Easy and fast check in. Friendly people who checked us in. We were able to park our truck and drift boat right in front of our room. A good place to stay if you’re in town to fish.

The hotel was in a nice location, and the staff were friendly. The parking spots were super wide for larger vehicles, which is a bonus for a lot of people! Allowing pets was also a bonus for us. There's plenty of food within walking distance, but most places close pretty early in Brookings. Overall, I'd stay again if we plan to stay in Brookings again.

This stay was for a short time. There arent amenities. Photos were a tad deceiving. There seems to be leaks in the bathrooms. If you want bare minimum this is it. We travel with expecting bare minimum since we dont spend much time inside a hotel room anyway, so it worked for us, but out of 4 different stays in this trip, with all of them cheaper or same price range, this was the most sketchy and dirty. Best thing about this place was a laundry facility. But they should cleam them machines.

Property was advertised as beach front unless a tsunami hits no way. It sits on the opposite side of the highway from the ocean. There was no laundry available even though it was advertised. Ice bucket in room but no working ice machine. Less than a quarter of a roll of toilet tissue in bathroom. Soap dispenser in bathroom for hand washing was empty. Front door had been kicked in sometime in the past. The repair was shoddy at best. Security lock didn't line up so door had to be lifted to get the lock to engage. Otherwise all was great(LOL)

This place looks great in the pictures. Walking in the room, it smells good at first. The beds were nicely made, and were comfy. But it was dirty, the floors had not been mopped in quite some time, there was sand and hair on the bathroom floor, the trash was full, there was a beer can in the trash. My feet were black from walking on the floor. It was quiet, I did feel safe and sound. It was just dirty inside. The price was right..the people in the office were accommodating and pleasant. But I would not stay again.

Our room appeared to be clean with modest furnishings and a comfortable bed. It wasn’t until the morning after taking a shower and walking barefoot in the room that we discovered how filthy the floor actually was. My feet were black!! Had to get back in the shower to clean them and put my shoes on immediately. Spoke to staff on duty who came to look at it and they apologized. Not sure if anything will be done. Would not stay there again.

Wish I could post photos! The dead bolt did not work. Everything was dirty, well not everything. The bed sheets were clean and the inside the tub and toilet were too, thankfully. The floor was filthy, I took a shower and walked around the room before bed. My feet were disgustingly dirty. Door jams were not on the cleaning schedule. Someone didn’t like the paneling and smashed it in. There were also exposed electrical breakers on the wall in our room! Not really safe. The person in the room next to us snored, how do we know? We listened all night. Exhausting.

The staff was amazing in that they stayed available an hour and a half beyond their office closing hour to check my sister and I in. We had been car camping for the last 4 days so we’re really looking g forward to a shower and warm, comfy bed. The shower looked as if it hadn’t been cleaned in ages. There was hair, a layer of dirt and a bug inside of it. Neither of us felt comfortable using it without shoes on. There was also hair scattered throughout the bathroom and the floors felt like they also hadn’t been cleaned in a while. It was nice to sleep inside and the location was convenient, although noisy, but it was definitely a “you get what you pay for” hotel.

The staff was very nice and had no issues. The only thing was the place needs some more help cleaning. The floors were very dirty to the point of my kids feet turning black everytime they walked on it. Everything was pretty dusty. Over all it was a very chill and quiet place and i didnt feel unsafe at all just needs some extra cleaning

Room smelled. The floor was dirty. Hairballs under the bed. Dust bunnies in every corner. The towels provided weren't the best. They were very thin and small some were stained. A floor towel wasnt provided. The shower door didnt close properly so water was going out onto the floor. We had to use 2 of the towels to put on the bathroom floor. There was hair in the shower so the bathroom definitely wasnt cleaned. Some stains on the bedroom sheets. The trash can in the room wasnt thrown away. It was filled with the previous people's trash still. Its an older Inn but some updates and renovations would make it more comfortable. The housekeeping needs a big improvement. How do you expect your guests to stay comfortably if you cant clean and sanitize the room properly? The only thing we did like about the room we had was the full size fridge.

