I booked this trip 6 months ago and when receiving the notification of construction I was extremely concerned. I will say to notify after free cancellation window closed was the most worrisome. Due to several travel delays we arrived late in the evening. The staff manages multiple properties, and we had a small wait to check in. This was honestly the only hiccup… minor. This property is absolutely gorgeous. The view left us in awe, not to mention it’s not entirely secluded but is very calm. There’s a store, few restaurants, coffee shop and gas within minutes of the store. More within 30-45 minute drive there is more including casino (Recommend trying yellow dog espresso when visiting). Walking distance to beach access. You can rent beach equipment and bikes for free at the local shop which is a great perk! I would come back for sure, the view alone was serene and staff were very friendly!

The Inn was easy to check into, but we came in late when all the doors were locked. Pet friendly was a plus, easy parking, but pool & hot tub is across the street and closes at 8pm, no breakfast and the room smelled stuffy. Easy walk across the street to the beach and coffee shop just next door. Would stay here again with dogs, but a room across the street would come with higher amenities which would be nice.

I views from the rooms is a 10! The rooms are really nice; however, the air conditioning didn’t work very well. Hard to sleep when the room temperature was 75. A bit disappointed that the hotel didn’t provide drip coffee by the front desk which would be very easy to do since there is a coffee shop right inside the same building. The coffee shop is the ONLY place to get coffee within a 30 minute drive, ugh. Also, if you are going to handout cookies, please try and serve cookies that are t as hard as a rock. It’s a nice touch but poorly executed. Also be aware that the pool and jacuzzi is behind a store and is not occupied by anyone who can let you in. I noticed guests that were using the pool were not staying at the hotel so quite packed. It was not well maintained and didn’t return during our remaining days though you are charged an amenities fee, ridiculous.

One of my favorite coastal hotels, but a warning on the HEAVY construction being done would have been nice. Or a discount for having to move my car, not having enough parking, and hearing hammers and saws all day. The remodel will be beautiful, but this trip wasn’t the best.

The hotel was undergoing a remodel. Nice room but construction all around. Check to make certain it is completed. Staff could not have been more helpful - even put in the extra lamp by the bed. We were disappointed the pool was across the street in another building. View was amazing. Pillows needed upgrading - way too soft - but the bed was fine.

This was a nice property with clean rooms and a nice lobby area. The pool is in the next building but it was nice and the hot tub was great. The stimulus cafe in the building was really tasty for breakfast and was nice to have some vegetarian/vegan options. Cape Kiwands is right across the street so it was nice to go and hike/explore that. There is construction across the street right now, so a bit of an eye sore, but could still see the ocean and the haystack rock. It wasn't noisy or anything so not a big inconvenience. I would not recommend eating at Pelican brewery across the street. It is old, run down, the food is seriously overpriced and poor quality. Some locals recommended trying other pubs in town instead as well, wish we would've listened other.

Clean, spacious room with great deck and indoor seating area and fireplace, though furniture seemed to be mismatched. Nice shower. Excellent Coffee shop and Bakery in hotel! Cons: hotel along the main road - though was no issue with noise; check-in lobby was not very inviting and staff seemed disinterested.

We spent two nights at the Inn at Cape Kiwanda and loved our stay! We especially loved the balcony that looked out over the ocean and The Rock! We also enjoyed the gas fireplace and couch as well as the TV and access to DVDs in the lobby. It was awesome to be able to walk across the street and have immediate access to the beach as well as a good restaurant. All the staff we encountered were friendly and polite! We also enjoyed being able to order breakfast at the Stimulus Cafe and have it delivered to our room!

For the price, this was not a great place. It is right on a very busy road and the traffic noise takes away from the enjoyment of having the windows open to enjoy the ocean sounds. They advertised Starbucks coffee on their web site and the coffee they had was some cheap, terrible stuff. We bought our own. The bathroom door was all scratched up, likely from a pet. We asked for garbage service our second night there and no one came to empty it. The screen on the sliding glass door didn't close completely and there were what looked like rat droppings all over the deck. The t.v. is very small. The free amenities are a nice touch: bikes, umbrellas, beach chairs. We won't be back.

Awesome room included a large sofa with fireplace and patio with chairs overlooking the beach area with haystack rock (over a road and parking lot). Easy to walk to beach, sand dune and a few shops, Pelican brewing and restaurants. No charge for parking is nice.

This a BEAUTIFUL hotel! The view of Cape Kiwanda is wonderful from the room. The street can get pretty busy and noisy with the big diesel trucks towing the Dory boats in and out of the parking lot. There is A LOT of amenities around and great food spots across the street. Most comfortable bed and pillows that I have ever slept on.

They are just finishing up a renovation. The room was just renovated and was beautiful. Every room has a view of the ocean and Haystack Rock. It’s across the street from beach and Pelican Brewery. Loved every minute.

Beautiful view of the ocean! The hotel is almost done with a remodel. Our room was clean and updated. You will hear traffic from the road and parking lot but we turned on the ac which drowned out the noise. Bed was comfy and loved the fireplace and sitting area.

We paid way too much for what we got in return. Couldn’t check in early and ended up checking in late. We tried to call the desk at 8pm and no one answered or was able to help us. They have good accommodations but not worth it.

The view was perfect from our room (204). The location was convenient for what we were there for (wedding venue). The staff is so friendly and accommodating. I’d stay here again!

