We stayed here because it was a great location so that worked out great. Things I wish I paid better attention to is that you have to check in somewhere else and it’s on the 3rd floor without elevator.

We had a great stay at Rey Apartments in Reyjavik. Our room was fantastic and we loved having a kitchenette and lounge to use in the mornings and evening. The location was fantastic and easily walkable to the main areas of town. The apartment was clean and check in was super easy. We'd definitely stay with you again!

Great, clean, and tidy stay. But the balcony of another apartment is extended all the way to outside of our bathroom. We have to tape maps on the window to ensure privacy. Another concern is limited parking. Only 2 free parking spots are available. Otherwise, residents have to pay for on-street parking unless parking between 21:00 and 09:00 overnight.

The appartment was perfect for the 7 of us. We had the appartement on the top floor unfortunatelly with narrow staircases without a lift. That was the only negative aspect as we had to carry our bags all the way up.

This apartment worked out great for our 3 days in Reykjavik. It had everything we needed and was walking distance to all the shops and restaurants downtown. It is the perfect location. The laundromat was just across the street. The only downside was the 2 spots only parking but it would not deter us from making another reservation in the future.

A great location. Paid parking on the street. The apartments have 2 free parking spots first come first serve, so not always available. Loved having a kitchen and separate spaces for us and our teenager.

There was free parking but we it is only 2 spots so we had to wait to get one of the spots. The shower door was broken but we were still able to take a shower. It should have said that there are no elevators since we were on the 4th floor. It was a workout to get our bags up to the 4th floor.

GREAT LOCATION! Affordable! This is my 4th visit to Iceland and out of all my stays in Reykjavik, I liked this location the best. Staff friendly and sociable. Can’t wait to come back! The only negative was the shower curtain was gross at the bottom of it.

Great location! Staff was very responsive and helpful. Room was very clean. My only complaints were 1) shower curtain did not contain the water spraying from our showers. Water dripped out to the bathroom floors and around the toilet. There were no extra towels for the floor to absorb the water. 2) Very noisy as the apartment was on the first floor. There was music blasting from parties outside on the weekend.

Das Apartment war sehr sauber und ist gut in Schuss gehalten. Zimmerservice war jeden zweiten Tag verfügbar. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet u.a. mit Wasserkocher, Toaster, Kochplatten, Küchentüchern, etc. Die Matratze und Kopfkissen waren ausgesprochen bequem und gut. Leider gab es keinen Kleiderschrank oder Regale bzw. Aufhängemöglichkeiten für Kleidung. Das Badezimmer verfügt über einen leistungsstarken Föhn und scheint neu gefliest zu sein, ist aber im Übrigen leider nur "ungenügend" in der Bewertung. Die Duschkabine wurden leider abmontiert und stattdessen wurde ein Duschvorhang aufgehängt. Da der Stoff sehr leicht war und sich nach innen gewölbt hat, sobald man das Wasser angemacht hat, war man auf dem Abfluss stehend auf 50x50cm beim Duschen beschränkt, wenn man nicht wollte, dass der Duschvorhang einen auf der gesamten Körperlänge berührte. Darüber hinaus ist die Duschabmauerung zu niedrig und/oder der Duschvorhang zu kurz, sodass nach dem Duschen das Bad um die Dusche herum unter Wasser stand, egal wie sehr man aufgepasst hat. Das Waschbecken ist zu schmal/tief - es hat die Größe eines Waschbeckens für eine Toilette und wurde noch dazu in der Ecke des Badezimmers montiert. Dadurch kann man sich nicht bequem waschen und das Wasser spritz regelmäßig vorne über den Rand des Waschbeckens. Die Lage des Apartments ist hervorragend, da es mitten in der Innenstadt liegt. Gerade aufgrund dieser Lage kann es aber samstags bis 2 Uhr nachts laut werden.

