Parking was good. Didnt eat beakfast but coffee bar was good. Overall it was the bugs the next morning on the floor that bothered me.

Very very dated on the outside. Older, original Motel type. Room was clean..bathroom remodeled. However, some items were broken. Bed was fabulous. Good for an overnight stay if you are traveling through like we did. Limited choices in town, so it worked. Great price also. Much cheaper than everything near freeway.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. We were on a golf trip . The hotel was well Situated for our needs. There was slot of parking . Coffee was excellent at breakfast but food options limited .

The room was renovated, very clean and everything worked properly including the HVAC unit. The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. Security lighting for the parking area was excellent. Breakfast was also very good.

When I pulled up to the property I IMMEDIATELY TURNED AROUND and left. The look of the property turned me off well it actually frightened me. It made me think of Bates Motel with Norman and his mother. I was willing to loose my money I prepaid because I refused to stay at a place looking like that. Terrible look please fix the outside

The location was near our route and was convenient to access. A few dining options nearby. The room and inside of hotel was recently remodeled. The exterior has not been remodeled but obviously will be next. The bed was very comfortable. The desk clerk was very nice.

Older motel but can see they have been doing upgrades remodel. Comfortable bed, excellent hot water, not a lot of noise or door slamming. Friendly and pleasant staff upon checking in and out.

The room was OK, mostly clean, but not exceptional (found a pubic hair in the bed). The free breakfast left a lot to be desired, especially the 2nd day when they didn't serve sausage or boiled eggs, just yogurt, toast, fruit, cereal, & waffles.

Great price. Rooms were clean and seemed newly renovated, fantastic deal. Friendly and fast check in. Wood floors felt much cleaner than traditional carpet. My only complaint was a wad of hair in tub drain. Would definitely stay again.

Rooms are modern and very clean! Staff was super friendly, and besides being the cheapest in a 50 mile radius, very well managed..alot of construction crews stay here, and very safe!

Basic hotel on short notice. Nice staff, felt Its age but had super comfy beds and pillows. We didn't know about the spring festival before we got to town but were able to catch a lantern tour at the cemetery that was super fun

The front desk gentleman was lovely. He was full of helpful tips on where to eat,etc. This is a very old & modest hotel which I have no problem with but I had booked a nonsmoking room. My 1st room reeked of smoke & mildew. There was no way I could stay in the room so I went to the front desk, the nice man apologized & said that housekeeping hadn't reported this but he gave me another room. It was an improvement but both my room & my guests room reeked of smoke & something I'm not sure of. Not really mildew or body order but something not good. We left the doors open to air it out & we bought Fabreeze & sprayed the heck out of the rooms which kind of helped. There was a blob of something on my bed skirt. If the owners are reading this & really want to improve this hotel and I hope they do, please start room by room and deep clean. Have the handyman properly paint and caulk the bathrooms & do repairs. The inside of my bathroom door was all chewed up on the bottom. I'm sure the hollow core door had been cut with a dull saw but it looks like a wild animal was chewing to get out. I'm guessing that the bottom floors are 'smoking' rooms that waft up to the upper floors. I'm sure that this hotel is catering to those that smoke as my room had a cigarette dispenser outside the door & I understand that. Just don't market as a nonsmoking. Breakfast was good & had variety of choices. This was a quiet place, bed was good but it was hard to get past the smells.

The staff here was good and room was very comfortable. My only complaint was other guests who checked in and had a party in the parking lot and left garbage everywhere. This made me very uncomfortable as a woman as they were all men just hanging out.

Property could use a good remodeling. On the plus side, the bed was comfortable and the room was clean. Downside there was an inch gap under the front door that let in cold air and who knows what else. The electric socket in the bathroom would not reset and was useless and we never could connect to their internet as it would never allow the password to be entered.

Overall, I would give this hotel 4 stars. The best part of my stay was definitely the staff, they were very welcoming, attentive, and went out of their way to make the experience enjoyable. The location of the property was also quite good, with easy access to the surrounding area and convenient for getting around. That said, there are some areas that could use improvement. The overall cleanliness did not meet my expectations and the property itself feels a bit worn down and in need of updating. With some attention to upkeep and better housekeeping, this hotel has the potential to be much better. Even with those issues, the great staff and good location made the stay pleasant, and I would consider staying again.

The location was near our route and was convenient to access. A few dining options nearby. The room and inside of hotel was recently remodeled. The exterior has not been remodeled but obviously will be next. The bed was very comfortable. The desk clerk was very nice.

My only complaint is that the bathroom was small and the shower water went from Lukewarm to blazing hot in the middle of my girlfriend's shower. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable. I slept well on the bed. The TV had a good picture. Breakfast wasn't 5 stars but it was good and filling. My room was peaceful and quiet on a Friday night. I will definitely stay there again if I ever find myself in town again.

Our room was very clean and comfortable. We were on a golf trip . The hotel was well Situated for our needs. There was slot of parking . Coffee was excellent at breakfast but food options limited .

It’s an older property. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was what I expected. My room was a little warm in the evening. I believe the bed was a tad bit too far from the ac unit. The price was reasonable. Definitely would stay next time I’m in Cheraw.

The room was renovated, very clean and everything worked properly including the HVAC unit. The room was very spacious and the bed very comfortable. Security lighting for the parking area was excellent. Breakfast was also very good.

The room was OK, mostly clean, but not exceptional (found a pubic hair in the bed). The free breakfast left a lot to be desired, especially the 2nd day when they didn't serve sausage or boiled eggs, just yogurt, toast, fruit, cereal, & waffles.

Nice hotel. Very clean and well managed. The employees are very accommodating and polite. The lobby/eating area bathroom was out of service, so one would have to go back to their room to use facilities. A good selection of breakfast items.

The inside is better that the painted, but old outside. Lots of people staying there for longer term, but still quiet. Good location - no food. good beds.

Upon arrival, it was very clear and apparent that this was NOT a safe place. There were several groups of people hanging out and gathering all about outside the doors of their rooms. The picture of hotel on Hotel.com DID NOT reflect actual photos of this place. We had asked if we could cancel our reservations as the event we attended ended early than expected and we actually could make it home. The check in person said we had to cancel with Hotel.com. I called Hotel.com and the lady placed me on hold while she called the check in attendant. When she returned to my call she said he refused to cancel reservations. I stood at counter with him right there on speaker phone and he was saying, he was new and could not get in computer and all was Hotel.com fault for prohibiting cancellation. Each blamed each other. The additional irritation to me was that the place was booked completely from the local event. There were two people standing in lobby saying yes great yall trying to cancel because now we can get the rooms. The check in attendant told them No, he wasn’t canceling our reservation thus not giving them the opportunity for booking and paying for room and staying. So we restated that we needed to cancel and there were people wanting rooms ( our rooms) and he turned them away to leave as we too were leaving this “Baymont by Wyndham “ facility. They weren’t going to lose money since others wanted our rooms! Not very customer friendly or willing to assist others. Dont book here

Room had multiple cockroaches in it. Multiple spiders on the walls. Would never ever stay here again. Cannot believe the reviews are so good on here. Beware. Arrived too late to request a new room.
