Beautiful location and lovely yurt. Our dinner and drinks were delicious at the lodge. The greatroom was a pleasant place to hang out with new friends. Loved our short but sweet stay.

The facilities are great, but in need of maintenance. The setting is absolutely stunning, and the surroundings are breathtaking. The restaurant is world-class, the food was absolutely delicious and presentation was very elegant.

Great place and hidden gem. It is on a nice outdoor space with lovely walking trails and also great views. There are few dogs on the property like Pepe and Shadow. Such a lovely time

The Boulder Mountain. Lodge has so many options for guests. This is my third stay. I stayed first in a cozy yurt with a shared bathroom and shower facility, then in a comfortable lodge room and this time is a deluxe cabin with 2 bedrooms for my girlfriend and me. It was below freezing during our 2 night stay but the cabin had wonderful heaters and we were never cold!

The Boulder Mountain. Lodge has so many options for guests. This is my third stay. Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch is an absolutely beautiful getaway! Remote, quiet, a beautiful natural setting, and the lodge itself is stunning. The staff was friendly, helpful and welcoming. Our room was tiny but cozy and quiet. Our personal bathroom was roomy and clean. The lounge area was clean, quiet and cozy with self-serve coffee and tea available, as well as a beautiful fireplace and board games. We were given bagged continental breakfasts that consisted of apples, hard boiled eggs, muffins and granola bars. Since we had a long drive ahead of us, we appreciated the convenient travel food. We would definitely stay at this lodge again!

Water warning ecoli etc, so you are limited to water from dispenser, in lounge area. In the morning, that water was nearly empty. Apparently their water source has failed two inspections since September, so check before you go. Breakfast is a very unappetizing little grab and go back left for you in room mini frig. Coffee pot in lounge area is set up be whoever wakes up first, and disagreements over how to prepare occur. Apparently no management on site in the morning. There was an organized group of youth staying or camping there, and THEY got what smelled like a delicious buffet breakfast. That was pretty frustrating to us. Finally our room was tiny, and stuffy. Window could not be opened. Fan was super noisy. We did however enjoy dinner in restaurant that evening. Staff that we met in the evening was very pleasant , but no one around in the morning, at least not for regular guests.

The hotel is at very remote area and only hotel WIFI can be used to communicate. Not all area has good WIFI service. View was great and the food at hotel restaurant was super great - highly recommend. We took the room 5 . We stayed an a Yurt which was like glamping. It was clean and comfortable. We were provided with a nice breakfast bag for the morning. Unfortunately the shower in the shared bathroom close to our yurt wasn’t working so we had to drive to another bathroom which was inconvenient. Also the yurt we were in did not have curtains which meant people next door could see in at night and we were up early in the morning.

Location was scenic. Nice open area where you could sit and view the surrounding property. Room was clean and roomy enough. Bed was comfortable, water pressure and temp good. Continental breakfast and coffee area was solid. Only issue was the room was right next to the dining area and you could easily hear whoever was out there. There were no customers after about 9pm so not a big deal.

The bathroom seemed to be clean but what would really make it nice is if there were a few rugs in there. Like a bath mat to step on when you get out of the shower and a rug under the sink. The sink is really narrow and it's hard to even wash your face without getting water all over the floor. A rug to soak up the water would be extra nice. There is a broom in the room to sweep up dirt but while we were there it rained. It would be nice if there was a rug at the door to dry off wet feet. Also, it would be nicer if the curtains covered the whole window. Right now, there is a 6 inch gap on both sides of the windows by the front door that never cover up.

Great location, rustic and had charm . The 3 bedroom cabin only has 1 bathroom on the first floor and it was hard to get that info beforehand in detail. Not convenient for a group considering the 2 bedroom next door has 2 bathrooms. Rooms comfy enough but not fancy . The floors were awful , full of dog hair, clumps of human hair, gross. Secondly had to wash every dish we used. Not cleaned properly.

The restaurant was great as was our first night there. The second night people directly above us very loud. No sound insulation. Maybe a thick rug? Also, their shower leaked into our bathroom so badly we were unable to use our sink or toilet in the morning. Staff very helpful and nice so hopefully that gets fixed soon.

We liked a lot about the property and the room, but there were two concerns. First, the bed was cratered. You couldn’t help but roll into the middle. Made it very cramped and not a good night’s sleep. Second, the breakfast snack left for us in the fridge seemed very old. The hard boiled eggs smelled awful as soon as the fridge door was cracked.

Great location, nice log lodge atmosphere. Unfortunately, we were given a room wierdly sandwiched between the restaurant and the "great" room where the morning coffee bar and most socializing were located. No soundproofing, so very noisy. Food in restaurant was excellent, but we had to wait an hour and a half to get served. I do believe that was just bad timing, and that this is not the norm.

A very quaint experience. In the middle of nowhere a very rustic lodge. Staff were awesome, we got a bigger room after finding the first one a bit too small. The heating panel didn't work properly in our room but it was solved with a space heater that worked well. The onsite restaurant is excellent; too bad they don't serve breakfast, only dinner.

