Good well priced accommodation with everything you need in the apartments. Pay extra for the flats on higher floors or you will be looking out on cars, pay for a sea view. Didn't like that the parking is inadequate and having to park a long distance away.

Staff was friendly and make us feel welcome. The room was big with two rooms, two baths, kitchen, living space and terrace. The space was well equipped however the furniture it is old the room had view to the golf course and a little of the sea. The property itself it is big with a lot buildings and spaces but the whole property looks outdated some of the amenities are closed or it's been a couple of years that they are not in use. Most of the elevators do not work. We were told that the laundry was included but at the time of our stay we did not get a cleaning kit for the room that was included in our reservation. The property has a lot potential needs some upgrades. Also will be good to have a shuttle between the hotel and Steppona to mkae it easier to communte.

Generally this hotel was good value. We stayed in a penthouse which was spacious, clean and had everything you may need. Restaurants and bars were decent but pools need extra loungers, chairs and to be open at 10 rather than 1130.

Puntos negativos: - Estuvimos mucho tiempo para poder hacer el check-in, a pesar de haberlo hecho previamente por el móvil. - El buffet libre bien, faltaría el café con un mínimo de calidad; por otra parte mucho ruido con el mobiliario. - El ascensor que conectaba la entrada con la habitación no funcionaba, de modo que tuvimos que subir las maletas por las escaleras. - El kit de limpieza tuvimos que ir a recogerlo al supermercado del complejo, cuando debería haber estado en el apartamento. Puntos positivos: - Las habitaciones son amplias y están limpias. - La terraza es muy espaciosa. - El apartamento está bien equipado

My stay was not at all good. There was no parking in my building so I had to carry my luggage 15 minute walk. The complex feels very worn down and not friendly. I went to the gym and it was humid, hot and there was water all over the floor. Not to mention the weights were broken and very few machines. To call it a gym is an over statement. I would give this "hotel" 1 star at the best. It is not really a hotel, rather a huge apartment complex. Not at all my taste. People be warned.

Apartamento amplio y bastante bien equipado con terraza grande(edificio color rojo). Buen descanso, sin ruidos. Desayuno bueno y abundante, personal comedor muy competente pese a alguna aglomeración. Algo de sombra que hiciera la espera para entrar al desayuno más llevadera sería muy de agradecer. Se encuentra en una zona nueva de urbanizaciones a cierta distancia de Estepona centro(5km aprox). En nuestras fechas, finales de julio, imposible estacionar el vehículo afuera por lo que tuvimos que pagar parking(8€ día); ojo a la entrada los coches grandes: es estrecha con murete a los dos lados y en curva, no sé por qué no tiran, al menos, uno de los dos lados de ese tabique en curva. Las plazas del parking bastante estrechas también.

I would like to share my experience regarding my recent stay at your location. This was my fourth visit, so I am quite familiar with the premises. Unfortunately, I must note that the quality of the facilities has noticeably declined over the years, which I find very disappointing. What stood out to me in particular: Mold in the bathrooms, which is not only unhygienic but also leaves a poor impression. Check-in is only possible from 5:00 PM, while check-out is required by 11:00 AM. This wide gap feels unfriendly to guests and comes across as exploitative. Additionally, there are other issues that negatively affect the overall experience. I hope you take this feedback seriously and that steps will be taken to restore the quality and service to the expected level.

Very bad experience at this hotel ❌ My family and I had one of the worst stays of our lives at this hotel. Honestly, even half a star would be too much. 1. Hygiene is terrible: The rooms were dirty and smelled awful. The bathroom and toilet were full of mold and felt like a public restroom. 2. Beds are unacceptable: Infested with bedbugs and insects, with springs sticking out, making it impossible to sleep. 3. Staff behavior: The reception staff were extremely rude, unprofessional, and impolite. When we reported the issues, they arrogantly said: “That’s how it is.” 4. Surroundings: Sewage water was coming out in front of the hotel, spreading a terrible stench everywhere. 5. Facilities: The pools were dirty and overcrowded, with no cleanliness standards at all. 🔴 I strongly do not recommend this hotel. Please don’t waste your time and money here.

