What we didn’t like: Hot shower only ran for 3 minutes, then it stopped. Shower head was broken. The coach and the flooring were a bit dirty. But it was ok coz we only stayed for a night. What we love about it: It was easy to check in and check out via text. The place is very convenient and easy access to Alpine mountain park. We also love that I was across sister and sister bakery- they have the best cinnamon roll. Lots of parking. The village is walkable. Kids had so much fun!

Me and my boyfriend loved this spot! we felt really safe and loved the location. Room and bathroom was clean and so was the outside property only thing i would complain about is the fact there's a empty pool just teasing you but other than that it was great.

There was a pho restaurant on site that we ordered take out from. It was convenient and very much needed on that first night we were there. The parking was easy, the check-in/out process was super easy.

We have stayed at many places in big bear. The particular cabin we stayed at was very nice. It would be awesome if the pool was usable but we will be back for sure.

All and all it was great. A little disappointing that when I hooked this location I booked it based upon the pictures that featured a pool and when we arrived the pool wasn’t available. And I thought I upgraded my cabin to a larger cabin with a king size bed and a full kitchen, I did not get either. The living room light and bedroom light did not work, but the gentleman was extremely on top of that and provided us with lamps so that was great. The cleanliness was upsetting, the pillow cases were very dirty, someone’s trash from there coffee was left in the bedroom, didn’t look like anyone moved the couch for a long time because I found a bunch of dead bugs and ants under the couch surrounding old food and crumbs. Overall it wasn’t the best but not the worst either. I am however upset i paid for the family cabin and I still got the smallest cabin and nothing worked properly and the pool was a major disappointment

The grounds its self needs to be maintained, can barley see past bushes to exit grounds. the rm we got wasnt quite what we picked but was a suitable cute cabin. However, cleaning needs to be done better maybe clear cobwebs n dust, wifi was no gd, cable was non existent, couches were broken n missing a leg n dishes were dirty. Pool n spa were empty so no using those... The restaurant was gd thou n store or bars were close for walking. Rm upstairs could use a TV n beds were pretty comfy.

Overall, we had a pleasant stay. The room was a bit outdated and needed some maintenance. The bed wasn't too comfortable, and I found ants crawling on me while I was lying in bed. But overall, the stay was fine.

Really enjoyed the accommodations, we didn't utilize the fireplace, however we probably should have but the two heaters didn't seem to be sufficient for the cold evenings. Overall it was really spacious and exceptionally clean. Definitely would go back to visit again.

Decent room, but extremely expensive. $300 for one night in the cabin, but overall, it felt dirty. There was writing, dirt spots, and scuffs on the wall beside the bed, and the cabin had a weird smell upon first walking in. We had told the manager about the writing and he told us it's been there before. The stained couch looks like it's been taken for free at a garage sale, covered up with a cheap cloth. I did not sit there. There were also broken blinds behind the bed. During our stay, we have tried to communicate our concerns about the room to the lobb Like I said before, it is a decent room, but not for the price. Before looking at the Bear Creek Resort, I'd recommend searching elsewhere.

Cost per night $387 Bedrooms at Cabin #30 were located right by the main street and were very noisy. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. A couple of mattresses had springs popping out. Sleeping on the floor would have been better. Sheets had stains. The mattress for the queen size bed was made of two small mattresses zip tied together. Carpets and sofa were extremely filthy. Bathrooms were gross. White shower curtains were stained brown. Individual shampoo bottles had already been used. Main entrance door had no safety lock from the inside like you would expect at any hotel

Worst experience ever!!! This place was the most disgusting place we have ever been too. We checked in and went to the cabin and immediately went straight to the office and did not stay or even sit down there as it was that bad. Also had exposed wiring and all the smoke detectors didn’t even work. Was the worse experience ever. As we also had to get a new room at a different place. We would tell everyone DO NOT STAY HERE BEWARE!!!! Horrible and DISGUSTING

The property appears decent from outside. however, we did last min. check in and the room was beyond dirty! the beds are old as can be falling apart with an old sheet sustaining the bed frame. the bed frame was coming apart! the floor was dirty dirty dirty!!! Heater wasn’t working and wall heater had a burnt remote with tape to hold it together. We contact the guy and he said he’ll get housekeeper to come clear, of course that didn’t happen. I should have read previous reviews!! PLEASE DO NOT GO THERE! it’s sooooo dirty till its scary! Why kids and I could not sleep due to the bed feeling and smelling dirty. The sheets were clean but extremely wrinkled!!! I DO NOT RECOMMEND and please share this with others