This place is amazing it’s our second year in a row staying here and the staff is as friendly and helpful as ever and since they were having some issues they gave us a free upgrade. The scenery, the remoteness, the beauty, the whole package is just so incredible and worth it. We will be back again! And we’re telling our friends about this place.

The staff member at check in was extremely kind and welcoming. When we asked about what to do for dinner (which is limited in the area) because the restaurant on site was closed, she graciously called and made a reservation 10 minutes down the road at Hell’s Backbone Grill. When we arrived there was no one in the office. We called out and rang the bell but no one came. I tried to call the hotel number but there was no service. Luckily a man stopped by who helped the owners out sometimes. He finally got in touch with someone who told him how for us to unlock our room. They told him that we should have received an email with instructions but we did not.

Absolutely Lovely! Everything about it from the building to the surroundings, to the staff to the bed and the bath and and the coffee🙌 Kara was most helpful, and I would like to go back for a week with friends to enjoy the hiking and more. Do not hesitate to go here.

The hotel is at very remote area and only hotel WIFI can be used to communicate. Not all area has good WIFI service. View was great and the food at hotel restaurant was super great - highly recommend. We took the room 5 . It was clean and good size but it can be a bit noisy if the upstairs guest is moving the luggarge

Great place and hidden gem. It is on a nice outdoor space with lovely walking trails and also great views. There are few dogs on the property like Pepe and Shadow. Such a lovely time

Location was scenic. Nice open area where you could sit and view the surrounding property. Room was clean and roomy enough. Bed was comfortable, water pressure and temp good. Continental breakfast and coffee area was solid. Only issue was the room was right next to the dining area and you could easily hear whoever was out there. There were no customers after about 9pm so not a big deal.

Peaceful and quiet location close to Grand Staircase Escalante. We loved the lodge and the tranquility. Sunrise and sunsets filled the sky with amazing colors. It is very remote.

The facilities are great, but in need of maintenance. The setting is absolutely stunning, and the surroundings are breathtaking. The restaurant is world-class, the food was absolutely delicious and presentation was very elegant.

What an amaxing place to stay. They give you many choices for breakfast it's an unattended breakfast but it's wonderful. I just couldn't get enough non decaf coffee pouches. There's cream there's yogurts there's cheese there's everything for you in the mornings. The staff is very happy to talk to you and tell you all about the area and help you with directions. Talk about a wonderful place to eat the restaurant is outstanding everything we ate there was delicious

Great location, nice log lodge atmosphere. Unfortunately, we were given a room wierdly sandwiched between the restaurant and the "great" room where the morning coffee bar and most socializing were located. No soundproofing, so very noisy. Food in restaurant was excellent, but we had to wait an hour and a half to get served. I do believe that was just bad timing, and that this is not the norm.

Water warning ecoli etc, so you are limited to water from dispenser, in lounge area. In the morning, that water was nearly empty. Apparently their water source has failed two inspections since September, so check before you go. Breakfast is a very unappetizing little grab and go back left for you in room mini frig. Coffee pot in lounge area is set up be whoever wakes up first, and disagreements over how to prepare occur. Apparently no management on site in the morning. There was an organized group of youth staying or camping there, and THEY got what smelled like a delicious buffet breakfast. That was pretty frustrating to us. Finally our room was tiny, and stuffy. Window could not be opened. Fan was super noisy. We did however enjoy dinner in restaurant that evening. Staff that we met in the evening was very pleasant , but no one around in the morning, at least not for regular guests.

The only thing we didn't realize ahead was that breakfast has to be ordered the evening before and we arrived much too late our first night there to order - (after office was closed).

A very quaint experience. In the middle of nowhere a very rustic lodge. Staff were awesome, we got a bigger room after finding the first one a bit too small. The heating panel didn't work properly in our room but it was solved with a space heater that worked well. The onsite restaurant is excellent; too bad they don't serve breakfast, only dinner.

Stayed here one night. Jared was very welcoming. The property is off the beaten path, which was just what we needed at this stage of our trip. It is rustic but modern. There’s a restaurant (Sweetwater Kitchen) serving dinner right on the property which gets great reviews, but we had already eaten when we got there so didn’t get a chance to try it. It smelled wonderful, though. The room was small but comfortable with good quality linens and towels. It did not have an en suite bathroom, though it was just outside our door. In fact, we stayed in a fairly private area of the lodge that has three rooms and two bathrooms which would be perfect for a family or three couples traveling together. Everything was clean and Jared provided coffee and breakfast snacks which we were able to grab on our way out in the morning. But be warned that the last 1/4 of a mile to the lodge is unpaved, so wouldn’t recommend showing up in a low slung sports car. All other cars should have no problem at all. Would definitely consider staying here again!

We enjoyed our stay! Our yurt was lovely, the bathroom was nice, the snacks provided in the Great Room were just right…the only improvement would be some property trail marker maintenance. We explored a little bit & many of the signs had fallen or were twisted.

We felt at home at Boulder Mountain Guest Ranch. The staff was super friendly. It was very nice visiting with the staff and guests. They have hiking trails that are well marked. The on-site restaurant is 5-star. We would highly recommend staying and dining at BMGR.
