Our place was way larger than expected! Very clean and fully stocked. Excellent prices. Their pool is amazing. Heated, salt water with the hot tub right next to it which made it easy to watch the kids swim. All staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My only complaint is that the pool and activities close very early. Both nights it closed at 5. I would definitely stay here again. Luray caverns was a hit.

First I will say we did not get was pictured which is a pedestal unit but beyond that it was very nice. The place could use a touch of paint but everything worked and worked well. The hot tub was nice and the sauna could’ve been but we were unsure if and how much water we could/should use. So we tried a dry heat one and it was ok. The place was big enough to sleep 8 but I think 4 adults and a couple of kids might feel cramped. Then again we slept and ate there and spent the rest of the time hiking or site seeing. A nice looking golf course right off the balcony and ski resort down the road. I would definitely book again but maybe when it’s warmer. Or at least when the slopes are open. Overall a great place to drop and go or stay and find things to do close by.

This is my go to place when biking in Bryce. The townhouses are kept immaculate and the kitchens are great. It’s an easy bike ride or walk to Bryce and a short drive to Pale Fire brewing or the Burn Barrel. The pool is nice as well. Super great value if you got Basye often for biking.

Very spacious, clean, very friendly and helpful staff, great pool, hot tub and sauna. Lots of parking, quiet couldn’t hear the neighbors, but the down fall was furniture was out dated and uncomfortable to sit and sleep in, kitchen is sparkly furnished, stove took along time to heat up, mattress’s were very uncomfortable to sleep in.

Good location for skiing as it takes 3 minutes by car. Easy check in/out What I did not like: - back door lock did not work - found dirty underwear inside bedroom drawer and something that looked like pet food on the carpet - heater works but gets too hot upstairs and too cold downstairs

Staff was friendly and helpful. The activity center pool area was very nice and clean. The unit we stayed in was clean, spacious, had everything we needed for meals. It was dated, could use some updates, but it was clean, comfortable and the area was beautiful. The other guests were friendly and it was quiet and peaceful. There was an issue with the dishwasher and the staff and maintenance had it taken care of immediately! Would definitely stay again.

The hosts in the office were exceptional and very helpful. It was lovely to chat to them. Instructions were clear, if you arrive after hours you are sent details of how to pick up your keys. The chalet overlooked the golf course, very quiet. Recommend stocking up as you have a full kitchen, laundry. I am a clean freak and the cleanliness of the property was exceptional. No faults at all, full kitchen with dishwasher, full sized fridge freezer and oven and extensive cookware. Bed was really comfy and we slept well. Two bedrooms with two bathrooms. Very rested and would highly recommend. Great value if staying several nights.

On the 1st night of our stay the bed was broken for the upper floor. We complained on the 2nd day and we were given a 3 BHK house but in that as well the bed was broken! We had a stiff back for the whole day and that resulted into no plans for the next day as everybody had a stiff back Plus there was a whole spider web at the entrance of the 2nd Apartment we moved in

Location was great for our short stay. We really enjoyed the mountain and didn't spend much time in the condo. Which was good. Furniture and decor not of this century. Sinks and showers leaked. Bathroom locks didnt work. Wallpaper pealing. Couch had a delayed sinking feeling that expelled air. Green carpet, pretty gross.

Love these units, however it is almost impossible to find the unit numbers on the doors once it is dark out. The doors are dark green with black numbers- it is really odd that they wouldn't change the color since there are so many complaints and in order to see the numbers you have to pull into each section and shine ur headlights at each door since there aren't street lights. Also it was so freezing downstairs in the master bedroom but scorching hot in the upstairs bedroom. I guess it needs some updates but either way it is a nice vacation and very resourceful unit with everything you need for cooking, cleaning, etc.

*Bring your own groceries. The kitchen was fully stocked and it was easy for us to make all of our meals. Also, you may want to bring plenty of bottle water for drinking and cooking. The hot water heater hadn't been flushed in a long time (maybe never). The hot water had some sediment and smelled of Sulphur. *There are only a few restaurants within 5 miles (15-20 minutes) and none of them are much of anything. *The 3 floor unit only has one hvac unit. The ground floor and the upper floor were nice and warm. Downstairs was notably cooler. The email we received from the property prior to arrival suggested that they only supply a limited amount of blankets. We found that what they had available was plenty sufficient for January. *Lighting in the rental unit could be improved. *They have an electric heater fireplace in the living on the ground floor but it is enclosed and therefore provides no heat.

We had a comfortable, relaxing stay at Chalet High. Our townhouse unit was located on the golf course with a pleasant view. The unit decor is dated but the unit was clean. The full kitchen was well equipped for a short stay. The queen bed was comfortable. The twins in the second bedroom were just ok. The master bath has a shower and a hot tub. We did not use the community ammenties ie pool. This unit is about 1 mile from the ski slopes and the restaurant.

We loved this place! Our son wanted to go to the Shannondoah Caverns for his birthday so we chose to make a mini vacation out of it. What a perfect place to stay. The staff was awesome. Tammy was very nice and hospitable. The condo was nice and in a very quiet peaceful spot. Definitely will stay again!

Local staff were very helpful, friendly and attentive. Only minor issue - we checked in after dark. Unit numbers were hard to see from the road. Maybe some reflective paint? Not a real ding and certainly not a problem during daylight hours. We'll be back!

