Owners are very helpful, informative and friendly! Cozy tropical paradise with a lovely pool and tiki hut for breakfast with microwave. Rooms are comfortable with refrigerators, fans and AC. Walking distance to beach and shops and gas. Safe parking within gated property. Great location near waterfront restaurant.

Great and convenient property located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Tahiti. Vincent, the owner, is very friendly and welcoming, which made the stay even more enjoyable. The property is in a quiet area, yet close to shopping, including a 24-hour store, making it very convenient. There’s also a car park available on-site, which is a great bonus. The rooms are comfortable, equipped with air conditioning and a fridge, offering everything you need for a relaxing stay. Highly recommended!

A perfect spot for a night or a week in Tahiti. Tastefully furbished cottages with full kitchens. Free daily breakfast and salt water pool. This location is directly across the street from the beach and next door to a convenience mart / gas station. A very good spot for families on a budget .

Very helpful in allowing us early entry after an early morning arrival in Papeete. We were able to wait around the pool area, in the shade, until our room was ready, before the normal,11 am check in time. No problem either with a 5am check out.

What a beautiful small hotel. Gated in with an amazing pool. Beautiful plants everywhere designed eclectically but soothing. The room had everything we might need. The beds were comfortable and the staff went out of their way to make us feel comfortable (we did not speak French , but they spoke enough English to understand each other. Absolutely brilliant snorkeling just across the street, maybe couple hundred meters. Bring your trunks and some food to prepare and sit on the balcony and enjoy the biodiverse surroundings that have been arranged

The owners are excellent. Place very clean but dated. Hot water great pressure. Pretty gardens lots of plants and flowers. Pool was clean. Limited restaurants and they close in the afternoon so we ate from a gas station with limited food. Need a car. Beach across the street looked nice, but didn’t use we only stayed few hours waiting for late flight. For the money it was good.

It was just wonderful, walk across the street and you are on one of the nicest beach. Gated security for the cars too, lockbox for money and passports, nice garden and pool. The roosters come around 5.00 am. Good aircon, internet was ok most of the time, some shaky signals a few times.

Good area for snorkeling, shopping and transportation. Staffs are friendly. Bed is firm and comfortable. The kitchen wares are limited. No covers for the pot and pan. Dog poofs around the front door of the unit and has been there for a few days, no cleaning.

Calme, malgré la nationale qui passe devant le mur de clôture. Plage toute proche ( route à traverser). Supérette à côté, permettant de faire des courses sans prendre la voiture. La piscine, bien agréable en fin de journée. Chambre propre avec une terrasse privative et pour certaines un coin cuisine bien pratique. Un beau jardin très bien entretenu, dans le respect de la démarche écologique mise en place par les propriétaires de la pension. Possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner (en supplément) dans l'espace commun. La gentillesse du personnel.

Vincent, the host, was fantastic. He went above and beyond. He answered all of my emails promptly. He made sure a driver was waiting for me at the airport, even though my plane arrived close to midnight, and made sure I got into my room, even though the front desk was closed by the time I got there. Vincent even gave me the name of an AMAZING tour guide to show me around the island on New Years Day. The staff was friendly and lovely. Unfortunately, I didn't care for the accommodations. There were ants everywhere and the towels and the bed sheets were hard and scratchy. If plush is what you're looking for, this is not the place.

This property is a great stop over for a night or two in Tahiti. It is comfortable and clean. It is located on the main road so traffic is loud. The amenities in the rooms are very limited! The staff are very helpful and really tried their best to explain everything in English!

Absolutely perfect! This little oasis was the perfect place to stay on our stopover to Bora Bora. I only wish we had more time to enjoy this lovely place! Vincent, the owner, waited up for our late arrival and escorted us to our room, showed us a lovely video about the property, and arranged everything we needed. After a midnight dip in the garden pool, I slept like a baby. AC worked great and room was very comfortable! I only hope the rest of our trip is this lovely! My teenage daughter, who loves the high-end hotels, said that this was her favorite place because it is so charming and authenticly Tahiti and that everyone needs to stay here when in Tahiti.

Everyone was so friendly ! The room was spacious, clean, had a mini fridge and table outside ! The staff was so loving and helpful! We 24 hours convenience store next door that saved us on a late flight ! Conveniently located walkable to many places! The only down is the roosters are 4 am... but they were all over the island so I guess that's a Tahiti thing! Highly reccomend

Mysigt familjeägt pensionat med fantastisk service. Trädgården är som en dröm. Lugnt och fint trots att den ligger vid en vältrafikerad väg. Rummen är lite lyhörda. 5 min promenad till stranden.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à la pension de la plage ! Nous avons eu un très bel accueil et de bon moments de partage avec nos hôtes. L'emplacement était très bien, face la plage de toaroto, avec arrêt de bus à proximité immédiate et à 15 min d'un petit centre commercial et à 20 min du musée de Tahiti.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à la pension de la plage ! Nous avons eu un très bel accueil et de bon moments de partage avec nos hôtes. We arrived after dark, and Vincent was kind enough to stay up and open the gate for us. He then showed us a video of the rooms, near by shopping, and local attractions. The public beach is a short 5 minute walk away and was beautiful. I wish we had more time to snorkel and relax on the beach. We will be back in two weeks to spend a day here before catching our flight home to Arizona. A nice place to relax.

