Everything about the hotel is great. Note, that there is no elevator and overnight parking is 1/2 block away, but temporary parking is on-site. It gets noisy on the sidewalk with music, skateboarding, singing, laughing, etc, but that is also what makes Venice Beach great. If you want quiet, stay in a suburb away from entertainment and water.

Su Casa was a great inn for Santa Monica. We're right on the beach so it was easy to go surfing, walk the beach, and grab good food. We had the queen suite--suite was clean and we had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. Good for: having a home base to explore downtown Santa Monica by foot. Avoid if: you need parking or if you're turned off by locals being locals.

Amazing Hotel!!! Our friend who lives near by was with us when we checked in so they gave us a free upgrade to a more “spacious” room. This included a pull out bed and a balcony with a gorgeous side view of the beach and the restaurant and walkway below. Staff was super friendly and helpful and we always felt safe. It is a smaller hotel (12-15 rooms) but still amazing service. There is a restaurant below the hotel that is great as well. It can be a tiny bit noisy just because of the restaurant and how small the hotel is but it was never an issue. Only downside was no parking but that is 90% of hotels on the boardwalk. But there’s plenty of valet options that on the same street and again worth the money spent. Will definitely be booking here again the next time I’m staying in Santa Monica!!!

The room I had was great! Very quiet at night even though I was right on Venice beach. The internet was slow and I unfortunately didn't get cell phone reception from my room. Otherwise, it was fine for my vacation and I would stay there again.

It was difficult to find. They have two or three parking spots that they have reserved for check-in. I stayed in one of the cottages. It was extremely cold in California and there is only one heater in the hole of the cottage and that's the main bedroom. The floor was extremely cold. There were some cobwebs and spiders. The main bedroom had a larger bed, maybe a queen, but it was very cheap furniture and a very cheap mattress that was set on springs, not a boxspring, so it was very bouncy. They had curtains but they were not blackout drapes and since that was the more quiet bedroom, that's the one I stayed in. Unfortunately it's very bright at night and there was a motion sensor light in that alleyway that kept getting triggered. Parking is not cool. I realize it's the beach and you pay for the access to the beach. Don't expect to park your car cheaper than $50 a night in a nearby lot. You also have to leave your keys with a lot attendance or go in the morning and give them to the attendance. I think on the hall it was the wrong time to be there and I think it would be much better stay if they spend a little more on the furnishings so that was comfortable since it's about the only thing in there

We had a wonderful stay! Room was clean, updated and lovely. It is next to the beach! We had a beautiful balcony and could see the beach from there. We enjoyed Su Casa and would stay there again, but there were a few things that might be a problem for some folks…The hotel sits above a restaurant (The Fig, if I remember right) it was quite noisy both nights. We didn’t have a car so it was not an issue for us, but there is no parking. Also, it is a bit tricky to find. Our Uber driver dropped us in an ally, you have to walk around the building, the entrance is kind of hidden in the restaurant’s outdoor eating area.

Pros: Right on the beach. It gets surprisingly quiet after 11pm. Fig Tree restaurant is be low the hotel and is very good. Cons: You can not drive up to this property so it is very confusing if you are arriving with a car. Parking is challenging, be prepared to park a few blocks away and get up before 8am to move the car. The windows are screwed shut so you can not enjoy the sea breeze. The pullout couch is very cheap and very uncomfortable. Did not have kitchen supplies stocked and only two bathroom towels for 4 registered people.

Staff was extremely helpful and amazing the whole stay. Rooms and building are clean. There is valet parking next to the hotel (not associated with the hotel) and you can walk right out onto the beach. Will definitely stay there again! There was a gentleman outside the hotel that plays his guitar and just gave it the perfect beach vibes. 10/10

Fantastic little hotel / kitchenette room, excellent facilities right on the beach front, room had everything you required, clean comfortable bed Wi-Fi, power shower, hotel staff were fabulous, great communications, vast knowledge of the area, great links to Santa Monica pier Venice Beach canals, bars restaurants souvenir shops, fantastic area, loved my stay sure to be back 5 ⭐️

It would be very difficult to beat Su Casa for location and value! It is located right on the beach front with a lovely little outdoor dining area. Our accommodation was a very nice self-contained unit looking directly out over Venice Beach. What made this so special for us however, was the exceptional service afforded to us by the lady on duty at the reception desk. We had a very late evening flight to catch and she very kindly arranged a place for us to rest and shower before our departure at no extra charge! She probably will not appreciate me telling this story as now everyone will ask for it lol! If you are looking for something affordable on Venice Beach, this place would be very hard to beat!

