Room fittings are dated and in need of upgrading, but for the price we paid, we were happy for one night. Pool is showing its age. However, it was quiet with little road noise despite being on Princes Highway. Plenty of parking. Would stay again. .

Spa was filthy. Tried using it and dirt came out of the jets. Condom wrappers under the bed. Pull out sofa mattress was filthy! Have tried speaking to the manager three times to be told he’s not there… every time!

Went yo check in but room was not ready. Unless we asked probably would not have compensated with late check out. Very basic in room. Beds were clean and comfortable. Aircon and tv worked well. Stained bathroom shower and sink but otherwise clean. Ok for one or two nights. Swimming pool looked clean. No designated room carspace. First come first serve. Was it worth 200? Probably not but it served our purpose.

No towels, bath mats or toilet paper in the room. A dirty towel hanging the bathroom. When we turned the bed down, found numerous hairs on the sheets. Although this was not good, the lady that was there was more than accommodating to rectify it.

The room was very dusty which was bad for my hubby as he has à lung disease which irritated his lungs. We opted for a spa room but could not use the spa as there was visible soap scum and scale all around the in the spa as well as pink bacteria along the frame of the screens. I brought this to the lady on duty while checking out.All she said was " It needs a deep clean". Not even a refund for the SPA as it was extra. Kettle was dirty from spilt coffee, cups were stained, which is from only being rinsed not washed.

stayed in the executive suite the carpets were dirty and dated all the furnishings were very outdated and damaged. There was mold in the bathroom. There was rat droppings on the side of the bedside table. It was a very unpleasant dated room that I would never use again air conditioners didn’t quite work correctly. All remote controls were held together with duct tape and you had to fiddle with them to try to get them to work basically just a very unpleasant stay

Have stayed here a number of times with pleasure. The staff are lovely. This time there was no servicing of the room at all. (three night stay) Had to ask for fresh towels. Breakfast offer is quite miserable at $10 PP. No microwave. Paper plates (cereal bowls), bamboo cutlery, no bread for toast etc. Cereal, juice, fruit salad pouch, extra milk UHT pack for cereal. There is tea & coffee makings in the room with some biscuit packs & little milk pods. This was acceptable through Covid, but we should be past that now! On the plus side, the rooms are very clean on arrival.

This motel is very basic and run down. The walls are paper thin and room in very poor condition. The window did not lock and I asked reception to fix it and never saw anyone in the 4 days. Lady next door smoked and it filled our room with the smoke smell at all hours of the day. I would not stay here again.

Executive Room was spacious, excellent bed and linen, large bathroom. Would have liked a microwave in the room, teaspoons, clean mugs, water glasses and an extra toilet roll. Was very noisy during the night with one resident playing TV at full volume and another practising a guitar. Both after midnight. Room, while clean, could have been maintained better as overdue for an upgrade. Most economical for the area and served the purpose for our visit. Parking directly outside.

Location was great for our purposes. The room, well it would have been nice when built in circa 1982. Badly in need of renovation and as a result despite being fairly well cleaned it felt old and dirty. The bed also needs replacing. For the price in that area, fairly reasonable value but next time we need to stay in that region I’ll be booking elsewhere.

Easy to get to and check in although we paid when checking in the morning and then when we went to collect the key in the early evening we're told we had not paid so we paid again then receptionist realised we had paid and payment reversed so all ok in the end Need clearer communication between staff in the Morning and afternoon shifts

Hard to park in car park. Checkin waited over 15 minutes outside the door with no response. Convenient location Bathroom door wouldn’t stay shut. Ironing board like a child’s play toy. Need handrails to access the shower

The customer service at the motel was brilliant. The checkin staff were extremely accommodating, allowing us to park our boat trailer in the motel parking area, where it was very safe overnight. Customer service like this is awesome - congratulations, we will definately stay with you again when visiting Botany Bay for a sailing championship and recommend you to other sailing families for your can do attitude! Thanks

The rooms are ok but the bathrooms deserve to be renovated. Easy to access by car, and not too far from Sydney. The Sylvania bay is very nice.

The property is a short drive away from cafe’s restaurants and Miranda Westfield . Staff was friendly and welcoming. Parking right outside your door so easy to bring in your bags . Bed was comfy it’s great value for the price it’s dated decor but perfect for us we needed an overnight stay near the hospital.