Very helpful in allowing us early entry after an early morning arrival in Papeete. We were able to wait around the pool area, in the shade, until our room was ready, before the normal,11 am check in time. No problem either with a 5am check out.

Vincent, the host, was fantastic. He went above and beyond. He answered all of my emails promptly. He made sure a driver was waiting for me at the airport, even though my plane arrived close to midnight, and made sure I got into my room, even though the front desk was closed by the time I got there. Vincent even gave me the name of an AMAZING tour guide to show me around the island on New Years Day. The staff was friendly and lovely. Unfortunately, I didn't care for the accommodations. There were ants everywhere and the towels and the bed sheets were hard and scratchy. If plush is what you're looking for, this is not the place.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à la pension de la plage ! Nous avons eu un très bel accueil et de bon moments de partage avec nos hôtes. L'emplacement était très bien, face la plage de toaroto, avec arrêt de bus à proximité immédiate et à 15 min d'un petit centre commercial et à 20 min du musée de Tahiti.

All the people were wonderful. Helpful, thoughtful and unpretentious. Location was right on the road and right next to a gas station. The location was the only drawback to a charming homey and relaxing place.

I had just finished a 2 week stay in the French Polynesian Islands and just wanted to spend 2 nights relaxing and enjoying the beach. I was a little anxious about being by myself after spending the past 2 weeks with 12 people. What a lovely surprise to be greeted by Vincent and shown to my room. He explained the area to me, how to get to restaurants and the beach and he even ordered my taxi for 530 on the morning of my departure. It is a gated facility, very secure with a lovely pool surrounded by beautiful large rooms with a kitchen area and nice size bath room and patio with a front and rear entrance. They did have breakfast available but I chose to buy some groceries and just had coffee in the outside covered eating area next to the pool. The beach, restaurants and shops were within close walking distance. I took a cab from and to the airport. And is was very reasonable. Highly recommended.

I stayed at Pension de la Plage for almost a week. The location is good, being on the west side of Tahiti, and is close enough to Papeete that the major dive organizations will pick you up here if diving is part of your trip. There is a small park across the street, a small combination grocery store and gas station next door, and a great snorkeling reef within walking distance. The rooms at Pension de la Plage are comfortable, and my room had a small kitchen with basic cook wear and utensils. For those who don't want to cook breakfast there is a breakfast available for purchase. I would consider staying here again if I ever travel back to Tahiti.

C’était pour nous un hôtel « de transit » pour une nuit entre notre arrivée de l’aéroport et notre vol interne du lendemain. Et bien nous aurions pu y rester plus longtemps tant le lieu est charmant, les chambres agréables et le personnel adorable. Et en plus le rapport qualité/prix est irréprochable. Des restaurants et divers commerces sont accessibles à 10 minutes de marche maximum. On recommande chaleureusement ☺️

Calme, malgré la nationale qui passe devant le mur de clôture. Plage toute proche ( route à traverser). Supérette à côté, permettant de faire des courses sans prendre la voiture. La piscine, bien agréable en fin de journée. Chambre propre avec une terrasse privative et pour certaines un coin cuisine bien pratique. Un beau jardin très bien entretenu, dans le respect de la démarche écologique mise en place par les propriétaires de la pension. Possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner (en supplément) dans l'espace commun. La gentillesse du personnel.

The owners are excellent. Place very clean but dated. Hot water great pressure. Pretty gardens lots of plants and flowers. Pool was clean. Limited restaurants and they close in the afternoon so we ate from a gas station with limited food. Need a car. Beach across the street looked nice, but didn’t use we only stayed few hours waiting for late flight. For the money it was good.

Photos of property were misleading while still technically accurate. Property is in need of TLC. Pool needs to be resurfaced. There were only 4 towels for a 4 person room. No wash cloths or hand towels. Towels provided were stiff and scratchy. The room only had soap. No conditioner or lotion. And the shower was moldy. It is right across the street from a beach.

The room was beautifully cool. We had to leave very early to catch a flight to Maupiti so we weren’t able to enjoy the breakfast. The owner was very kind and helpful.

All was good. Things were a little dated but everything was clean an working. Really liked the setting with the little porches around the pool and all the gardens. We arrived late, cooked dinner in the kitchenette and swam in the pool with the night lighting. Very nice atmosphere. Only thing we didn't like was the noise on the road from behind - was on the weekend and could here several loud motor bikes going by throughout the night.

The staff was so helpful and so patient with all of our questions. Room was available early (we got off a cruise ship). The room was very comfortable and very clean. We didn't stay overnight (our outgoing flight was at midnight) and the staff called a taxi for us to arrive at 9:00 p.m. (after they left for the day). Taxi was there promptly. Hotel was within walking distance to various restaurants and the beach. Pool was very clean and inviting. We would definitely recommend this place!