We loved our stay, we had a great time. Everything was very clean and the sheets and towels were sparkling clean. People at the office were very friendly.

Chalet High was an amazing find. My wife and I used it as a central location to visit vineyards throughout the Shenandoah region. There are many wonderful vineyards in the area. It was nice to come back to a comfortable place rather than a hotel room. It was clean and well kept. Check in and out was extremely easy.

Living room furniture is not comfortable. Bed was good. Loved the jet tub! Loved being right on the golf course. Enjoyed the indoor pool!

The family was gathering for time at Lake Laura and some family members have stayed there before. Dish washer and coffee makers didn’t work great but the rest of the kitchen was fine. We have 3 cabins for 11 and it worked out nicely. There were cats and deer we saw on property. We hung out towels to dry and enjoyed the deck on the mid level.

First I will say we did not get was pictured which is a pedestal unit but beyond that it was very nice. The place could use a touch of paint but everything worked and worked well. The hot tub was nice and the sauna could’ve been but we were unsure if and how much water we could/should use. So we tried a dry heat one and it was ok. The place was big enough to sleep 8 but I think 4 adults and a couple of kids might feel cramped. Then again we slept and ate there and spent the rest of the time hiking or site seeing. A nice looking golf course right off the balcony and ski resort down the road. I would definitely book again but maybe when it’s warmer. Or at least when the slopes are open. Overall a great place to drop and go or stay and find things to do close by.

This is my go to place when biking in Bryce. The townhouses are kept immaculate and the kitchens are great. It’s an easy bike ride or walk to Bryce and a short drive to Pale Fire brewing or the Burn Barrel. The pool is nice as well. Super great value if you got Basye often for biking.

The interior space is definitely well dated but very clean and generally in good condition. Lots of space and a very quiet location. Beautiful scenic countryside all around. Can’t beat the price. Would stay again.

We had a comfortable, relaxing stay at Chalet High. Our townhouse unit was located on the golf course with a pleasant view. The unit decor is dated but the unit was clean. The full kitchen was well equipped for a short stay. The queen bed was comfortable. The twins in the second bedroom were just ok. The master bath has a shower and a hot tub. We did not use the community ammenties ie pool. This unit is about 1 mile from the ski slopes and the restaurant.

Lovely unique quiet peaceful and always clean, fully equipped property.We had 12 inches of snow, so beautiful. Enjoyed every moment. We shopped at the nearby Food Lion and cooked our meals seven out of ten days, our kitchen had everything we needed. Lots of great antique stores. We'll see you next year!

Staff was friendly and helpful. The activity center pool area was very nice and clean. The unit we stayed in was clean, spacious, had everything we needed for meals. It was dated, could use some updates, but it was clean, comfortable and the area was beautiful. The other guests were friendly and it was quiet and peaceful. There was an issue with the dishwasher and the staff and maintenance had it taken care of immediately! Would definitely stay again.

The hosts in the office were exceptional and very helpful. It was lovely to chat to them. Instructions were clear, if you arrive after hours you are sent details of how to pick up your keys. The chalet overlooked the golf course, very quiet. Recommend stocking up as you have a full kitchen, laundry. I am a clean freak and the cleanliness of the property was exceptional. No faults at all, full kitchen with dishwasher, full sized fridge freezer and oven and extensive cookware. Bed was really comfy and we slept well. Two bedrooms with two bathrooms. Very rested and would highly recommend. Great value if staying several nights.

*Bring your own groceries. The kitchen was fully stocked and it was easy for us to make all of our meals. Also, you may want to bring plenty of bottle water for drinking and cooking. The hot water heater hadn't been flushed in a long time (maybe never). The hot water had some sediment and smelled of Sulphur. *There are only a few restaurants within 5 miles (15-20 minutes) and none of them are much of anything. *The 3 floor unit only has one hvac unit. The ground floor and the upper floor were nice and warm. Downstairs was notably cooler. The email we received from the property prior to arrival suggested that they only supply a limited amount of blankets. We found that what they had available was plenty sufficient for January. *Lighting in the rental unit could be improved. *They have an electric heater fireplace in the living on the ground floor but it is enclosed and therefore provides no heat.

Very spacious, clean, very friendly and helpful staff, great pool, hot tub and sauna. Lots of parking, quiet couldn’t hear the neighbors, but the down fall was furniture was out dated and uncomfortable to sit and sleep in, kitchen is sparkly furnished, stove took along time to heat up, mattress’s were very uncomfortable to sleep in.

We've stayed at various rentals at Chalet High four times now. All the units are older. They're not fancy. But they've always been clean and everything's always worked fine. The kitchens are better stocked with cookware than many rentals as well, which we appreciate. I believe all, or at least most, of the rentals have dishwashers, wash machines, and driers in the units, which is a huge plus for us.

Always an easy and wonderful stay at Chalet High! Staff is friendly & helpful! We love the access to Lake Laura, as well as the indoor saltwater pool/hot tub & sauna. There are great hikes and other activities nearby! If you’re looking for a place to get away, give them a try!

Great staff! They were very friendly and helpful. The place was better than i had expected. Tons of space and very clean. My kid definitely enjoyed the warm saltwater pool :)