Comfortable and cosy apartment very centrally located but set in a quiet courtyard. Felt very safe and secure. Overall cleanliness was good but the tiles in the bathroom could have done with a scrub. I would also recommend a mat for the front door entrance to wipe slushy boots. Good value for money, would stay here again

Excellent location. Perfectly near everything including a bus stop for tours. Very spacious for our group. I would stay again. Only issues include many many stairs to get to our room as well as a leaking shower. Overall, I would recommend and stay there again.

Noise of vehicles as the room was facing a road. Also, could hear the footsteps and closing of doors. But comfortable beds, nice toilet, equipped kitchen with good sized round table with 4 chairs. Good WiFi and tv.

Convenient location. Close to shopping and restaurants. Apartment was big and clean. However, the pictures online was not the room we got. We got a room on the first floor and it was terrible. It was right next to the sidewalk, so you heard everyone walking by all night long. Double bed had a single size comforter on it so would not cover 2 people. Luckily it was not winter. Sofa bed were comfortable. Bathroom was large but smelled of mildew because no ventilation. I didn't use the kitchen area but it seemed well stocked. There is no parking so you have to parking on the street and pay until 6 pm and then go back out to pay starting at 9 am. Kind of a pain. Difficult to find parking too. So if you got an apartment on a high floor and didn’t have a car, this place would be great.

Excellent location, 5 mins from church and Bus Stop #8 for tours. Supermarkets nearby. Town short walk. Easy check-in at hotel 2mins away. Clean, well equipped, well heated apartment. Our 2 bed apartment was on top floor, carrying luggage up staircase was tricky. Bathroom large, good shower. Towels changed when requested, house keeping every 2 days. Large dining / table kitchen area, but only a small sofa in sitting area. Kitchen has all equipment as detailed. Main bedroom (slept 4) did not have any storage for clothes at all. Bedroom 2 (2 beds) had a chest of drawers. Lots of windows (nice!) but blinds could be better fitting, possible problem in light/summer months. Wifi was terrible at all hours of day/night; we reception advised reception but no solution found. Reception arranged early morning taxi for us.

Apartment was nice. Tight for 3 people. Check in is several blocks from apartment. Room was ready early, staff not personable. Apartment clean, well equipped kitchen, didn’t use only stayed 1 night. Room was quite far into building. Up a few stairs, down a hall, up a few more stairs, down the hall, etc, then up full flight and down the hall. Hard with luggage. Neighborhood was great! Bed comfortable. Would stay again.

Great property, would stay again. We had 2 apartments, one for a group of 3 and one for a group of 4. The space/amenities were excellent. The apartment on the 3rd floor was much quieter than the one on the first floor. on the first floor, the street level noise was sleep disruptive at times but overall not too bad if you are used to some night time city noise.

This place has a great location and the employees were friendly. The space itself was a bit tight and I wish there were blackout curtains for this long summer days. It was also very loud ALL night so I would ask for an upper level unit.

Excellent location and facilities, in heart of Reykjavik. Management, Mr Alberto were awesome, we missed our flight and couldn't reach on the day that we had reservations. Mr. Alberto amended our non-refundable reservation and found us alternate accommodations when we arrived, he got us room ready earlier than scheduled checkin time that allowed us to rest after overnight flight. Five star service. Excellent location with views of the Hallagrimskirkja and rainbow street from our window

This is in the heart of downtown Reykjavik which is walkable to all local destinations.

I booked this property at the last minute on arrival in Iceland after midnight. I had a VRBO reserved, that is a whole other story. I called and spoke to Gunnar at the property, he was able to confirm a room available and get me checked in on arrival. The room was clean, and exactly as described. The location was perfect able to walk to many Reykjavik sites, unlimited dink g and entertainment options, pubs, restaurants, music, shopping.