Robert at the front desk was super cheerful and helpful. The location is awesome. Our room was delightful, with modern touches and an expansive view of the beach and the Pacific. The restaurant on the ground floor is phenomenal too.

Robert at the front desk was super cheerful and helpful. The location is awesome. Our room was delightful, with modern touches and an expansive view of the beach and the Pacific. The restaurant on the ground floor is phenomenal too.

Amazing Hotel!!! Our friend who lives near by was with us when we checked in so they gave us a free upgrade to a more “spacious” room. This included a pull out bed and a balcony with a gorgeous side view of the beach and the restaurant and walkway below. Staff was super friendly and helpful and we always felt safe. It is a smaller hotel (12-15 rooms) but still amazing service. There is a restaurant below the hotel that is great as well. It can be a tiny bit noisy just because of the restaurant and how small the hotel is but it was never an issue. Only downside was no parking but that is 90% of hotels on the boardwalk. But there’s plenty of valet options that on the same street and again worth the money spent. Will definitely be booking here again the next time I’m staying in Santa Monica!!!

Staff was extremely helpful and amazing the whole stay. Rooms and building are clean. There is valet parking next to the hotel (not associated with the hotel) and you can walk right out onto the beach. Will definitely stay there again! There was a gentleman outside the hotel that plays his guitar and just gave it the perfect beach vibes. 10/10

It would be very difficult to beat Su Casa for location and value! It is located right on the beach front with a lovely little outdoor dining area. Our accommodation was a very nice self-contained unit looking directly out over Venice Beach. What made this so special for us however, was the exceptional service afforded to us by the lady on duty at the reception desk. We had a very late evening flight to catch and she very kindly arranged a place for us to rest and shower before our departure at no extra charge! She probably will not appreciate me telling this story as now everyone will ask for it lol! If you are looking for something affordable on Venice Beach, this place would be very hard to beat!

Su Casa was a great inn for Santa Monica. We're right on the beach so it was easy to go surfing, walk the beach, and grab good food. We had the queen suite--suite was clean and we had everything we needed for our 3 day stay. Good for: having a home base to explore downtown Santa Monica by foot. Avoid if: you need parking or if you're turned off by locals being locals.

We had a wonderful stay! Room was clean, updated and lovely. It is next to the beach! We had a beautiful balcony and could see the beach from there. We enjoyed Su Casa and would stay there again, but there were a few things that might be a problem for some folks…The hotel sits above a restaurant (The Fig, if I remember right) it was quite noisy both nights. We didn’t have a car so it was not an issue for us, but there is no parking. Also, it is a bit tricky to find. Our Uber driver dropped us in an ally, you have to walk around the building, the entrance is kind of hidden in the restaurant’s outdoor eating area.

Fantastic little hotel / kitchenette room, excellent facilities right on the beach front, room had everything you required, clean comfortable bed Wi-Fi, power shower, hotel staff were fabulous, great communications, vast knowledge of the area, great links to Santa Monica pier Venice Beach canals, bars restaurants souvenir shops, fantastic area, loved my stay sure to be back 5 ⭐️

Pros: Right on the beach. It gets surprisingly quiet after 11pm. Fig Tree restaurant is be low the hotel and is very good. Cons: You can not drive up to this property so it is very confusing if you are arriving with a car. Parking is challenging, be prepared to park a few blocks away and get up before 8am to move the car. The windows are screwed shut so you can not enjoy the sea breeze. The pullout couch is very cheap and very uncomfortable. Did not have kitchen supplies stocked and only two bathroom towels for 4 registered people.