REASON FOR OUR STAY THERE WAS THE OCEAN VIEW. It was marred by construction equipment right in front of the hotel and road disruption. Apparently it will go on until summer. Also inconvenient to have pool and hottub and very small gym in a different building especially since it was cold and rainy. We asked for room to be serviced at check in and when we arrived back to the room the next day at 5pm the bed had not yet been made, only towels were changed.

- Recently renovated. - Lobby and common areas were just one very small room. - Reception is only open 11am-8pm. If you need something outside those hours you are out of luck. There is a phone number to call but nobody answers it. - In our case one of our kids puked and we needed new sheets at 10pm, and there was no way to get them, so we had to use towels for sheets.

I love this hotel...but be warned, they are doing construction across the street (October 2023) and the noise started at 7am. Not exactly restful. But I've stayed before and will stay again.

Awesome room included a large sofa with fireplace and patio with chairs overlooking the beach area with haystack rock (over a road and parking lot). Easy to walk to beach, sand dune and a few shops, Pelican brewing and restaurants. No charge for parking is nice.

Location is great. Near good dining options, store is nextdoor, parking was close and very easy, staff are wonderful, hotel has numerous extras that are great for the beach. Location is very ideal for our family and visiting the beach. We love Pacific City!

This a BEAUTIFUL hotel! The view of Cape Kiwanda is wonderful from the room. The street can get pretty busy and noisy with the big diesel trucks towing the Dory boats in and out of the parking lot. There is A LOT of amenities around and great food spots across the street. Most comfortable bed and pillows that I have ever slept on.

This was the perfect stay in the most tiniest little town. We loved it, had a nice view of the ocean and there was a coffee shop right underneath us. We would love to go back when exploring Oregon!

This was a nice property with clean rooms and a nice lobby area. The pool is in the next building but it was nice and the hot tub was great. The stimulus cafe in the building was really tasty for breakfast and was nice to have some vegetarian/vegan options. Cape Kiwands is right across the street so it was nice to go and hike/explore that. There is construction across the street right now, so a bit of an eye sore, but could still see the ocean and the haystack rock. It wasn't noisy or anything so not a big inconvenience. I would not recommend eating at Pelican brewery across the street. It is old, run down, the food is seriously overpriced and poor quality. Some locals recommended trying other pubs in town instead as well, wish we would've listened other.

They are just finishing up a renovation. The room was just renovated and was beautiful. Every room has a view of the ocean and Haystack Rock. It’s across the street from beach and Pelican Brewery. Loved every minute.

We're in town for a wedding and it was very convenient. The view from the balcony was gorgeous on our sunny day and overall it was very pleasant. Just wished that there was more food or snacks available after hours because we got in real late

Nice place to stay. Wonderful view of my favorite haystack rock, beach and ocean from balcony of room. Balcony was a perfect place to sit enjoy cup of delicious coffee from coffee shop in same building. Balcony kept wind and rain off of us. Staff was friendly.

The Inn was easy to check into, but we came in late when all the doors were locked. Pet friendly was a plus, easy parking, but pool & hot tub is across the street and closes at 8pm, no breakfast and the room smelled stuffy. Easy walk across the street to the beach and coffee shop just next door. Would stay here again with dogs, but a room across the street would come with higher amenities which would be nice.

I views from the rooms is a 10! The rooms are really nice; however, the air conditioning didn’t work very well. Hard to sleep when the room temperature was 75. A bit disappointed that the hotel didn’t provide drip coffee by the front desk which would be very easy to do since there is a coffee shop right inside the same building. The coffee shop is the ONLY place to get coffee within a 30 minute drive, ugh. Also, if you are going to handout cookies, please try and serve cookies that are t as hard as a rock. It’s a nice touch but poorly executed. Also be aware that the pool and jacuzzi is behind a store and is not occupied by anyone who can let you in. I noticed guests that were using the pool were not staying at the hotel so quite packed. It was not well maintained and didn’t return during our remaining days though you are charged an amenities fee, ridiculous.

We spent two nights at the Inn at Cape Kiwanda and loved our stay! We especially loved the balcony that looked out over the ocean and The Rock! We also enjoyed the gas fireplace and couch as well as the TV and access to DVDs in the lobby. It was awesome to be able to walk across the street and have immediate access to the beach as well as a good restaurant. All the staff we encountered were friendly and polite! We also enjoyed being able to order breakfast at the Stimulus Cafe and have it delivered to our room!

Was my first time staying here, had driven by many times, just had never stopped for an overnight in Pacific city. Booked it the day of on my way, leaving Portland and heading to the beach chasing the sunshine. The food at the Meridian restaurant across the street is fabulous! Great views from the room and balcony. Was under a little bit of construction/remodel, there was some hammer banging earlier in the morning, but everything they were doing in the remodel looked great. I look forward to coming back.

Great location. Room is spacious and clean and looks like the pictures. Bathroom is large but shower is incredibly small. Amenities are not useful. Reception area feels nothing like the pictures. Climbing the dunes for an incredible sunset view is totally worth it and easy to get to, tho the climb is a calf burner!

Everything was excellent!!! My only concern is that I am used to getting my expenses printed out and handed to me at check-out, not Emailed to me a week later....We had a beautiful view and the room was supreme....Thank you all for a Great time!!!

Check in was at 4 pm, the room wasn’t ready until 4:45. We had a 6 year old and two three year olds. We were offered any consolations. At the low end, drink vouchers at the least. Also the pool and other amenities were additional fees. That wasn’t clear in the booking description .