We needed a one night stay for 5 before heading home the next day. This apartment did the trick. The only thing I would suggest is better communication at check-in. I thought it would be a key code vs having to return to the hotel to get the key… also the fob vs a key code is a bit tough with several people. One person needed to have the fob with them to let anyone in… a code would have allowed more freedom to enter.

We had a truly positive stay at Rey Apartments this past June. We were a group of 8 which included 3 kids. The property made great recommendations including having dinner at Seafood Grill which was phenomenal and Braud bakery for some of the best morning treats. The property also arranged transportation to and from the airport. Thank you to everyone! We hope to be back in Iceland soon!

Apartment was nice. Tight for 3 people. Check in is several blocks from apartment. Room was ready early, staff not personable. Apartment clean, well equipped kitchen, didn’t use only stayed 1 night. Room was quite far into building. Up a few stairs, down a hall, up a few more stairs, down the hall, etc, then up full flight and down the hall. Hard with luggage. Neighborhood was great! Bed comfortable. Would stay again.

The property is very centrally located for walking about the down town area. It was clean and very livable with a kitchenette and a separate lounge area which was great as we were there for five days. It is a bit noisy at night but what would you expect being in the center of the town. Lots of restaurants near by, out favourite were the Thai restaurant just up the road and a great Icelandic restaurant a short five minute walk called Islenski Barinn. We ate at both of them a couple of time. For those traveling for a while, there is a pay laundromat just a couple of minutes walk which was great and payment is by card which made things easy. The only thing we didn’t like to start with is that the apartment is painted in dark colors but we got use to it. Also you need to know that the reception is about a couple of hundred meters fro the apartment and they are 24 hour reception and they will keep your bags in a lock up if you need that service. They also have a restaurant at the main reception for breakfast or dinner, although we did not take up that service.

We had a great stay at Rey Apartments in Reyjavik. Our room was fantastic and we loved having a kitchenette and lounge to use in the mornings and evening. The location was fantastic and easily walkable to the main areas of town. The apartment was clean and check in was super easy. We'd definitely stay with you again!

The location was perfect and the unit was very open and spacious. I wish the place had a coffee pot or any way to make coffee and the building outer door was very difficult to unlock. I would stay in this unit again.

Our stay at Rey Apartments was terrific! The space was perfectly appointed, very clean, with spacious common areas. The location could not have been better, a short stroll to everything! The staff was super helpful, and outside of a little initial confusion when we arrived, which was quickly resolved, it was a very nearly perfect experience! We participated in breakfast on two mornings, and that was very very good with plentiful options and fresh fruit. We will definitely consider staying there again.

Rey Apartments is walking distance to bus stops for tours. Kitchen utensils made a difference considering cost of food. I expected a coffee percolator per picture on Expedia but didn’t find one. Better check out info upon check in. Need to return key at odinsve. If you have a lot of luggage, have transportation drop you off at the property instead of Odinsve hotel.

A great location. Paid parking on the street. The apartments have 2 free parking spots first come first serve, so not always available. Loved having a kitchen and separate spaces for us and our teenager.

The location is probably the best selling point of the place. Check-in process is fine, you have to walk two mins to a hotel to check in. There’s a radio you could use at the apartment front door to call the hotel receptionist but no one answered when we called. There were some miscommunications between the hotel and the cleaning crew. We booked the hotel for two nights and the cleaning staff opened our door on the second morning at 8:30 (doesn’t make any sense even they thought we only booked one night and if the checkout time is 11 am) Overall the location is pretty good and the cafe downstairs is amazing

We love our apartment! It is a great location and check in process is very smooth. However, one thing to note is that this property does not have elevators and the 2-3 bedroom apartment is located on the 4th floor. It’s quite a hassle to carry the luggage up the spiral stair. Would still recommend the Rey apartment for group travelling.

Location is outstanding! Would stay again. No coffee maker. Just kettle, but no coffee. Bring your own instant. Also, parking is paid street parking. Tip: don’t park in P1. Drive just north to the ocean to P3 and save 80%!
