Excellent location, just a short walk to lovely Grace Bay, shopping and restaurants! POC is a good value for the price. We really enjoyed the beach there and loved having chairs and umbrellas we could use. They also had volleyball, kayaks and paddle boards for guests. The hotel and pool are nice though really dated. Our room was missing a window screen and had a broken light, the AC didn’t work, and they had a water leak so shut off water one night. We liked the free breakfast and all day coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful. The welcome drinks, poolside bar, and pool table were a nice touch. We would definitely stay here again for the great location.

This was an interesting property. Although described as a "resort," I would not define it as a such. It's actually a hotel, a nice hotel, but a hotel. The so-called "resort" feature seems built around the fact that it's immediately adjacent to (i.e., across a very small parking lot) a few fun shops, good cafes/restaurants, and a nice bar. And the whole area is called "Ports of Call." BUT. . . there is NO restaurant actually in the hotel proper, which means no room service. They do, however, provide a nice daily hot breakfast. The pool is nice, while the hot tub/jacuzzi is only okay (barely big enough for 3 people, which is enough to make things a bit uncomfortable. lol). But overall it's a good value compared to some other nearby hotels that are OUTRAGEOUSLY expensive. And right across the street is a well-stocked big grocery store, pharmacy & even an Urgent Care (which I used cuz I got sand in my eye). Grace Beach is a stone's throw away & they'll take you in a golf cart. Staff is pleasant & nice (especially the sweet gals working breakfast). Oddly, the laundry for guests broke down, yet they never fixed it. But they did then do our laundry for same price had we done it ourselves. Towels for pool/beach are available at front desk. And best of all the place is quiet, quiet, quiet. Not a lot of partying here, which was nice. Oh, but, be warned that there is no elevator. It's a walk up to 2nd/3rd. No big deal for us, but a different story for older/disabled peeps. Very comfy.

For the price it was worth it compared to the majority of resorts on the island. Can’t beat the location, right in the center of downtown Grace Bay Area. Quick walk to the beach or they have a golf cart shuttle available to drive you to and from. Beach/pool towels available to take with you, free use of resort chairs and umbrellas on the beach at no additional fee. Breakfast is included, but it did not meet our needs so we ate elsewhere - some days hot food was offered but most days it was boiled eggs, yogurt, cereal, and bagels/pastries. Plenty of good cafe and restaurant options nearby to choose from, and a grocery store across the street - just be sure to check if your room has a full kitchen or just a mini fridge. I’d definitely stay here again for the price and convenience alone.

We had a wonderful stay. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and filling. Offerings of eggs, fruit, cereal, bacon, coffee, juices, rotated during the week. Perfect way to start the morning. My husband used the fitness room every morning while I preferred a long walk past the shops along other resorts to begin the day. The staff was kind, attentive, and friendly. We enjoyed stand up paddleboarding and kayaking provided by POC staff at the beach. Fluffy beach towels were provided too. Taiwayne the manager led a fun Tuesday evening trivia, which was a nice way to meet fellow POC visitors! Watson assisted all with tuning in the Super bowl on our Youtube TV that is in the room. There are games and books available. Another favorite was the outdoor ping pong table & pool table by the pool. Bernard, Andrea and other staff were great! Location is perfect - walk to grocery store and plenty of restaurants. We walked to/from the Thursday Island Fish Fry (about 25 min for those used to walking). Great decision for us to book with POC!

Loved staying here, very close to Grace Bay, and lots of good restaurants in walking distance. Close walk to a car rental place. Pool & hot tub were clean and enjoyable. Nice breakfast included and friendly staff. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff members were very friendly and helpful. Their attitude made our stay very pleasant. The hotel itself is clean and a close walk to the beach. We were glad that they provided us with towels, chairs, and an umbrella for the beach. The breakfast provided had a good variety and we liked that they provided ice water, hot water, and coffee all day. The hotel is close to a little shopping plaza which was very convenient for getting food throughout the day. Very nice place for families–especially ones with older kids. The only issue we had was with the shower temperature. The first day of our stay the water in our shower was very cold but the rest of the week it was burning hot. It was hard to find a balanced temperature. Overall we had a great stay here!

It is one of the more reasonably priced properties in a nice area. Walkable distance to restaurants. Across the street from a nice but pricey grocery store that has about everything you need. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The grounds are beautiful.

Internet service non existent, you would think its dial up from 1980 and not 2023. Breakfast was terrible, hair in the scrambled eggs, request to have boiled eggs and was refused. Hotel was empty our 2 rooms and probably another 4/5 guests max diring our stay. Request a better room with internet reception and was refused. Killed 4 cockroaches in my room. Moldy smell in the room, very unhealthy

This was my first time staying at this resort and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff. The rooms were spacious and the property was conveniently located to so many great restaurants as well as the close proximity to the beach. I will definitely return and will bring enough friends to enjoy the 3-bedroom villas that they offer!!

The main thing I disliked about the hotel is that I could not turn off the A/C in the room. It gets freezing at night and combined with the humidity, it feels damp and gross. During the more temperate months (off-peak season), it would be nice if we were able to control the A/C in our hotel rooms. Aside from that, the resort is pretty and the staff are polite. I enjoyed my stay. Definitely ask about access to the beach. Don't make the same mistake I did and walk aimlessly for 40 minutes

There was a Grocery Store directly across the street for cheaper options for food. Easy to find and easy access to shops. The Hot Water supply was spotty. Two days out of 5 there was no hot water for showering.

