There was constant jack hammering every day at the pool. You couldn’t get away from it. It was so noisy and dusty. They were even doing construction in the lobby. It was really frustrating and not relaxing at all. There were workmen taking videos of guests in the pool. Extremely unprofessional. I wouldn’t recommend this place for a relaxing vacation. We purposely paid extra for an ocean side view only to hear Jack hammering even when we were in our room. There are no posted menus on their website anywhere. I had to go down to the front desk to ask for menus.

Lovely city, lovely setting, great staff. The beach leaves something to be desired and requires shoes to be walked on. The pools were regularly cleaned but still had tree/human debris in them. Three hot tubs and not a single one has warm water in it, just pool water. Swim up pool bar was closed our whole stay. Many of the restaurants were closed or serving food in takeout containers only so options were limited. It was fine, nothing went wrong while we were there, but it absolutely could have been better and was not as advertised.

Just what we wanted for our short family getaway. A secluded property on a private beach with many swimming pools. The staff were delightful. And the hotel had many dining options to suit the different tastes of my family members. We rented a vehicle at the airport and enjoyed being able to come and go anytime with free parking at the property. Any minor issues we had were resolved very quickly, except one: never was able to connect to hotel wifi from our room.

I was surprised this was a Westin as it didn’t live up to the excellence I’ve come to expect from this brand.The room was good but I was unable to open the door to the patio. The beach and pool area was good but ants were literally crawling all over the lounge chairs. The spa experience was poor - dirty changing area, clogged toilets, empty TP rolls. The massage was akin to Massage Envy. The food was meh. The server actually forgot that he’d seated me & took care of others who arrived after me. Info about the hotel was printed on small sheets of copy paper — something you’d get at a 2-star hotel. This may be good for some people but I have higher standards for a Westin.

Ok,so this place is decent, but not a 4 or 5 star. Lights don't work,phone didn't work, huge language barrier. Its outdated,the ocean is dirty,the water and the rubbish coming to shore every day. If you want a great experience on vacation try elsewhere. Food is not great either.

We stayed here from January 18-22, 2025, and it was a beautiful resort! Our room, #902 on the 9th floor, had a spectacular ocean view with a balcony. The room was spacious, clean, and our king-size bed was incredibly comfortable. The resort offers several restaurants, though not all were open during our stay. We ordered food from Starfish and was quite good. The pool area was beautifully designed, with multiple pools to choose from, making for a relaxing experience. The only downside was the cleanliness of the hallways—they were in serious need of vacuuming and mopping. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay!

Property was nice. People were friendly. Didn’t care for any of the food at the restaurants so I opted not to get the all inclusive option. Pools close at 7pm. They are very clean though. The worst part is that o stayed on the six floor and there was this disgusting smell each day at certain times of the day in the hall and also on the room. Eventually I would become nose blind to it but it was heinous. Very relaxing g property though.

Our daughter Emily Smith was moved from 2 rooms during the weeks stay and the first problem the room had mold and was not clean and the second problem was that her ceiling was leaking in the middle of the night and she had to be moved because the ceiling looked soaked and could have fallen down.

I would say a 4 star at best, I stayed in a renewal suite and it definitely is starting to look dated. The view was beautiful however, when facing the pools they would randomly play extremely loud music, to the point on the 16th floor you would hear the bass. No point napping here. Also, we were supposed to get perks like upgraded wifi and a special area for snacks and such…never happened. It was alright but nothing special.

So first off booked this as an all inclusive on Travelocity to arrive and be told we did not book all inclusive. Travelocity blamed the hotel, hotel blamed Travelocity. Decided to make the best of it. The resort is clean, beautiful and modern. The problem is in the service. Nilka, Joel, Reuben & Jahir were phenomenal. Everyone else not so much. We were here off peak 10/15-10/19. The resort was not packed. But there was always a wait. All of the facilities were not open due to lack of people. Swim up bar only on weekends, of the 4 restaurants only 1 aside from Starfish open a night. Starfish was terrible. The specialty restaurants were good. A La carte expect to wait 10 minutes before help or beverages. 40 minutes for food…even if only 2 tables are seated in the restaurant. It really seems to a lack of organization. Ordering a vodka at the bar, bartender had to run and get a bottle from a different bar because they weren’t fully stocked at 10am. At the breakfast buffet you could go get your first plate and finish it before any asked to bring beverages. Seems the resort has fallen off in recent years after Covid and Marriott took over.