We couldn't even get into our room until 10 minutes to 6:00 at night we were there at 3:15 and it wasn't ready they said it would be ready soon and we didn't get to get in there, the room wasn't even cleaned right the coffee pot was filthy there was stuck on food in the microwave there was hair and dirtiness in the refrigerator the freezer was dirty under the bed was just horrible there was red stains on the bedspread there was a cap from like a bottle or something next to the nightstand between the bed and the nightstand the floor made your feet black wasn't even mopped I took pictures of everything and showed it to the front desk and nothing was done about it I've always stayed there every time I get there and I will never stay there again I paid over $200 for two nights and never again I tried to get a night for tonight at least half price or something and they wouldn't do anything they said no

It is a reasonably priced no frills motel. They appear to be doing updates. We found our room clean, comfortable, adequate. It's right on 101, but not too much traffic noise and no people hanging around in the parking lot. The ocean view is over roof tops from across 101.

I had to fix toilet. King bed was like sleeping on concrete. No A/C had to sleep with windows open. Traffic was loud on 101. It ranked at seven was more like a 1. Was very unhappy with stay. I would have taken pics if I knew I could post.

The ocean views were good and the staff super helpful, but the beds were hard, there wasnt and air conditioning, and the pillows were incredibly small and had almost nothing to them. The staff did provide a box fan and the room was clean.

This place looked like a good value online. It turned out to be old and uncomfortable. Shower was tiny and the room was hot with no AC available. Had to leave windows open to try and cool the room which led to smoke and noise drifting in from guests on either side smoking in front of their hot rooms. Tough place to sleep between the heat, noise and cigarette smokers late night outside. Front desk was nice and friendly but they really need to spend some money on upgrading the rooms.

I could hear the man in room 24 snoring all night. The walls were VERY thin. We were Also next to the highway. The room was clean. The check in staff was very personable. The bed needs to be replaced.

Room was fairly clean, however it was on the road side sonalls u hear is the cars, theres no ac unit i knownit can be cooler at the coast but some peoplenare hot blooded and opening a window isnt ideal when alls u hear are cars all day n night, the bathroom door wouldnt shut n if u got it shut u were pretty much locked in there, the floor stripping between the bathroom n room wasnt glued down, stayed 2 nights got no room service had to go get more towles myself. Absolutely can not check in til 3. The guy was nice over all.

Room was very small and outdated. Door had a large gap. Could not access internet in room and when checking with office they just said, Give it a little time! It never did work! Went to office to see where to get Ice. Sorry ice machine broke! Shower leaked out onto the floor and the toilet must have been a child size. (Bed was comfortable:). Front sidewalk dirty. Needed to be swept. No chair or table. Had to set on bed. Would not recommend as a good place to stay.

I liked being able to park right in front of my room. The whole place seems to be set up that way, as it is single story. I didn't like the fact that the front desk is not staffed overnight. I didn't realize this until they called me on the road to give me directions on how to check myself in. However, I very much appreciate the fact that staff called me several times to make sure I could get into my room when arriving after staffed hours.

It is a reasonably priced no frills motel. They appear to be doing updates. We found our room clean, comfortable, adequate. It's right on 101, but not too much traffic noise and no people hanging around in the parking lot. The ocean view is over roof tops from across 101.

A nice place for price, don’t expect the Ritz, it’s just a nice motel. You can park directly in front of your room, no carpet on the floor, and pet friendly for those who have one. Bed was relatively comfortable, sheets were clean, and usb outlets on the lamps if needed. The rooms are all on one level. We stayed close to the road, which you can hear, but didn’t bother us. Ask for one of the rooms further away if that is a concern.

The hotel was in a nice location, and the staff were friendly. The parking spots were super wide for larger vehicles, which is a bonus for a lot of people! Allowing pets was also a bonus for us. There's plenty of food within walking distance, but most places close pretty early in Brookings. Overall, I'd stay again if we plan to stay in Brookings again.

Price was right,staff was nice good for a night stop over. It is right on the main road and if you’re in the front rooms it can be quite noisy. Thin walls so you hear people talking in the room next to you. We used white noise on our cell phones to block out most of it but I would bring ear plugs in the future.

It was a quiet and pleasant place to stay, probably helped by the fact that I was in the building furthest from the road. Decent view of the Pacific.

The room had a wierd smell the shower was very small and the floor was wet. There is some type of leak and we could feel water under the floorboards. It was not at all what it looked like in the pictures. I will not book the place again!

It’s an inexpensive hotel. Staff was nice. No air circulation in the hotel rooms. And the coffee machine didn’t work. But it was an inexpensive hotel so it was fine.
