On the plus side, the rooms were clean and had nice mattresses. On the negative side, some of the containers that said shampoo, etc in the bathroom were empty, the rooms smelled slightly of smoke covered by spray, the non-smoking sign was missing from the door, and the pool had green stuff in the water.

The people are very nice and there are always rooms avail. I love getting the one with the hot tub in the room. The pool is broken down and gross and probably a mosquito pit. The rooms were cleaned but not very good there was pee on the seat when we came in and the floors were so dirty my feet were black.

The only issue was the pool was being cleaned and was not in use. Very friendly staff, clean room, bed was GREAT! I have back and leg issues, the pillows and bed were very comfortable I slept well! I will stay here again.

This hotel should be taken off your list. It was dirty. Sheets and towels were old and used. The floor was filthy. No blanket on bed. The air conditioner was noisy and woke us from sleep every time it turned on (condenser). The pool was green and unusable. No ice, it was locked up. No one should used this place and it is only place close by where we were going, so we had no choice. This place is not taken care of, the owners need to give up if this is the best they can do. Expedia is just saying (oh sorry, nothing we can do about it). TAKE THIS HOTEL OFF THE LIST EXPEDIA (THAT IS YOUR FAULT)

This place was disgusting. Walls in room were stained and nasty. Toilet was loose. Door facing had been chewed up apparently by a dog. Sofa was shredded. Furniture was old, scratched. Pool was a cesspool. Vending room closed. Comforters were thread bare. Asked for a refund and was refused and laughed at by owner/manager. Room was supposed to be smoke free, but wasn’t. Security latch was broken on door. Water running thru parking lot. Greasy handprints on wall of bathroom. AC was cold and good water pressure. This place should be removed from Hotels.com. The only reason I stayed was because of holiday weekend and other hotels were booked.

The swimming pool was closed on a 95 degree day. It looked fine, but we were told we couldn't swim. If we had know this we wouldn't have stayed there. Manager were not friendly.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting, filthy doesn't even begin to describe the cleanliness. Front desk employee was rude, door to the room did not properly close, couch in room looked like it was recycled from the dumpster. Asked for a refund and she gave me a hard time.

Room was dirty. Doorframe from the latch to the slide lock was broken. It was obvious the door had been kicked in. It smelled HEAVILY of cigarettes. The TV had no service. Overall: horrible experience.

On the outside , very nice, but the room , was not clean, floor was dirty, the shower , great water pressure. Loved that , but again cobwebs, dirty floors and dirt around the shower. Bed was larger, bed sheets looked dirt, hey price was great for 3 nights. I would stay again , if they would clean it.

On a date when every other inn in the area was charging $250 for the night The Whitesboro Inn was a very reasonable rate. Our expectations were not very high. This was a mercy trip, delivering the remain of a Vietnam era veteran to his family after three decades of family separation. The staff was pleasant, helpful, and exceedingly polite. The Inn is in the process of being completely refurbished after years of obvious neglect. While the decor and furnishings are very dated the room was very clean, comfortable, and functional. I recommend it and wish the new owners great success in their enterprise.

I loved that I was able to find a smoking room. But at least spray the room or put a plug in air freshener. Turn on the AC unit a little. It just ended a little fresh air before we walked into it other than that it was wonderful

Room very outdated. Condition was poor. AC was noisy to where it was hard to sleep than a few hours later the AC started to smell like it was burning up so the remainder of the night we had no AC. The bath tub was so nasty I did not want to shower. I would rate this place maybe a 1 star

Older facility with upgrades. Large room with the essentials. Bathroom door will not close. Same problem with different room on previous visit. Overall an affordable place to stay. Do not expect a high end hotel on value price. However, It has everything necessary with no frills and comfortable bed. Good value. We will stay again when in Whitesboro.

The room was spacious but needs renovation. A/C kept cycling on and off which kept us awake. The staff was nice and professional. The room was not adequately stocked ie. shampoo, soap dispensers empty, needed more towels etc.

Door jam had been damaged and was patched rather than replaced. Easy for someone to break in. Microwave was black with bubbles inside causing a fire hazard had it been used. Unable to cook my dinner due to this. Generally clean but not safe .

Sofa has a tear on the cushion corner. Both sofa & chair looked stained and not clean to sit on. Mattress was hard & squeaky. Neighbors dog barked non stop for hour before we left.

It was awful! They allow pets and don’t tell you it’s 5.00 a night for each pet! No it’s not much but still they need to tell people and you can’t leave your animal in the room if you leave or you will get a phone call that your dog is barking! You can’t understand a word the owners say! They are VERY RUDE!!! I would not send my worst enemy there! The owner that called me during a work meeting failed to mention the Hotel was completely empty and could have moved the people that were complaining. But, they were outside grilling Ofcourse my Dog is going to Bark!! Once again AWEFUL!! The rooms are nasty! No ice machine and the vending machine’s have bird poop all over due to ALL THE BIRDS IN THE TREES!!!

I admit I was concered about this reservation but I was actually pleasantly surprised at the room. While you could tell it is an older property, the flooring and some of the furnishings were updated and everything was clean. Except maybe the shower curtain which I reported to management. As well as the fact that the blow dryer didn't work. Otherwise it was a good location and price for our overnight stay.

I admit I was concered about this reservation but I was actually pleasantly surprised at the room. While you could tell it is an older property, the flooring and some of the furnishings were updated and everything was clean. Except maybe the shower curtain which I reported to management. As well as the fact that the blow dryer didn't work. Otherwise it was a good location and price for our overnight stay.

Room is older but it was clean for the most part(couch has stains and towels are dingy,bathroom door wouldnt close) . I did not see any bugs and nobody elses hair in the sinks or shower and the room didnt smell bad. Area was quiet. Good value for the price and last minute booking.

Pool was green front door locked when arrived had to find staff to get checked in no ice machine no breakfast bed was nice though

When checking in, we were told that multiple beds would cost us $10 more. We were already there and did not want to travel to another hotel. The AC unit in the room was off when we walked in the room. It is the middle of summer in the DFW area which means hot and humid. It took half the night for it to really cool off in there. We will not be staying there again. Save your money and go elsewhere if you are thinking about staying here.
