They charged additional for a 3 year old? Gouging! Not cool!

Lovely property in a lovely historic city center. Food was excellent, service was great. They assisted us in hiring a driver for a day to take us to a winery and some area sites. (Alessandro) Highly recommend.

The hotel is beautiful, the scenery is amazing and the place offers a serenity that brings immediate peace and tranquillity. The only reason that I’m giving 4 stars is that the restaurant has some serious staffing issues. There are no vegetarian dishes on the menu, you need to let them know in advance so that they can prepare something, and don’t let the waiter convince you that you are half board because that can cause issues. The staff in reception are brilliant though, friendly and helpful. They helped turn a negative experience into a positive one. We would go back to this hotel, but maybe eat elsewhere.

Wir haben ein Upgrade auf 2 Suiten im 3. Stock des Nebengebäuden bekommen, die waren sehr großzügig, sehr schön ausgestattet und mit einem tollen Blick ins Tal. Auch der Wellnessbereich, insbesondere die Außenflächen war sehr schön wie auch die Schloß-Räumlichkeiten. Auch das Frühstück war sehr reichhaltig und vielfältig und das Abendessen war gut. Der einzige Minuspunkt war der chaotische Service beim Abendessen. Da wurden Dinge vergessen, trotz mehrfacher Nachfrage nur nach großer Verzögerung gebracht, die MA waren nicht aufeinander abgestimmt, die Abrechnung war falsch.
