Hotel Casa Palopo

Beautiful property, ideal for R & R. Restaurant staff and chef were excellent and very accommodating to our dietary needs (mainly vegetarian). Rooms are very spacious with a nice balcony. Only downside was that there was no air-condition in our room.

The staff was amazing - especially the waiters in both restaurants. The food was delicious, but dinners were a bit overpriced in my opinion. As there is not much to do around the hotel, it would be nice if they had a complimentary shuttle. But a beautiful, relaxing property that is well maintained.

This was our second stay at Casa Palopo. Although the rooms are wonderful and the property is gorgeous, it is a little tough to get around with so many stairs and no railings in sight. We like to hike, and unfortunately, this property is not conducive to that; the road is too busy to take your life in your hands, and the property itself has nothing. No one showed us the pools or gave us an orientation; we had stayed before, but things have been added such as the restaurant at the lake. We could see paddleboards at the pier, but had no idea if guests could use them or any other lake goodies. No tours are offered, and the "birding" there consists of offering you a pair of binoculars. The food was great and the people who work there all wonderful.

Our stay was 10/10. Maritza at the front desk was extremely helpful and helped us fill a two day itinerary with everything we wanted to do. The food and drinks were very good. Spa sauna is highly recommend with great views. Boat tour across the multiple towns in the lake is also a must.