Första rummet vi fick var ytterst kallt och väldigt ostädat samt ofräscht. Fasaden och lägenheterna underhålls ej. I bestick lådan fanns det silverfiskar och det fanns massa döda kryp överallt samt spindelnät. Lägenheten luktade avlopp.

Views (I was on the 3rd floor looking to the golf course? Were AMAZING, property looked like it could have been better maintained, rooms were a bit dusty when checked in, would have loved room cleaning services without asking. But I noticed that it is part of the Spanish culture to not care too much and customer service is not a strong point in that culture, other than that breakfast was worth every penny. 4 out of 5 for me.

Spacious appartment, the beds are quite hard. A big swimming pool - although the water temperature was pretty cold. Not far from Estepona, which is a great little town wigh a nice historic centre. One needs a car to go there. In the evenings it was hard to find a parking lot close by.

We enjoyed our stay at Ona Valle Romano. There are a number of self catering apartments with reception and 2 restaurants. We were very happy with our apartment which had a good balcony overlooking the golf course. We did not have any meals but breakfast and evening meals are provided. The WiFi worked well, although there was only one channel on the TV in English. Good hot water. There is free parking outside the accommodation, only problem is later in the evening it is difficult to find a spot.

Mooi uitzicht. Accomodatie wat verouderd. Ligzetels versleten. Een ervan volledig kapot zelfs. Bij melding hiervan zeiden ze dat ze de zetels wel wilden weghalen maar er geen andere in de plaats konden geven... wel vriendelijk personeel en behulpzaam. Ontbijt zeer uitgebreid maar niet echt kwaliteitsvol vlees of kaas : Grootkeuken-gevoel. Goede bedden wel.

The actual accomodation is generous but it really disappoints in the kitchen which is fully equipped with hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and large fridge freezer, toaster. BUT no plug for the sink, no kettle, no washing up brush, no washing up liquid, no dishwasher tablets. The dishwasher has no salt or water softener. With very little spend Ona would really improve the facility.

First off they were very disorganized at check in, some people even got into an argument about who was next. There was also a problem with alarms in the lobby and the fire alarm as well went off one day, the noise was very annoying. It very far from everything. Overall was ok but we will not choose this place again.

Great apartment for size but if self-catering it's lacking in equipment, eg teatowel, baking tin, whisk, casserole dish other than a small one. We should have had a towel and linen change on day 5 of 7 but none were forthcoming. Some instructions as to use of cooker and dishwasher would be handy.

Booked for family of 5. Upon arrival looked like it was prison blocks. Huge queues for check in more staff needed to handle the volumes of customers. Resort would really benefit for a good clean and a lick of paint to freshen it up. Sofa bed was possible to use due to it being like lying of a bed of exposed springs. After raising the issue hotel management did little to address the issue. was told the room was quiet had all the staff cleaners and restaurant staff constantly wheel stuff out outside the room even at 11:30 at night. Bins being emptied waking you up every morning. Really disappointed and would highly recommend to avoid this hotel/apartment

Das Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist top. Wir waren 10 Tage im Mai da und hatten ein sehr schönes Appartement mit grossem Balkon und Blick auf das Meer. Beim Check-In gab es einen Gutschein, mit welchem es im Laden der Anlage ein "Paket" gab mit Putzschwamm, mehreren Tüchlein, Tabs für den Geschirrspüler etc. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig und gut. Die Anlage ist riesig und man kann sich leicht verlaufen. Ein Parkplatz für das Auto lässt sich selbst in der Vorsaison nicht immer vor "seinem" Block finden. Das Nachtessen im Restaurant der Anlage war gut, das Interieur aber doch sehr nüchtern gehalten. Insgesamt empfanden wir das Personal nicht als sehr freundlich.

