Great place for a quick trip to POC, staff was great to work with and offer late checkout which is nice to come back and shower after a morning on the water. Only complaint is that the mosquitoes were so bad in the parking area.

This property was perfect for a short fishing trip. They had room to park the boat and truck. It was very clean and affordable. They cleaned, made the beds, and put new towels in everyday. There was an ice machine for ice chests. Free WiFi and small breakfast in the morning. I’m a coffee drinker so it was nice to go get coffee every morning before heading out to fish.

First let me say this hotel is in a great location to everything in Port O’Connor. You can walk to the nearest boat ramp and the hotels parking lot has electrical outlets to charge the batteries on your boat. But… I have stayed at this hotel three times in the last three years and it seems to be getting in worse shape while the price goes up. We could never get our water above luke warm, the bathroom door wouldn’t stay closed, the main door was sagging and couldn’t latch the lock, the door would only open half way and then hit the bed so we had to shuffle in and out lol. I used to look the other way on these things when the price was half as much as it is now but I can’t recommend spending this much money on a room like that.

Bathroom towels looked dirty, room had really bad layout where you had a hard time opening either front door or bathroom door. Bathroom smelled like hot garbage and had no AC and an exposed electrical box across from the shower. AC was really good. I would only recommend this to hardcore males that are there to fish and drink beer. In other words, don't bring a date, they won't be impressed.

It'll work for a place to lay your head. All furniture was either damaged or well-used/second hand. TV only worked on 1 channel. Wifi was good. The flooring was confusing; it had peaks and valleys that were very noticeable, and other areas were soft. The main door to the room had inch gaps wjere lighting got through and the air. This probable made the noise worse; you could hear everything going on outside, from conversations to crickets. Staff was friendly enough and the included breakfast was comparable to the typical hotel breakfast. Pricing was different from what was booked; kinda confusing. Overall, for a last minute trip, this olace was ok. Not sure I'd book in advance for a vacation.

The property was average. It was clean, there are chips in the bath tub and the bottom of the tub was so slick I slipped twice without injury. The soap used made the tub bottom even more slippery and dangerous.

Stayed at a newly renovated room at American Inn and Suites in Port O' Connor. Everything was clean and comfortable. Check-in at the front desk was a breeze, and manager Sam Patel was exceedingly gracious, providing great customer service, even calling to let me know I had left something in the room after check-out. Will be returning!

The room was nice and clean. Had a big chair that was at the door made it difficult to enter and exit. Lady at the desk was pleasant. We are going to make reserves again for our next visit in April. Was close to the water and boat ramps. Didn't know if they offered a place to clean fish or not.

There was an ice machine for ice chests. Free WiFi and small breakfast in the morning. I’m a coffee drinker so it was nice to go get coffee every morning before heading out to fish.

This property was perfect for a short fishing trip. They had room to park the boat and truck. It was very clean and affordable. They cleaned, made the beds, and put new towels in everyday. Everything was good. The towels were a bit thin but they did their job. No complaints. Did not eat the included breakfast because too many carbs. Looked good though. Front desk person was very sweet and hospitable.

We liked the location of the property, and the owners were extremely nice and helpful. The AC worked amazing (it was 104 when we stayed) we loved the idea of 3 beds in the room. We didnt like the hole in the bottom of the door, big enough for roaches or even mice to come in. The whole room looks like it was never repaired fully from the area's last hurricane. The wifi didnt really work in the room and the breakfast was honey buns and cereal. Definitely not what we expected for an included breakfast. But again, SUPER nice owners. They helped try to fix the TV and were very accomodating.

It’s an older place but the current owners keep it up. Owners are great people! Easy check in and out. Breakfast is perfect for on the go. Wifi and tv are good, comfy beds.

Friendly staff, clean room. The place looks a little run down on the outside but my room was excellent. I can't speak about breakfast because I left real early for a fishing trip but I did see they had cereal, coffee and a few pastries like honey buns and brownies.

Office staff wasn’t in the office when I needed assistance and I was waiting behind someone else that needed assistance. They were very friendly and helpful and resolved my issue once available. My room was clean and I saw housekeeping actively working.

We checked in very late on Friday and were greeted by the sweet man at the front desk. He got us checked in quickly and was very kind and accommodating. The room was great. It was clean, cool, and spacious. The property was quiet and also well maintained. Any staff we encountered from the front desk to the cleaning crew were all super friendly and kind. This is a perfect little spot to stay in POC for a fun beach weekend. We will definitely be returning! Thanks for a great stay!
