The Adobe Lake View Retreat- Entire House Near Julian

This house was perfect for what we were looking for. We had a family wedding at a nearby winery and needed a place for various family members to spend a night or two and several of us to get ready for the wedding on the big day. Our group consisted of several young adults, adults in their 40s, 60s, and even my mother in her 80s. My mother uses a walker and was able to get around just fine. There is one shower that she could step into. No grab bars, but the listing doesn't claim to be set up for disability-just giving a heads up. There were plenty of beds and bathrooms for everyone. Linens and towels were very good. Kitchen seemed well stocked although we never had time to use anything but the fridge and microwave. Plenty of parking. Nice outdoor space with a view of Lake Henshaw. And oh my, the skies at night! The host was very responsive--on site but not intrusive. We had trouble finding the key pad on the first night. Chalk that up to us being tired (it's not that hard to find) but the host was readily available to help us. Also, on the day of the wedding, the only hair dryer in the house didn't work. 5 minutes after contacting the host there was one delivered to the front door! Lots of positives with this house. Our only complaint is that it was advertised to have air conditioning and it did not. Plenty of fans though.Otherwise an excellent choice.If you have a wedding in the area or just want to get away from the city and take in some nature, this is a great place for it!

We had a great time here. The host was very welcoming and available for any questions. We stayed during cold snowy conditions and it was very nice to have Central Heat and a fireplace to warm the home. Beautiful view and plenty of room for parking and outdoor activities. We had plenty of sleeping areas for six couples. The dinning room has a big table that allowed us all to gather for meals. The living room had ample seating for games and television. We couldn't have been any happier with our stay here.

We spent a wonderful weekend. Adre was very attentive to us when we took care of his help. The place is spacious, full of beautiful views of the lake and also some cute lambs that gave us a pleasant welcome. This will be an unforgettable Christmas in this beautiful place, thank you Andre for your kindness, I appreciate that you allowed us to stay longer in the cabin than usual We will back I recomend these place

The Adobe house was AMAZING! We had lunch with some friends for my moms 70th birthday. They didn't forget anything. In fact, I forgot my crockpot. And they had one waiting for me! Perfect location.