Abcot Inn offered a quiet, reasonably priced room in the right area for the event we were attending. There was a lot of storage space in the unit and a much-appreciated room fridge. We regard it as good value for money!

Linen was clean. Bed was comfortable. Unfortunately this motel requires significant renovation and looks like it has done for years. Very worn fixtures. Air con kept turning itself off well before it got down to the set temp. Wet glass and dirty cup in cupboard. Did not want to touch any of those items. Take thongs or slippers. Shower is over a very high, deep bath; had to bring a chair over to hold onto to get in and out; slippery with no anti-slip mat in the base of the bath. This property is hard to get to in peak hour. Try to come in from the North and stay in the left lane all the way. Nightmare coming from the South. If you have a car, get in there and try not to have to take it out again; it gets tight in the carpark. Close to Kirawee shops.

Great location to Gymea and Miranda where I needed to be for my visit. Buildings tired need a fresh paint. There was unfortunately a cockroach in my jug when I poured my first tea. Maybe pest inspection needed.

Its in a reasonable condition for the cost and is in a handy general location to get to places. Just there is some road noise that makes it a bit hard to get to sleep till it dies down, bring your ear plugs!

Location was great for our purposes. The room, well it would have been nice when built in circa 1982. Badly in need of renovation and as a result despite being fairly well cleaned it felt old and dirty. The bed also needs replacing. For the price in that area, fairly reasonable value but next time we need to stay in that region I’ll be booking elsewhere.

The motel is quite dated, especially the shower, but putting that aside is has some strong positives. The old school high water pressure in the shower is fantastic, the service was good; the vending machine was a nice touch, and it is very cost effective for Sydney if you need to visit the Shire and the surrounds.

The room was dated and tired. Multiple furniture was marked and well in need of replacement. I wa frustrated that there was no plug for the basin for when I wanted to shave. Bed was comfortable and I slept well. The room was quiet and the a/c worked well and quietly. Shower was good and amenities were good. Disappointing that they don’t do a cooked breakfast in their dining room. A missed opportunity for increased revenue. Headed dow ln the road for breakfast though.

We paid $120pn for two nights. The room was so bad we asked about a better room. We were given the disabled unit for no extra charge plus extra milk and biscuits. Ho hum. The first room had a coat and dirty towel in the robe, mould on the outside of the fridge, not vaccumed recently, breakfast rations ordered the nighht before were out of date - only by a week, all second-hand looking furniture , cooler was beyond its capacity, mouldy shower curtain outside the step into the shower so water was outside. The disabled room was not really any cleaner but better. Mouldy shower curtain on a rusty rod. Door to bathroom was off its runners and difficult to operate. Electrical wiring in both rooms was a bit 'iffy' and I am sure would not meet regulations. When I booked online, each motel I looked at in the area said only one or two units available, so hurredly booked to make sure we had a bed. Onsite, the motel was mostly vacant.

Have stayed here a number of times with pleasure. The staff are lovely. This time there was no servicing of the room at all. (three night stay) Had to ask for fresh towels. Breakfast offer is quite miserable at $10 PP. No microwave. Paper plates (cereal bowls), bamboo cutlery, no bread for toast etc. Cereal, juice, fruit salad pouch, extra milk UHT pack for cereal. There is tea & coffee makings in the room with some biscuit packs & little milk pods. This was acceptable through Covid, but we should be past that now! On the plus side, the rooms are very clean on arrival.

Property was clean and tidy including the swimming pool. Only criticism was that the restaurant menu in visitor's guide was out of date - menu items had changed and of course so had the prices.

Old style room, very clean. Unfortunately the bed was very hard and uncomfortable and it’s not their fault but you can hear traffic noises from the highway all night, plus the walls are quite thin, so you can hear people talking both in the rooms and the car park.

Good location in the shire district. Rooms are quite and you dont hear the highway at any times of the day. Rooms are clean, tidy and spacious. Beds are comfortable so you shoud enjoy a good nights sleep. Shower is 8 out of 10, so its good. Only thing i found the room to be lacking is a microwave, for a longer stay you may be able to have 1 brought to the room. Overall, clean, tidy, comfy, staff are friendly and there is a fairly cheap vending machine for that late night snack.
