn’t the room for you. I actually enjoyed it and found it soothing. The penthouse suite was very large and spacious. The main reason I chose this unit was the fact that it had AC which was hard to find in the area

The hotel is great, big rooms, big bathroom and comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast was great. We had issues with the internet, signal was poor but the mentioned it was because the heavy rain in the mountains. The hotel is just in front of one of the piers to take tours to other islands.

This was a lovely hotel, we are glad we stayed here. The hotel is based towards to south part of Bocas town, within 10 mins walk of the main area where all the restaurants and bars start, along with the public water taxi pier. Staff are super friendly and helpful, and made our stay an excellent experience. Highly recommend. 10/10.

The property is on the corner of the island, so it is less noisy, but the property is not on the water like many other hotels. Rooms were clean and maintained with AC and Water (drinking and bath). My only complain is airport pick up. I didnt know that airport pick was available, so we took self-paid taxi. However, hotel staff mentioned that only one way is provided by the hotel which didnt make sense. Overall, good experience.

This hotel was amazing and truly a gem in the area. It’s a little further from the main area but I enjoyed that aspect and there’s a dock right across to catch a water taxi. Very convenient. The front desk staff was so attentive and nice. Suli was especially kind to us! I would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was right in front of a boat dock which was so convenient for excursions, walking distance from many restaurants and bars. The staff were attentive and kind. We got sick (i believe food poisoning) and the front desk staff were kind enough to get us gatorade, medice and cleaned our bathroom. Overall, really nice stay, would recommend 👌

I couldn't wait to write this review! Amazing, Awesome, Delightful. The Hotel staff of ladies made my stay the absolute best. ALWAYS courteous & attentive to whatever I may have asked. The room/suite gave me a great view each morning of the bay & main street, not to mention a great patio to sit on when the rain came at night. I could listen to the vibrant sounds of water taxis hurrying through the water, or locals & other tourist conversing as they walked by below. My room was always a comfort after a day out. The bathroom was detailed & beautiful. The air conditioning really relaxed us after a good shower. But ince again it was truly the Staff that makes this place everything. Their English was great, their guidance & overall knowledge & recommendations where never wrong and their smiles are electric & affectionate. This Hotel is one if not the BEST in Bocus Town.

This was a lovely hotel, we are glad we stayed here. The hotel is based towards to south part of Bocas town, within 10 mins walk of the main area where all the restaurants and bars start, along with the public water taxi pier. Staff are super friendly and helpful, and made our stay an excellent experience. Highly recommend. 10/10.

Loved the quick access to the dock for excursions. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room had a great view of the water and dock where the ferry comes in. Patio was a nice spot to relax after a day of adventures. Room was kept clean and always felt safe. Hotel is located a bit away from the majority of activities and restaurants, but only a short walk to be in it all. Would stay here again.

This hotel was amazing and truly a gem in the area. It’s a little further from the main area but I enjoyed that aspect and there’s a dock right across to catch a water taxi. Very convenient. The front desk staff was so attentive and nice. Suli was especially kind to us! I would definitely stay here again!

I travel quite frequently to Panama and Bocas Del Toro and Palma Royale is my favorite hotel in Bocas Town. Located at the end of the Main Street with a great see view and more quite and chilled atmosphere, seconds from some of the best restaurants and bars, and minutes from the beaches in Carenero Island. Comfort and luxurious rooms, fully equipped and decorated, most welcoming and helpful team. Always a pleasure to stay here. Highly recommended.

The Palma Royale is across the street from the ferry and within a five minute walk to everything Bocas has to offer. The staff is fantastic and the room was comfortable and very clean. The entire town is noisy during the day and some of the town is noisy at night. Palma Royale is quiet and comfortable when the sun sets.

The hotel is great, big rooms, big bathroom and comfy beds and pillows. Breakfast was great. We had issues with the internet, signal was poor but the mentioned it was because the heavy rain in the mountains. The hotel is just in front of one of the piers to take tours to other islands.

Beautiful and spacious roo with kitchen. Well stocked. We loved it. The restaurant was not functioning , but they arranged free breakfast about a block up the road. Sasha and Zabay at the front desk were excellent.

We enjoyed our four night stay at the hotel. The room was spacious and comfortable and we really liked having a balcony overlooking the docks. It was very useful having a kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast at the Buena Vista restaurant was delicious. We felt that the location meant it was quieter than other more central hotels might be. Drinking water is provided and a laundry service offered at a very reasonable cost.

It is a nice hotel with a good location that is reasonably priced. Staff was nice! Breakfast daily at the Buena Vista was very good. My recommendations would be improvement in the pillows. I travel weekly all over the world. These were the largest, hardest most uncomfortable pillows I have ever used. Would be an easy fix. A good night sleep is important.

Sehr geräumiges und modern eingerichtetes Zimmer. Wir sind mit Kind gereist und hatten ein extra Zimmer, also bot das Zimmer viel Platz. Es war top sauber! Lage großartig, da nicht zu laut (da etwas abgelegen) aber auch nicht zu weit weg vom dem highlife der Hauptstraße oder Flughafen, alles fussläufig. Fähre/Speedboothafen genau gegenüber Frühstück ist mit inbegriffen, aber es war 150 m von der Unterkunft entfernt, dafür ein schönes Restaurant mit Meerblick. Rezeption sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Alles in allem etwas teuer was den Übernachtungspreis angeht, aber total lohnenswert.

This hotel is very conveniently located in Bocas town-across the street from one of the water taxi stands and a 1 minute walk to Bocas Dive Center. It’s on the quieter side of town, which we appreciated. The breakfast restaurant is not actually on site-maybe a 4 minute walk away, but is lovely. We had issues with the wifi being inconsistent but I’m not sure if that was an issue with the hotel itself or an issue due to being on the island. We enjoyed the view from our small balcony and the fact that there was a big water station to refill water bottles since the tap water is not recommended for drinking.

Avoid Room # 402 at all costs. This room has a major odor problem in the bathroom and should not be rented to anyone in this condition. The smell of sewage rises through a drain cover on the bathroom floor. We identified the problem from day one, but no serious attempt was made to correct it. After a few days, they covered the drain cover, but this did not fix the problem. The woman who is mostly at the front desk during the day had a very defensive attitude about this problem. She pretended not to have known about the problem before our arrival and seemed to be in denial of it. Her approach tainted our experience at this hotel. The majority of staff were friendly and helpful, and interacted well with us. The WFI was disconnected every 5 minutes, so it is a big time waster. All things considered, I would not recommend this hotel to others who desire a peaceful stay.