Comparing with other offers at the time of booking our apartment it was very good price to value ratio. Our apartment was clean, quiet and spacious with nice terrace. There was a lot to choose from at breakfast, it was definitely to loud in the breakfast room for our liking though. And, if you want to see more than the resort, you rather need a car. Overall a nice place although it felt a little bit crowded from time to time.

La estancia fue bien, todo correcto. El apartamento muy bien con amplia terraza y mucha comodidad. La única pega a poner es que el complejo es muy grande y casi no encontramos la recepción, no está muy indicada. Vale la pena para ir varios días, aunque al estar situado en un sitio alto, a veces el viento es muy fuerte.

Appartamento ampio e confortevole. Buona pulizia. Colazione a buffet con ampia scelta sia dolce che salato. Struttura molto grande con difficoltà di parcheggio soprattutto alla sera. Isolata e quindi è assolutamente necessario avere la macchina. Wifi free ma con pochissima copertura.

Lägenhetshotell med bra läge intill golfbanan men inget annat i närheten. Ca 7-8 min med bil till Estepona. Trevlig personal och helt ok frukost. Lägenheten sliten men men helt ok. Finns det mest nödvändiga i köket och bra med disk/tvätt- maskin. Stor altan. Är stor anläggning och upplevs svårt att orientera sig på området. Parkerade på gatan och det fanns alltid plats (januari). Bra boende om man är många och har rimliga förväntningar på standarden.

Das Hotel Ona Valle Romano ist von außen in keinem guten Zustand, ein neuer Anstrich würde gut tun. Wir hatten für drei Nächte eine Ferienwohnung mit 2 SZ mit 73 qm. Die Ferienwohnung war hervorragend mit einer großen Küche und allem Zubehör ausgestattet. Ein großer Balkon mit Tisch, Stühlen und zwei Liegestühlen war ebenso dabei. Die Wohnung war ziemlich neu eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Jederzeit gerne wieder. Wir hatten Halbpension gebucht. Leider lässt das Buffettrestaurant sehr zu wünschen übrig. Der Raum ist sehr kahl, die Stühle haben Holzfüße ohne Filzgleiter, so dass ständig ein sehr lautes Kratzen der Stühle war. Das Frühstücksbüffet war gut. Alles vorhanden! Leider war das Abendessen eine Katastrophe. Am ersten Tag bekam man das Essen serviert. Ich bekam innen schwarze Kartoffeln, der Brokkoli und der Blumenkohl warn bräunlich und der Fisch zäh wie Gummi. Die Nachspeise war am Buffet. Dort waren u.a. Ananas, die braun angerändert waren. Die anderen Tage war Buffet. Dieses war besser. Man fand sich etwas, aber ich konnte nicht mehr mit Appetit dort essen. Also bei Buchung überlegen, ob man entweder nur das Apartment oder nur das Frühstück dazu bucht.

A very nice Appartment in an area close to Estepona centre. Good size room, well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Sofa and bed beds not very comfortable, but overall the room was good. Half board food started well in the restaurant, but mid way through evening meal changed to the buffet room, which was like a large noisy workman cafe. Overall the food was only OK

The hotel is advertised in a manner which suggests it is on a golf resort which generally then means a quality standard of accommodation. Sadly this is not actually on a golf resort and is more like student accommodation than a Resort. The staff were trying their absolute best but the entire place needs maintenance everywhere, chairs on the terraces were broken, our Apt had 2 sunloungers (for 4 people) but one of those was completely broken, lifts do not work, tiles are off walls, cleaning appeared minimal surface cleaning. The pool area was a good size, but only had about 10 non broken sunloungers for everyone which was absurd. The bar area was nice for an evening drink but the restaurant was .like a canteen with brightlighting and so noisy. The other guests (hundreds) were pretty much under 25yr olds who used the apts to hold parties. Oh and zn Uber to Estepona after 5pm was over 40 euro one way...about 8 euro in the day so clearly exploiting the youngsters they know go to party in Estepona in the evening. All in all a very odd hotel which I would say would be my last resort, not golf resort at all. Felt sorry for the staff who tried hard to make it work better, but it needs closing and money spent on maintenance.
