So quaint! Small room but everything you need! Brought a pet and it was perfect to walk durangos Main Street! Great hostess with a bunch of goodies in the room! Check out Lola’s next door for coffee and food! Will return!

Easy to find. Parking onsite. Great, walkable location in Durango near shops and restaurants. We enjoyed Lola's next door with our dog for drinks and dinner. Excellent and prompt communication before and during our stay. Owner is very nice and helpful. We reserved a dog friendly king studio. The room was small but more than adequate. Many dog friendly amenities like bowls, a dog bed, and dog sheet were in the room. I hate to mention any complaints but the room was a tad warm. There wasn't air conditioning, only heat. But the room cooled down in the evening by use of the ceiling fan and opening a window. We would definitely stay here again.

The Leland House is a historic old inn located in downtown Durango, only a block off Main. Parking is right behind the building. The area is safe and has lots of restaurants, bars, shops and the train depot within a five minute walk. Having stayed there twice, we missed the included breakfast that is no longer offered. The room we stayed in was a bit small. Next time we will opt for a larger one. All in all it is a nice, relaxing place to stay with a hard to beat location.

Wonderful place to stay. Right in town Easy walk to many good restaurants. Easy walk to the Durango to Silverton train station. Has own private parking. Very clean with separate living, kitchen and bedroom. Kitchen is full furnished. We will definitely be back!!!

I spent 1 week in Durango, CO, and had the chance to stay in 3 different hotels in the same location. Among all of them, Leland House was, by far, the best experience. The customer service was amazing, very responsive and made everything possible for us to have the best experience during our stay. They have free bike rentals for their guests, the room is modern and cozy, there’s AC, fan, and fridge in the bedroom. Location is great, walking distance to the best restaurants in town and they provide free self parking. If we ever return to Durango, we will definitely stay at Leland’s again!

Alec was wonderful. Rooms small but everything very cleverly considered to make the most of space and be as charming and comfortable as possible. Lovely ambience, service and location. Loved Lola’s next door and welcoming bartender and ease of access. So much better than a chain and the area is very walkable with lots of shopping and dining options. Will visit again with pleasure.

Guests should be notified if their room is located upstairs and that there’s no elevator. Second sheets be clean and not full of hair. Third one should find a bug crawling on their pillow. Will not book here again.

Location location location. Everything is walking distance from you. Check-in and check-out was super easy. Suite smaller than I expected, but super warm and cozy nonetheless. The walls and floors are super thin, you can easily hear neighboring conversations and footsteps but consider this is a historic building. For the price, I would elect to stay elsewhere.

Not a bad place to stay and conveniently located to all downtown attractions. Mattress was very stiff for my taste, and had a hard time sleeping. Noises travel through the room very easily, but to be expected from a place this old. Bathroom was. Little small as well, but useable.

This was a nice property close to Main Street and plenty of food options. It was a little pricey for the size of the room and only a queen bed. The room itself was nice. Downfall is you can hear a lot of noise, people opening and closing doors talking dogs barking. But the property is aware of this and provides ear plugs. Nice treats and in room amenities.

The Leland House is a really cool historic building just south of Main Street next to Lola's (Great little spot for food). Parking in back down the alley was easy to find, but might be a little tight with a bigger vehicle. Our room was ready early and we were able to check in when we arrived. All information for check in was texted to us. The Leland team was very responsive when we needed to communicate with them. Since the building is old there is some noise from outside and in the hallways when you are in your room. This is to be expected in a building like this and they provide ear plugs for light sleepers. We stayed in a studio room. The room is not very big, but is perfect for 2 people. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is tiny. I am 6'1" and 190 lbs. I feel like if you are much bigger than that you may not fit in the bathroom in the studio. If you like unique hotels and historic buildings this place is for you. We would definitely stay again.

Communication and location of property was great, walkable. Loved Lolas diner next to it, and fridge in the room. And next to Steam works brewery. Check in and check out suoer easy. Parking lot easy to find. As someone with bad back the bed was not comfortable; made sleep difficult. This is a common complaint for most hotels I stay at. Floors were super squeaky; if me or my husband got up at night to bathroom would wake each other up. AC worked... but rooms were still hot and stuffy. Could hear my neighbors tv even though it wasnt very loud. For the price I would maybe consider staying else where. I was super impressed with the Rochester across the street or Strater. Love the solar panel theme; and the staff were super nice; for comfort this perhaps wasnt a win for me. I hate to say that I wanted to love this place so much.

Room was clean and cozy. Perfect location! So close to everything! We came for our anniversary, and left our kids and dogs at home. It was a little disappointing to have the doors sooooo thin we could hear a baby crying and yelling and dogs constant whining and barking a couple rooms down, that awoke us very early and lasted for hours. They did have ear plugs, however it was much too loud to block out. Not everyone sleeps in,but we like to. Kids are understandable , but with that poor of noise reduction, dogs should absolutely be reconsidered. However, room was cute, fridge was big, they had a microwave. Nice touch to have cold filtered water in the fridge! Bed was firm but comfortable.