The grounds and atmosphere were lovely. We had several issues with the room not being well equipped, i.e. the telephone did not work, light bulbs were out, requested face towels several times. The front desk attendants failed to let us know that our lost luggage had arrived at 11:00 am the day after we arrived. We found out at 4:00 pm after we inquired. I was told that they tried to call us, however the phones did not work in the room along with the radio and alarm. They could have simply knocked on the door. We were in the same clothes for two days.

We inquired prior to check in about laundry available. We where sent to the 8th floor to run a load of laundry, mainly baby and kids clothing. There is no laundry available for guests, despite what their website says. We wondered to the front desk who told us they can run a load for us. They took our laundry and said it would be back in the morning when our room was cleaned. They kept our laundry for two full days after it being dropped off. This left us with no clean clothing, we have a baby and a kid, we had to sleep in dirty clothing two nights in a row. We called multiple times asking where our clothing was, we where told multiple times it will be up in an hour, in 15 minutes, we stopped by the front desk to ask for it three additional times. Going on our third night with no clothing my husband demanded someone go find our clothing. Our laundry had been done and sitting somewhere for a while. The kicker of this is we are being charged almost $300 for a load of laundry that was mainly baby clothing. We would have NEVER allowed the staff to take our clothing if we knew they would charge that amount to keep our clothing from us for almost three days to clean a load of baby clothing. Next, the website shows incorrect hours for restaurants and almost all of them are closed until 6pm. The food was ok, not great, but the kicker is on multiple occasions one persons food would never show up. The server would drop off three out of four plates and walk off and never come back. AVOID

The staff is exceptional! From the room maids, to the staff at the restaurants, to the bar tenders, to the room service, to the pool guys - 5 star service!! The rooms and entire facility was always clean and modern! Be sure to rent a car if you don't get all-inclusive! Only advice is to have more activities engaging the people that want a bit of a "party" atmosphere during the day!

Property is lovely. Good food and campus is quiet at night. Always space for pool or beach. Beach isn’t swimable. It’s ok for nice walk through… ankles deep. Mangrove. Little farther from the main town so you would have to make do with onsite facilities. Strongly advise car to venture off daily.

Location was great. Easy 45 minute ride from the international airport and less than that to local attractions. Food was great at the hotel and always had plenty of options for adults and children. Note: We had the premium package and would recommend. Kudos to the staff for keeping the property, rooms and pools clean at this large facility.

The hotel itself was lovely and the pools were great. I loved being on the ocean, but the beach itself was not very good. The resort was at least a 20 minute drive from the city, and the traffic over the Puente de las Americas was awful during rush hour The resort is also somewhat remote. I wanted to go out to dinner one night without going into Panama City and I found it very difficult to find a decent restaurant.

This is a nice resort on the beach outside Panama City. It is not convenient to the city, but has enough food choices and things to do to keep you busy and happy. The beach is nice and the facility is beautiful with very nice rooms. If you want to swim, you have to use the pools. the beach is very shallow, but great for wading. For the cost, this is a good resort option in the Pacific in Panama.

The location is extraordinary if you wanna get away from the hustle and bustle of a big city, but at the same time it’s also an issue given that there is nothing else around it. Everything is within 10-15 minutes distance in an Uber ride. Going to the city for dinner might be an issue given the traffic and the fact that you have to cross the only available bridge to downtown. You will have the option to schedule tours from the hotel to an independent company that is unreliable and expensive.

Unfortunately a number of restaurants on property were closed and staff gave poor information e.g. that the Italian cafe was only closed on Sundays (but it was also closed on Monday). Really not good selection of restaurants for an independent traveler so went off property to eat. It seems that the hotel is basically a tour location

If your use to all inclusive like RIU, Dreams, or Hyatt this is not the place for you. It’s nothing like an all inclusive. Only 1 choice for breakfast sometimes dinner as well, room service not included in the all inclusive package. And most staff is not friendly.

I regretted booking here, simply because it felt like walking into a hotel in the US. Nothing Panamanian about it. Very expensive food. Full of Americans. There were very limited food options for breakfast, other than the expensive buffet. We ordered room service once, but it took two hours to arrive. Nothing to do in and around the hotel. Rooms are comfortable and clean.