Good location, across from market, restaurant and short walk to brewery with live entertainment, but the room was just ok. Cups were not provided and the TV had very limited channels when it was actually working. Would have been nice to have a Roku or something to log into our own account tlog into

Rented a nice size room last minute so my son and I could have a quick ski trip. We arrived late around 10pm but we had access codes texted earlier so we let ourselves into the lobby and into our room. Room was warm and comfortable. It had a refer and micro and coffee maker (that gave me problems but I tried using my own beans not supplied puck) while there are end tables and coffee tables there was no dresser or table high enough to use as a counter. So I had to make our sandwiches for our ski day on a night stand. But price was great and it was clean and comfy for a night. I would stay again especially in the bigger cabins.

Place is ok, easy acces. The place is literally falling apart. The beds are the most uncomfortable ones i have slept in. No exaggeration.
Place is ok, easy acces. The place is literally falling apart. The beds are the most uncomfortable ones i have slept in. No exaggeration.

Heavy snow fall and no one to clear the entrance. That’s the only disadvantage about not having staff there. Small car almost got stuck in the snow. Staff was very responsive over text though.

What we didn’t like: Hot shower only ran for 3 minutes, then it stopped. Shower head was broken. The coach and the flooring were a bit dirty. But it was ok coz we only stayed for a night. What we love about it: It was easy to check in and check out via text. The place is very convenient and easy access to Alpine mountain park. We also love that I was across sister and sister bakery- they have the best cinnamon roll. Lots of parking. The village is walkable. Kids had so much fun!

Me and my boyfriend loved this spot! we felt really safe and loved the location. Room and bathroom was clean and so was the outside property only thing i would complain about is the fact there's a empty pool just teasing you but other than that it was great.

Cost per night $387 Bedrooms at Cabin #30 were located right by the main street and were very noisy. Beds were extremely uncomfortable. A couple of mattresses had springs popping out. Sleeping on the floor would have been better. Sheets had stains. The mattress for the queen size bed was made of two small mattresses zip tied together. Carpets and sofa were extremely filthy. Bathrooms were gross. White shower curtains were stained brown. Individual shampoo bottles had already been used. Main entrance door had no safety lock from the inside like you would expect at any hotel

Very good hotel close to Big Bear slake Village. Clean, in good condition, easy check in and check out, Hotel room has everything you need for a short and long stay. AC is a plus in hot summer days an nights. Will definitely stay again.

Laid back easy place to stay, location is great, short distance to everything Big Bear has to offer. Never even saw an employee, they text me the door codes and we were good to go. My favorite part was the single "What's going on in Big Bear this week" type of magazine was from 2023. My kinda place.

The grounds its self needs to be maintained, can barley see past bushes to exit grounds. the rm we got wasnt quite what we picked but was a suitable cute cabin. However, cleaning needs to be done better maybe clear cobwebs n dust, wifi was no gd, cable was non existent, couches were broken n missing a leg n dishes were dirty. Pool n spa were empty so no using those... The restaurant was gd thou n store or bars were close for walking. Rm upstairs could use a TV n beds were pretty comfy.

WE arrived at 2:45 PM. I was contacted by phone, by an office employee, who said the room was ready at 12 for check in, no one was at the office, I called the number on the door and someone arrived about 15 minutes later to check us in. Why is this a problem? Well after driving for 2 hours some people plan on using the bathroom, instead had to go across the street and buy a beer to use their bathroom. The cabin was not the one in the photo, ours was old and tired. Broken tiles, old furnishings, pillow covers needed cleaned, the inside looked and felt tired... shower didn't drain, and the towels gave you a rash. However. the TV and internet worked. I have traveled through out the world, stayed in some interesting places and rooms, but I would not share this experience with my family ever again.

The room was great! The place was very homey and clean. Angela was also amazing, however the tv wasn’t working, We were not told we needed to ask for hot water so we endured a cold shower at night but then asked Angela the next day and it was heated but only slightly warm. The highlight was the private jacuzzi! In spite of the two not so great things this was a very memorable stay and kind of perfect.

We had a good time on our stay, I would have liked to of had at least a chair or two to sit at the table when eating. As for the mini refrigerator perhaps sitting in on a raised platform instead of the floor (very difficult to use). We absolutely loved the interior of the cabin, the walls are painted with great detail woodsy feel. We would definitely stay here again.
