This is a grand dame of a ryokan hotel next to a beautiful river with a scenic view of a suspension bridge and cliff. The hotel is very worn and in real need of a renovation, but the staff keep it as clean as they can. This is not a glamorous hotel and is definitely past its prime. However, that's not why you come here. You come to this ryokan for the hospitality, the well-maintained spa, the family activities, which are numerous (outdoor pool, manga reading room, mahjong, billiards, table tennis and karaoke) and its convenient location to the train station and the river. The buffet breakfast and dinner are delicious, the staff is very friendly and hard-working and there is an endless supply of choose-your-own yukata by the front desk. This is a quiet town and the sidewalk rolls up early as well as the activities in the hotel, which makes it a good, wholesome place for a family with young children or teens.

お風呂も良かったですし、アメニティもしっかりしており、プールがあったりなど、子供も大人もゆっくり過ごすことが出来ました。夏休みの楽しい思い出ができました。ありがとうございました。

建物が古いので仕方ない部分はあります。部屋のトイレの床がギシギシしたのは怖い。部屋にあと1枚タオル、ドライヤーが欲しい。貸切露天風呂、カラオケの無料はうれしいサービス！夕食バイキングの飲み放題にはビックリです。

ホテルスタッフの接客はとても良いです。風呂が大浴場１つしか無いのと貸し切り露天風呂も１つしか無く予約で直ぐに埋まってしまいます。でもサウナがあるのが嬉しいですね。

Hôtel dans son jus, ce qui son charme. Très bien équipé mais attention, il faut tout RÉSERVER. À 13h pour le soir, à 17h pour le lendemain matin. Sinon vous n’aurez pas accès aux incroyables buffets de petit déjeuner et dîner à prix modiques (possibilité de réserver la version dîner de luxe en plus mais la version buffet est déjà fantastique ! Très large choix, illimité), ni au onsen privé, ni au karaoké ou à ping-pong. Grand onsen public, salle de jeux d’arcades, bibliothèque et salle TV en accès libre. Piscine immense en horaires restreints : 9h-10h30 puis 13h-18h. Shuttle pour la gare à horaires fixes à réserver aussi. Super parc EDOMURA à 10 minutes en taxi et balade dans les gorges en bateau à 10 minutes à pied.

浴室がとにかく清潔。泉質は個人差があるかとは思いますが、私的にはかなり合ってました。年代感は否めませんが、それをもってしても良かったです。バイキングの時間枠が１本なのも、効率的で良いと思います。アルコール飲み放題がこれまた嬉しいです。ありがとうございました！また来ます。

事情があり、部屋の風呂を使用したかったのですが、お湯をしばらく出していても水しか出なかったので、部屋の風呂を諦めました。それと、部屋の湯沸かしポットですが、保温にならず、ずっと沸騰状態になっていたので、壊れているポットは交換した方が良いと思いました。フロントの方は、丁寧な説明をしてくださったので親切だと感じました。

This place has very much seen better days. I didn't arrive in time to try their restaurants so I can't be any judge of that, but the rooms had no AC, I found an Ant twice in my room (and you know if you find one then there are MORE !), hair on my sheets, and everything had a very worn and stained look (walls, wallpaper, etc). The Onsen part wasn't too good either. A lot of the hallways had half hazard done patches from holes punched or kicked into the walls. When I talked to the staff about my room they apologized and that was it. When I left they gave me $10 vouchers for next time I visit (I WON'T !).

Le bain est immense. La reception est un peu froide. D'autant qu'on m'a demandé de payer sur place pour la nuit alors que j'avais deja payé pour la reservation. Ils n'ont rien voulu savoir, meme lorsque expliqué en japonais.

娘と2連泊して、日光鬼怒川観光を思う存分楽しむことが出来ました。娘もとても楽しそうで嬉しかったです。伊東園グループのホテルには以前にも宿泊した事がありますが、伊豆のホテルも鬼怒川のホテルもとても素敵な部屋で、良い思い出になっております。今回は5月で少し寒かったので、欲を言えば暖房が欲しかったです。（寒がりなので）

大浴場がある、古いビジネスホテルという感じ。古い建物なので、いろいろ我慢が必要になると思う。設備、清掃、虫の侵入等スタッフの接客はチェックイン、アウトの時会話したのみ。業務のみでこちら側の目線では対応してくれない。特に食事会場でのスタッフの対応最低ランクでした。ドリンクバーの使い方が分からず、困っている老夫婦を無視。一般客同士で助け合うのが必須ですw 楽しい旅にしたいのであれば、この施設への宿泊はお勧めしない。

A great hotel, excellent ambience and surrounding environment. Staff do not communicate in English. But first time I ever feel one of the staff did something dishonorable in Japan was to cancel our booking slot for a private onsen and gave it to another. I have never encountered this in Japan before.

This is a grand dame of a ryokan hotel next to a beautiful river with a scenic view of a suspension bridge and cliff. The hotel is very worn and in real need of a renovation, but the staff keep it as clean as they can. This is not a glamorous hotel and is definitely past its prime. However, that's not why you come here. You come to this ryokan for the hospitality, the well-maintained spa, the family activities, which are numerous (outdoor pool, manga reading room, mahjong, billiards, table tennis and karaoke) and its convenient location to the train station and the river. The buffet breakfast and dinner are delicious, the staff is very friendly and hard-working and there is an endless supply of choose-your-own yukata by the front desk. This is a quiet town and the sidewalk rolls up early as well as the activities in the hotel, which makes it a good, wholesome place for a family with young children or teens.

娘と2連泊して、日光鬼怒川観光を思う存分楽しむことが出来ました。娘もとても楽しそうで嬉しかったです。伊東園グループのホテルには以前にも宿泊した事がありますが、伊豆のホテルも鬼怒川のホテルもとても素敵な部屋で、良い思い出になっております。今回は5月で少し寒かったので、欲を言えば暖房が欲しかったです。（寒がりなので）

今回は家族旅行で利用させてもらいました。中禅寺湖と日光江戸村の観光で利用させて頂きました。伊藤園ホテルグループは何度か利用させてもらってたので、だいたいの予想はついてました。部屋は思ったより綺麗で良かったです。

3世代家族旅行で利用しました。子ども連れて泊まるには丁度良いところかなと思います。プールやカラオケ、ゲームコーナーなど子どもたちが楽しめるポイントはたくさんありました。ご飯もバイキングで大人はアルコールも自由に飲めて満足でした。ただ、清潔さは古いホテルというような感じであまり期待するとがっかりするかなと思います。

The hotel was a bid run down and you can tell that it has seen its best times already. Nevertheless, the atmosphere is really great and relaxing. Especially for the price I can only recommend to stay there for a few days. First, the hotel is full of locals and for three days we were the only foreigners. Thus, it was a really authentic experience and we really enjoyed it. Second, the room, food and clothing you get (kimono & sandals) are all traditional Japanese. Third, alongside the public and private onsen there are plenty of enjoyable offerings by the hotel to spend you time. Such as games, karaoke, an arcade and a mahjong gaming room. Only downside is, that everything closes at 9 and the latest breakfast starts at 8. Overall at great, authentic experience!