The only thing I was not a fan of the property was the lack of hot/warm water. The water in this island gets pretty chilly due to the breezy and chilly nights, so management should invest in a better water heating system.

Stayed one night before travel to outer islands. Check in and check out was excellent and staff were great. Room had been refurbished but a few things like broken lights which are new and dirty floor were concerning. Air conditioners is old style and very loud and lot of corridor noise since not well sound proofed. With a couple of tweaks, this could be great.

Hotel is in a good location great rooms and well cleaned daily - aircon is a large old unit which was quite noisy but worked! Staff were good. Lovely pool and pool area - though they played the same angst indie music quite loud on a loop all day! Beach staff were great - very helpful. Set in lovely gardens a few minutes from the beach with shops and restaurants on our doorstep.

I did not enjoy my stay here . Customer service could have been a whole lot better . The staff were not friendly & the boss son that was there VERY nasty! Attitude wise One of the receptionist there I believe her name is sandy , she was ok & she was nice for the most part . & the bar tender was cool . Next time I visit this beautiful island , I will NOT being staying here .

The hotel is in a convenient location. Sandy (front receptionist) was excellent, very friendly and helpful. However, the other workers made us feel like we were bothering them. The bartender was very rude, most of these employees seemed mad that they were even there. I noticed a cockroach on the breakfast counter which grossed us out. When we brought the concern to a person working there, his response was “ok” Overall, you get what’s your pay for. The hotel is in a great location but I wouldn’t go back to it.

Check-in was not good. Check-in time was 3pm and we arrived at 3:15pm and the room was still not available. Waited about 45 mins for the room. Housekeeping has done a poor job in cleaning in general and did not provided replacement of soap and towels. The property is average. Sandy at the front desk was helpful in providing recommendation for beaches. The only saving grace.

Check in was horibble. Waited 1 hr to check in and we werent even doing an early check in. First front desk said tgey were cleaning the room, 15 mins i tried to check she couldnt contact the cleaning lady. They another 15 mins something was wrong with the room, then another 15 mins I kept checking in the front and still something wrong with the room. By this time they should have just given another room. Then the manager, said he doesnt want to give just any room, but after 1 hr of waiting, lots of travel I would take anything to accommodate us they just transfer us later. Front desk and manager did not even offer anything, an extra drink or atleast help with the bags for the inconvenience. I really wanted to like this place, it was close to everything but the pool was also dirty and cold. Breakfast was ok. But the staff was not friendly and did not care about the guests. They checking out, computer system was down. Just spend a little more else where. The manager himself said it is not a 5 star hotel but atleast have good staff to help the guests feel welcome. This place, aside from location is not worth booking.

Terrific service. Sandy at the front desk made check in a breeze (accommodating a super early checkin which was so very much appreciated). The room was perfect for my family. Breakfast included was awesome to be able to make the most of your day Located just off of a beach where you have access to lounge chairs and umbrellas is incredible. Even met the owner one of the mornings. You can tell it is a well managed property. Would definitely come back!

Overall I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel was clean and attentive. I wish it were directly on the beach however it’s about a 6 minute walk or there is a shuttle to take you. Also there is a private section on the beach. Lots to do within a walking distance. I will visit again.

Nice location. Breakfast not as depicted but adequate. But scrambled eggs, coffee, juice and a few other thins ALWAYS running low or out. Beach chair saved early morning by some guests but not occupied until afternoon causing much difficulty in finding lounge chairs for us ordinary people. Not impressed by the pool bar. They would NOT extend check out for even one hours despite us spending almost $5k for our 7 day stay. It was all “okay” but could have been better.

While this is not a luxury property, it was a great middle of the road option. Facilities were well kept. The room was clean, roomy enough and updated. The pool wasn't huge but adequate for the facility size and also well kept. A very short walk to the beach across the street and chairs and umbrellas were plentiful. The shuttle did not come often enough for us to make use of it but it really wasn't necessary with such a short walk to the beach. Breakfast was included which is a bonus for savings. There was fresh fruit croissants bread and eggs alternating between scrambled and boiled plus Yoplait yogurt. I was not impressed, but it got the job done. coffee and filtered water were available 24/7. The water was a huge bonus. The coffee was not the best. Plenty of stores and restaurants walking distance as well a grocery store that makes a fantastic deli sub or wrap hot or cold for only $7.50. It was big enough for my husband and I to split. The surrounding area was very nice, safe and lots to do. I would recommend this resort to anyone who doesn't have an unlimited or very big budget. We preferred to spend our extra cash on excursions and nice dinners out which I highly recommend. Also a kid friendly resort.

Definitely needs updating! Be aware that you’re going to be with the clientele that’s “on a budget” Suuuuuper noisy guests, door slamming, speakers at the beach, pool, etc. No concept of quiet at all. Breakfast was subpar. Staff were amazing!

We enjoyed stand up paddleboarding and kayaking provided by POC staff at the beach. Fluffy beach towels were provided too. Taiwayne the manager led a fun Tuesday evening trivia, which was a nice way to meet fellow POC visitors! Watson assisted all with tuning in the Super bowl on our Youtube TV that is in the room. There are games and books available. Another favorite was the outdoor ping pong table & pool table by the pool. Bernard, Andrea and other staff were great! Location is perfect - walk to grocery store and plenty of restaurants. We walked to/from the Thursday Island Fish Fry (about 25 min for those used to walking). Great decision for us to book with POC!