I highly recommend this experience. Perfect location if you're there for downtown Durango. The property is extremely well-managed. They text you all the instructions the day of, text to make sure all is well, and then text when you leave. The rooms are gorgeous, tasteful and practical. I'm going back.

The Leland House is a really cool historic building just south of Main Street next to Lola's (Great little spot for food). Parking in back down the alley was easy to find, but might be a little tight with a bigger vehicle. Our room was ready early and we were able to check in when we arrived. All information for check in was texted to us. The Leland team was very responsive when we needed to communicate with them. Since the building is old there is some noise from outside and in the hallways when you are in your room. This is to be expected in a building like this and they provide ear plugs for light sleepers. We stayed in a studio room. The room is not very big, but is perfect for 2 people. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom is tiny. I am 6'1" and 190 lbs. I feel like if you are much bigger than that you may not fit in the bathroom in the studio. If you like unique hotels and historic buildings this place is for you. We would definitely stay again.

Impeccable service and accommodations. Beautifully updated historical architecture at the quaint hotel and adjacent, co-owned (locally) cafe. Very conveniently located. Everyone was so kind, helpful, and welcoming. We loved it!

For us, it was a last minute, lets get out of town weekend! while on our travels through Expedia, we found Leland house! What a gem! clean safe easy readily accessible to food literally right next door! It was a 5 minute walk to the strip and train station ( which we did, also amazing). We highly recommend The Leland House and will definitely be back again!!!

Room was clean and cozy. Perfect location! So close to everything! We came for our anniversary, and left our kids and dogs at home. It was a little disappointing to have the doors sooooo thin we could hear a baby crying and yelling and dogs constant whining and barking a couple rooms down, that awoke us very early and lasted for hours. They did have ear plugs, however it was much too loud to block out. Not everyone sleeps in,but we like to. Kids are understandable , but with that poor of noise reduction, dogs should absolutely be reconsidered. However, room was cute, fridge was big, they had a microwave. Nice touch to have cold filtered water in the fridge! Bed was firm but comfortable.

Wonderful place to stay. Right in town Easy walk to many good restaurants. Easy walk to the Durango to Silverton train station. Has own private parking. Very clean with separate living, kitchen and bedroom. Kitchen is full furnished. We will definitely be back!!!

So quaint! Small room but everything you need! Brought a pet and it was perfect to walk durangos Main Street! Great hostess with a bunch of goodies in the room! Check out Lola’s next door for coffee and food! Will return!

Communication and location of property was great, walkable. Loved Lolas diner next to it, and fridge in the room. And next to Steam works brewery. Check in and check out suoer easy. Parking lot easy to find. As someone with bad back the bed was not comfortable; made sleep difficult. This is a common complaint for most hotels I stay at. Floors were super squeaky; if me or my husband got up at night to bathroom would wake each other up. AC worked... but rooms were still hot and stuffy. Could hear my neighbors tv even though it wasnt very loud. For the price I would maybe consider staying else where. I was super impressed with the Rochester across the street or Strater. Love the solar panel theme; and the staff were super nice; for comfort this perhaps wasnt a win for me. I hate to say that I wanted to love this place so much.

Easy to find. Parking onsite. Great, walkable location in Durango near shops and restaurants. We enjoyed Lola's next door with our dog for drinks and dinner. Excellent and prompt communication before and during our stay. Owner is very nice and helpful. We reserved a dog friendly king studio. The room was small but more than adequate. Many dog friendly amenities like bowls, a dog bed, and dog sheet were in the room. I hate to mention any complaints but the room was a tad warm. There wasn't air conditioning, only heat. But the room cooled down in the evening by use of the ceiling fan and opening a window. We would definitely stay here again.

The Leland House is a historic old inn located in downtown Durango, only a block off Main. Parking is right behind the building. The area is safe and has lots of restaurants, bars, shops and the train depot within a five minute walk. Having stayed there twice, we missed the included breakfast that is no longer offered. The room we stayed in was a bit small. Next time we will opt for a larger one. All in all it is a nice, relaxing place to stay with a hard to beat location.

Perfect location and a great place to stay. Comfortable bed, pillows, good communication before arrival, easy checkin and checkout, doors use a code to unlock so no key to carry around, free drink wooden coin waiting in the room for the place next door with outdoor seating and live music the night we were there.

We had a great stay at the historic Leland House. The place is a block from the main street making it central but quiet. It was very clean and easy to communicate with staff. We borrowed the bicycles for a scenic ride along the river. Highly recommend.

The suite was very clean. There was plenty of space in the 1 bedroom queen suite for our family of 5. They even brought us a roll away bed. The location was close to everything downtown! It was super easy to check in and check out. I really appreciated the large kitchen and refrigerator with filtered water too. And the parking lot was just behind the building-so convenient!
